Into:
The day was warm but the shade thrown out by the standing stones was cool, so it was here that Queze lounged. He had heard, through passing word, of Quad's display in removing his antlers and the story interested him; if the boy truly did wish to better himself the old Aztec would happily oblige. No son of Walter's should suffer cowardice. He thought, eager for Quad's arrival and the start of his lesson.

I'm curious, do you have a 'voice actor' for your character(s)? Is there someone who you think of as having 'their voice'? I'd love to know what your characters sound like!

I've seen a few people mention how they'd appreciate some critique so I'm offering my services. If you have literature or visual art that you would like critiqued, I'm more than happy to have a look-see and mention anything that strikes me as could be improved. I will critique any media, any subject matter, but poetry is not my strong suit so I won't have as much to say about those sorts of pieces.

This blog is a collection of short stories about my vulture character Turk, based on In Forest events as well as his experiences before entering The Forest. Stories are posted oldest to newest, for new stories please scroll to the bottom of the blog.

Important: If Turk feeds on a deer it is the choice of that player to make that damage 'canon'. If you do not wish to acknowledge damage done by Turk to your deer, you can simply pretend he has just sat beside your deer. You are under no obligation! If something Turk has done has troubled or confused you, please feel free to comment here and talk with me about it. I don't bite, even if Turk does.

For those unfamiliar, a Drabble is a short bit of writing removed from a set plot, too short to be called a story and too organized to be poetry. The drabbles here will revolve around Queze's existence outside of The Forest, as well as experiences from his time as a deer in The Endless Forest. Writing will be posted in the order they are composed (newest at the bottom of each scroll box).

If any stories feature content I feel is of a mature nature, a warning will appear under the title of the drabble. If something doesn't sound like your cup of tea, you can simply skip that story. There will, of course, not be anything sexually explicit, but you can expect mention of adult relationships, graphic violence, gore, and the occasional ritualistic cannibalism.

Inspired by patron Saints and assorted mythologies, I've started to play around with ideas for what the patrons of Endless Deer would be like. This blog will contain art and short stories featuring these entities. If you have an idea for a patron saint feel free to mention it!
