+ even if he is resting if a group of deer (two or more) begin dancing he will join them, he enjoys the music that it creates.

- Chopin has taken a liking to calm fawns and will often lay near them

+ When Chopin is laying by his usual grave he may sometimes invite a deer to lay with him, this means he trusts them, or he thinks they look lonely.

- Jumping rearing, prancing about in front of another deer that wasn't prancing/playing first; He likes them and is showing off for them.

We decided on the Beach Set! Thanks to everyone for the votes, I can't wait to play him in the Forest!

Heya guys, I can't decide between two sets, so I need a vote.

It'll be for my new deer, Caw, who lived on an island for many years and finally was brought back to The Endless Forest.

The two sets below were put together from suggestions, because I wanted him to have kind of an island look.

Set 1 - Tribal



Pega liked the long mask, and I love the venetian carnival antlers. I thought the kabuki pelt would look neat with this, like the red line was a symbol of his rebirth or something.

Set 2 - Beach



Suggested by Cato, the golden butterfly pelt gives him a kind of sandy look, and the magpie antlers look like grass. The antelope mask has a kind of tiki feel.

So yeah, which one do you like better? They both are awesome to me, so I can't pick XP

Kita turned her gaze down at the nameless fawn that had curled himself into her side. It seemed familiar, but then again all nameless appeared to be the same. She sighed softly and kept him close, eyes sliding closed as she slid into sleep. She would have to help the little one if she could, he seemed like he needed help.


She woke early in the morning having felt the bumping of the fawn as he tried to squirm out from under her head. She sighed gently and lifted her head from his back, giving a smile as he got to his feet and looked back toward her.

"Good morning" she pushed herself up, looking toward Seshi who still lay curled up. She thought of waking him before she decided against it, he seemed to be tired recently so it would be better to let him sleep.

Turning back toward the fawn she looked startled seeing he no longer stood before her.

Deer of the forest,

My recent hiatus from the forest has put me in the mind to tell a tale. The tale will be of Yorres recent absence and return, and will include several of the deer in the Forest and their reactions to his return and the prophecy he was granted while stranded in Limbo. I wanted to post a short list of the deer I intend to include in the story in the hopes of gaining their players' permission to charcterize and write about them. Some deer are only mentioned in conversation with others, while others will take on more central roles. I'm hoping to write a compelling tale you will all enjoy, but I must admit I'm a little rusty at the game of fiction.

So here is a short list. If you see your name please let me know if it's okay to write about your deer. I will happily supply you with more details (i.e. the context of your deer's appearance) if asked. Also: if you'd like to be in this tale and don't see your name, please ask and I will do my best to find a part for your deer to play in this story. This list is by no means complete and I will likely be adding new names as the story unfolds - I have no idea how it will end!
