Though I haven't created an account for her yet. 'xD I want to start playing her when I know I have enough time to enjoy of her first day properly and not any sooner. Perhaps tomorrow morning? Or, if not in the morning, at least some time tomorrow.
I think I'll name her Jun. Initially I considered naming her Droplet, though, but I think it might have had sounded too...I dunno, sad for her, so I'm inclining more to Jun. Besides I really like the name and I think it'd suit her better even though the name's usually perceived more masculine than feminine. ~ So, soon there's another new fawn skipping around in the forest. : D
Still, I'm a little worried how I'll manage to arrange time to play two deer, though *sigh* But oh well, it's another day's worry.

In Which Sitka has published a best-selling book and has to make the media rounds, and doesn't really understand what she's supposed to do. Nor does she want to.
"So, Miss... Sitka, is it? Miss Sitka, how are you today?"
Really, this stuff is understandable considering "How To Be HAPPPEEEE!" is selling like crazy, but goodness this chair is uncomfortable!
"Now, we understand that you came up with the book while you were sitting in a... mushroom circle? Tell us a little bit about your process."
Pro-cess? What is that? I just talk to deer and ask what they enjoy. I dunno what that has to do with pros or cesses or anything. I like other deer and they like me and then I asked a squirrel to write it all down. Then I had to have a frog translate it cuz I don't speak squirrel.
"What is this about your singing career? Are you planning on releasing a CD anytime soon?"
CD! I understand that! A-B-C-D-E-F... why is he looking at me like that? He's grumpy. I don't think he's read my book.
"I haven't read your book..."
AHA!
"...but people are hailing you as the next spiritual leader of the twenty-first century because of the simplicity of your steps to happiness and self-actualization."
Wha?
"How do you feel about being considered alongside such great leaders as the Dalai Lama?"
Dunno, but a llama doll sure sounds fun! I'm gonna go get one. Love love love.
"Miss Sitka, the interview isn't over. Where are you going? Oh, don't paw the floor and jump around like that, you'll ruin the carpet. Help! Security!"

It's insane how many social interactions can go on in the Endless Forest without the players talking to one another through words. In almost all online games, there is a way of chat, whether it is censored, limited, only available as a member, etc. Starting the game a month ago, I was really hoping it would be something that I would be able to get into since it seemed to be really interesting. As a fawn, I greatly did not want to wait a whole month to grow up but I figured I would get to learn a lot of things first from the furry community. I did not involve myself in the website at this point; I wanted to get to the know the game myself. The Endless Forest has endless opportunities of social experimentation and seeing as how I want to go into Psychology, this was a lovely sounding idea...

[=black][b]I have met a few fairly interesting deer. But the most interesting creature I've met so far is much smaller.
The other day, I was among the graves, as usual, communicating with the spirits. Somehow, lately, I have begun to feel...different. I have never been interested in the company of the living. But, I feel as though I am starting to want something that the spirits cannot provide, though I'm not sure what. But I feel almost as though I'm missing something...
It seemed that a lot of deer were getting on my nerves that day. I tried to get them to leave. One fawn was especially stubborn, refusing to move though it was clearly afraid. There was a minor scuffle at one point.
After finally managing to get some deer that were bothering me to leave, I noticed a small creature, a bat, fluttering around my head. Were it any other creature, other than a deer, I would have simply ignored it. But I have seen bats before, and they have always intrigued me. This is the first time I have seen one so close, and that acted in such a manner. Somehow my anger seemed to fade, and I attempted to communicate with this bat. Of course, this is not easy, as bats cannot speak, nor can they communicate in the same way that deer do. But I think we managed to understand each other on some level, somehow.
I have seen this bat two more times since then. I have to say, I enjoy its company, which is more than I can say for any other mortal creature. Communication does not seem to be as much of an issue as one might expect. It follows me, or I follow it. I lay down, and it lands besides me. And though I do not engage in the same foolishness that other deer commonly participate in, it is somewhat oddly...entertaining...pursuing the little creature as it flies around, sometimes at a speed that I can hardly keep up with, almost like some sort of...mock chase.

Is it just me...
Or has this place been abandoned, seemingly, by Michael this summer? o.o;
*pokes front page n' such*
Just an observation.

If you ever get tired of that glow, and still want to lay as annoyingly close as possible to someone, if you bump the Nature Detail down a notch(just to the point where the pond no longer reflects), the golden glow will go away.
I figured this out several days ago, just thought I'd share~
