This will eventually expand into an FAQ for the whole forest. This was just easier to kick myself into doing. :B So, yes, hopefully this will answer things!

Screenshot help

Taking screenshots in Windows XP/Vista/7
Once you have been in-game and pressed the 'P' button while playing to take a screenshot, here is how to get to it.
Step 1.
Open your start menu and click on the icon that says 'My Computer'
Step 2.
Open the icon that says Local Disc (C:)
Once this is open click on the 'Program Files' folder (for Window 7 users, it may have (x86) at the end)
Step 3.
At the bottom of the Program Files folder there will be another folder that says 'Tale of Tales'
Inside of this folder will be another that says 'The Endless Forest 3'
Open it
Step 4.
Now that you are in this folder there will be others titled '3rd', 'channels', 'engine', 'userdata' {for spelldata later on}, 'Cache', 'data', and finnaly 'screenshots'.
By opening the screenshots folder you will find all the pictures that you took by pressing 'P' while in the forest.

For Vista Users:

Step 1.
Open your start menu and click open on the 'all programs'
Step 2.
click once on the 'The Endless Forest 3' so the subcategories show, among them 'screenshots' Click it.
Step 3.
A window opens, and it says 'This folder is empty.' but above it, in between the addres bar and the empty folder is 'Combatility files', and it must be clicked.

I had to leave the forest a little while ago (chores to do) and when I came back a nice stag cast candles on me! 8DD
I couldn't see his picto and he logged out as soon as I turned to face him!

UPDATE: Oh, and to that little red deer with the candles, I'm sorry Aleit left so suddenly! My computer was acting up again and it kicked me off I hope your deer can make it through the forest safely!

Hey guys, I'm kindof a noob so yeah I've got a few questions. My major proble is with names. How do you name your deer? Should I be able to see the symbol? I can't see it, so, if I should see it, what do I have to do to get it?

Who is and who isn't taking place in the rut. If you have special requests for who you wish to have online then post here. I'm almost afraid of Iviran xD I'm afraid of a doe actually picking him LMAO! I'll update this once a day for the most part, depending who I'm on at the time though I'm probably going to alternate between Iviran and Claudia. Maybe an every other day thing, or I'll go between the two every hour. NOTE: They will share a picto with Toxic until they are full grown where they will gain their own pictos.

Ghost Mikaila
Mikaila will likely not be tending the rut, seeing as she is a Ghost/Spirit she wouldn't be able to give any stag the right of an Heir or any fawns. If she is online at the time, she will more than likely stay off to the sidelines and ignore advances towards her from stags. She doesn't see anything to gain from the Rut. Of course, she might do some playful flirting. She will not pick any stags. If she nuzzles you a lot it means she enjoys your company and likes you.

Note: Stags that wear the Kirin Pelt will NOT be able to approach her as she will run away out of fear.

Much like his sister Maliran will likely not be taking part in the Rut seeing as he is a spirit of a fallen Fawn. He will, watch those that come around and will be protective of does who do not show interest in any of the stags (Or those stags that cannot take a hint) but he will not show any want to fight or get near those that are being taken. Since Maliran himself doesn't lean towards Does, they are welcome to approach. He'll enjoy the company but he won't be selected as a mate. Seeing as I don't think he'd be capable of producing.

It seemed to take months. Months before any sign of the fog came. During those months was a period of peace, for the most part. Some areas seemed to keep up the occasional violence and misunderstanding. Nothing new going on. Life carried on.

Danielle looked at her reflection in the pond. It was clear by the size of her stomach that she was pregnant. She hated it. Waking up sick, carrying the extra weight, all the looks and points from other deer. It was nothing she wanted to do so soon, so against her will. And what's more, it wasn't even with the one who she wanted to be the father. Well, technically he was, but not in mind. It was not out of love. Not at all.

She spat at the reflection, waking the water ripple a bit before settling again. Clock had an opposite view on it, but he could never dwell on it because of his fear for the future. Clock actually wanted this fawn to come. As if it didn't matter how it came to be, he still wanted to take care of it with her. Either way, he made the mess. He wasn't going to run away from something like this.

Danielle trotted back to her mate and sat down carefully. “Cloooock...” She leaned against him, which made him tip over a little due to the weight of the small fawn along with her large antlers. “This sucks.”

“I know... I'm really sorry you feel so bad.” He offered his daily apology once more.

“Ohhhh quit it.” She smiled, kissing him on the cheek. In truth she was finally getting used to it. She was finally able to block out the other thoughts she had of the fawn. The thoughts she never shared with Clock, since she knew how he felt about it. She didn't know what he would say.

“... It kicked me.” Clock said plainly.

“Yeah, it'll do that...”

“I wonder how long it's been...”

Danielle let out a playful scoff, “I wouldn't worry, it won't be for a while... I think.”
