I Climbed Your Arms...

...and you pulled away.

And so, having stolen the first star out of the sky, the Beast considered the work he’d had to do. So much work, even for such a great prize. Surely there was a way to simplify this process.

So the Beast sat and stewed, rested and mused, and thought about the ways in which one might reach the Heavens, with all of it’s bright, flickering lights. An epiphany struck him, lightening bolt bright.

If but mine horns could scrape at the underbelly of the sky,” the Beast surmised, “then I could take all the stars I might want.

But…how to make one’s self bigger? Another puzzle, another conundrum.

Beside the Beast, his ever persistent Shadow stirred and slithered, rippled and ran along the great Beast’s back, to pour his tongues into a tattered ear.

I will help you,” the Shadow slurred, tongues twining in his mouth, behind the brilliant bright of his bear trap mouth. “I will pull one way and you can pull another, and you will stretch yourself so tall!

The Beast looked thoughtful: it was not the worst idea to have.

Alright,” he agreed, “but you must be careful with mine horns - they are terribly sharp, and it would not be hard to hurt yourself.

I promise to be careful,” the Shadow sang, and soon, the Beast bent and pitched forward to stand. His Shadow rose as well, making himself hands were none had been and when the Beast bowed his head, his Shadow reached out to grab at the endless sprawl of tines that served as the Beast’s horns.

The Beast started to back up and the Shadow started to tug and soon, the Beast started to lengthen. He grew and grew, the length of his body turning terribly long. Before the sun was set, he was so tall that his tines touched the sky with no problem.

When the Beast looked about, he was both pleased and puzzled. He was so terribly tall now, but something seemed to be amiss.

Good News! - A lagless TEF

After some long years of lagging and hardly even able to move my in-game mouse because of the intensity of it, my computer screen finally broke. (Though it was very old, maybe 10 years or so?) and I got a new one! So then I go online, jump into the game of TEF, and there in front of me, I realize the strong absence of a nasty thing- the lag was gone! It was perfectly smooth, I suppose the other computer screen was much too old..and so I'll probably be much more active from now on.

Dark of The Pond (re-post)

So I`m thinking of writing up a story for TEF. This is just a little oneshot a I thought up that would be based off the story.

Sunlight shone through the dense wooded trees, bathing the lush green forest in sunlight. The spots that the sunlight did not reach where spots of cool, misty shades. The fawn breathed in the air as it ran through a patch of shade, heading for its destination.

The fawn kept joyfully running until its little hooves suddenly stopped, digging into the soft soil. Before it lay a calm, unbroken, blue-green pond. The fawn bent down, lapping up the water. It tasted magical, the clear, clean liquid. So... magicial.

The fawn finished drinking and looked up. It blinked, flicking its ears in contentment.

That`s when the fawn saw it. A flash of something, out of the corner of its bright eyes.

It looked up. On a hill next to the pond stood a huge gray black stag. Its antlers were blood red, its eyes even more so. They glowed and flashed with pure malice.

The fawn froze, half out of shock and the other of denial. The forest was a safe, sweet place. The deers were all kind-hearted and fun. Surely its eyes must be playing tricks on it?!

Perhaps there was something wrong with the pond water.
No. There was never anything wrong with the pond water.

The deer loomed over the pond and the fawn, looking down on it in a way that would have unerved even the most mighty, steel-hearted deer. Yet the fawn still refused to believe that something would hurt it.

It was so sad. As a huger shadow rose up over the pond, and the fawn bellowed in fright as a plume of gray black ash rose up behind the shadowy stag, it still didn`t run.

Even as the stag began to run toward the pond, the little fawns feet were only begining to turn.
