Recap of Oni's day: 10/2/09

First...Oni put on a Halloween set to dress up for awhile...he loved the snow


He had lots of fun dancing with these group of deer

From left to right: Rai, Oni, Luis, Fay, Quamar, & Bell

He then relaxed with them and spotted Nex passing by


He hopped around with Quam quite a bit--he really loves romping around and having a good time

He also helped Quamar in stopping a fight that appeared to be going on. They stepped in between the two until one left and went on its own separate way.

After that he enjoyed some peace and alone time by the pond--it was so pretty with the snow


Next he rested upon the bridge with Quam and Virgil :3



Oni enjoyed yet another group-dance session--some familiar faces, Quammy and Virgil, and then others that are not-so-familiar BUT, lots of fun all the same ^^

Hoorah for snooow. Tea had fun this morning. She might be on later. 8D

I like all of these names, but I can't decide which one fits better.
I'd really appreciate help with this!
(my fawn's gender will be decided by his/her name)

ALEIT: German and Swiss meaning "noble sort."
SEVEN (on here twice because I thought it'd work for either gender)
NOIR (obviously French for 'black' or 'dark')
COURT (pronounced coo-er; French word for 'Run')

DOE NAMES:

MUNA: Native American Hopi name meaning "overflowing spring"
NOVA: Native American Hopi name meaning "chases butterflies."
AYASHE: Native American Cheyenne name meaning "little one."
SEVEN (on here twice because I thought it'd work for either gender)

I'm open to any opinions you guys may have, so please don't be afraid to post some nice names!

EDIT: I've also been thinking of a way to use the two top names. I made another account (http://www.endlessforest.org/community/arrowstagg) So, the name that I like /most/ of the top two names will be the name of this fawn, and the second name will go to the fawn that has the other pictogram. Does that sound like a good idea?

Okay, I've asked this before and I'll ask again, how do I get transparent images to work on this site? I use The GIMP, and I save it as a PNG file, and it's transparent on photobucket, but it turns up white on here. Any help?

Also, in-forest I just had the entire DotD set CAST on me! They were also capable of casting the crying mask on me! This deer:

I honestly don't know how they did it, but I just hope this doesn't explode. If you would care to tell me who you are, I would like to know. And I'm sure all of us would like to know how you did this.

From the community site. I may just lurk, but I won't be posting or updating anything for a while. Yesterday's drama has me feeling bitter, especially after reading over it again.

Anyway I'm hanging out at the Ruins dancing on Quad's pillar. Please come and say hi or dance with me. I'm at the hospital with my dad for the next few hours and can't find anything to do.

The reminders of ages long-since past, Sumias is at best small, at worst a dervish. Foul-mouthed and fast-tempered, she is of a frightening intelligence. Nothing looking that white and pure should be that cruel and ill-tempered. Sumias was out to stop the world. Or kill it trying.

At the end of the day, when all the world had fallen into sleep, Sumias roused herself from the inked depths of slumber. Like demon's ichor, she poured herself across the forest, in search of things best left unseen, unearthed. It was not as such that Sumias had no sense - she had plenty. Too much, perhaps. No, it was just that Sumias needed to know. There were secrets that had not yet been discovered, and it was the way of intelligent things to oft meddle in things they had no business.

When she was up and about, she rarely stopped. Over and over, bit by bit, she explored every nook, every cranny. Every stone was overturned by the blunted end of antlers, to find the insects that went scurrying about before the white-moon's light, making her a bobbing bit of first winter's snow, before it's been marred and sullied by the slush and the mud.

She did not go loudly; in fact, except when directly speaking to someone, Sumias does not make a sound. Not one: no branches, no leaves crackle beneath her hooves. Her horns scrape no bark. To the ears, Sumias does not exist. Her breath is never loud, her heart never races in her breast.

[=#8f6767]There is something terrible about Sumias. It is not in her size - she of such diminutive stature that she is hardly a threat in that regard. Neither is it in her color - she does not have a pelt of rot, nor a face of skull. Perhaps one could argue that there is something in her voice that is disturbing.

“Incoming message”, a female voice booms across a tinted glass-walled laboratory, lain out like a modern day office and sectioned off with Plexiglas cubicles containing separate experiments. A holographic screen spreads across the far back wall, displaying the insignia of the Irken Elite. The insignia fades, and is swiftly replaced by the image of the Irken Tallests. A lanky, feminine figure strides down the center hallway, and stops only a few yards away from the screen. Her dark golden eyes narrow slightly. “My Tallests? It’s been a while. To what do I owe the pleasure of your call?” she immediately questions. “Always so serious…” Purple mutters before speaking up. “By now you must have heard about our Blood Sport 2 challenge? There will be particular threats to the empire participating in the challenge, so we’ll need you to join and ‘take care of them’, just to ensure there won’t be any dangerous winners.” She sighs, crossing her arms in front of herself, head tilting to one side. “Seems like such threats would just eliminate each other… But if you insist, Sirs... How much should I expect in payment?” She inquires. “We’ll pay double your usual fee, provided you… what’s the word I’m looking for?” Red trails off, glancing at Purple. “Survive?” Purple questions. “Yes… Survive” Red finishes.
