Ashe's diary: Awkward much?

I stared at him, transfixed. Thoughts churned in my head, I gasped, exhausted. My giant antlers nuzzled the ground. My hoofs felt the heartbeat of the forest thoughts. Turmoil.

(Ugh, sorry for the shortness, making this up x3)

Oh good god. Freaking computer hates me.

Hokay, time for some backtracking, and a whirlwind tale of love, deception, and mur-

Oh wait, wrong blog.

Let's start with about a month ago. A month ago, my computer battery error'd, and told me it couldn't be charged anymore. I unplugged the batter charger, and the computer went out completely. However, I kept putting off telling my dad, because I figured out through that little weasel brain of mine that if I kept the charger plugged into the computer, it would turn on, and I could still use it.

Well, I have no clue if that's the root cause of what happened the other night, but I thought I'd throw that out there in case a computer whiz happens to be reading this and takes note 8D

Anyways, back on track.

The other night, I was up from about 10pm to 3am trying to get my computer to operate. The reason? My computer was blue screening constantly, it froze up whenever it was trying to do a disk check, it would blue screen when trying to use Rescue and Recover (which repairs any minor damage to the computer that it can fix), and it kept saying that Windows Explorer was failing.

Well, finally, yesterday morning, the disk check went through alright, and I could access my computer again. However, since it's been alright for the most part, I've left it alone.

However, everytime I log into my computer now, this window pops up:

And when I went to check the actual file, this is the information I'm given:

What upsets me is the fact that I can no longer access Adobe Reader, or anything Microsoft Office related, like Word or Excel. I can access Wordpad just fine. However, the Help and Support is not longer accessible either, which sucks because I don't even know where the hell the application log is.

The Mosquito [bio]

Name: "Mosquito"
Picto: X
Gender: Male
Hangout: Large Blueberry Field (Position: 420 x 231)
Native: No

Pelt: Magpie
Antlers: Monarch
Mask: Mapgie
Spell: none

: Appearance ::
This small insect-like freak oddly shares a similar body type to Frollock. He has small transparent wings on his back which can be used for gliding short distances, but they are otherwise rather useless. *colors undecided*

: Personality ::
Mosquito does not like you. He isn't in the forest to frolic about gaily; he's on a mission... That which he will not tell anyone. He doesn't like being near others and will keep as far away from them as possible. If approached by others, he will threaten them with his silly looking "nose"... Though it is stupid looking, it also is rather intimidating. I mean, how would you like to be bitten by a four foot tall mosquito? Ouch. If threatening doesn't work, he'll resort to running up a tree and hopping/gliding away in the treetops, though he'd rather be feared as to not be bothered again.

A Gift

I wondered through the Forest, greeting deer along the way.

I decided I would pay a visit to the Gods Statue. I often liked to sit there and meditate, I guess you could say.

On my way there, I stopped at the lake for a drink.

I looked at my reflection for a bit.

I never really liked my face. Don't ask me why, I couldn't tell you. I just get this strange, almost sad feeling, like an ancient memory is trying to surface that I can't and don't want to remember.

I shook off the thought. I wanted to go visit the Statue even more now.

When I arrived, I found something on the ground in front of the Statue.

A mask.

I went to stand over it to get a closer look at it. It was an elongated mask that I often saw on many of the other deer. On some it looked like a real face.

Beside the mask was a flat, white, rectangular object. It looked quite delicate.

I tested it with my hoof.

As soon as I made contact with it, I heard a distant voice that seemed to fill my head.

It said, "A gift. I think it makes you look more like me. I hope you like it."

I broke contact with the object.

It burst into flame and the ashes blew away in the wind.

The mask glowed a bright green as it lifted itself off the ground.

It floated to fit onto my face.

Then nothing.

At first, I felt like nothing had happened, but then I focused my sight to an elongated snout that seemed to be coming from the center of my face.

I sprinted to the lake and looked at my reflection.

A new face looked back. It was long and fur-covered like the ones on those deer that wore the masks.

I liked it. I found it... Comforting.

But... Who had spoken to me? What had it said meant?

It wouldn't be too long before I forgot these questions as I continued with my life in the Forest.
