The thick white fog surrounds me
And veils my eyes of all I see
Of every mushroom, deer, and tree
It is a day for fear and misery
The fog makes this day so dreary
For those with their hearts so weary
But my vision has much more clarity
For I see the fog as Nature lovely
The deer run and call out terribly
Their noise so ambient and scary
But it sings in my ears so musically
I smile and walk this day so foggy
Fawns run through the land ghostly
With their fun and games so playfully
I'd ask to join them if they'd let me
But they vanish through the fog quickly
I go and sit under the willow tree
And notice nearby the shadow of thee
So I ask of you "what you believe
Of the fog and of this day to be?"
I never thought this day I see
To fill my eyes so beautifully
So I declare this foggy day for me
