Sooo... I just had to write something and to share my feelings.
The day was strange...I have mixed feelings about it.
I had fun at the university, because our group is totally crazy. We just laughed all the time ... we were happy to meet each other.
BUT. I have some problems with one of my friends (let's call her 'A'). She is rather jealous and she never wants to share her friends. At the beginning of summer i had a practise at a fitness club... me and our common friend (let's call her 'B') had to work there for a month as PR-specialists (it was fun btw)). We offered 'A' to do it together - she refused. And now she's offended. Only because we spent a lot of time together with 'B' during the work... we had common jokes, went to the parties and so on.
So now 'A' is trying to show me something... just showing off. And 'B' is away and i miss her:(((
During the last year we were the best friends: me, 'A' & 'B'.
And what's going on now???!!
Total crap! Is that the thing called friendship?

another BUT.
I was offered a job of an English teacher for kids;)) just 2-3 lessons a week.
So... BEWARE, KIDS!!! muahaha!!!

Don't think that i'm a depressive person. Just this situation is freaking me out.
And i finished reading a very sad book about 20 min ago. Everybody died
So i began thinking of sad things. And had to unbosom myself. Sorry for that

Sorry, my English is bad

It's been a few days since I've done one of these so I picked something from the forest to study. This time, La went to De Drinkplaats and did quite a bit of shapeshifting while I wrote down the animals and their animations. I decided to look at these animals in myth (particularly Christian and European myth, although other places' legends were considered).

Most of you probably know a lot about these animals, so I'm trying to write only the things that are interesting or that you might not know, and I only have so many books.

I have also decided to add some anecdotal evidence, as I have had more than my fair share of animal dealings and I really enjoy bragging. For instance, I have held a three-toed sloth (it was like a backpack--it just grabbed me and stayed there), untangled a hawk (my falconer friend was out of town so I fed his hawks. One had tangled itself up, so I untangled it) and been attacked by a playful leopard cub (zoo camp).




I'm sure most of you looked up stuff about deer when you joined the site. I sure did, so I'll keep it brief.

The earliest Cervid lived almost 16 million years ago. Notable prehistoric Deer are Megaloceros and Eucladoceros. I think we have a few living in The Endless Forest, though they no longer inhabit the human world.

Deer meat is called venison, and it is delicious. I do not hunt deer myself because I have generally had good dealings with them, but I have a friend who hunts one deer every year and eats the entire thing. I have a dislike for hunters who kill for sport, but I have no issue with people who hunt for food.

In the united states, there are about one and a half million deer-car crashes every year. Deer kill about 150 humans per year and do over a billion dollars in property damage. My grandmother has issues with deer sneaking into her yard to eat her plants.

Yeah.. I have an available fawn for those who are interested in one for The Rut.

His name is ClosetMonkey and he's kinda wimpy.. aw well. I feel kinda bad for a fawn without parents ^^.

Well, I don't exactly have much to say, seeing as I appear to be the newest member of this fantastic site/game! <3

Downloaded mere hours ago, I found this site through Deviant Art by an artist after searching 'deer'. I was hoping to find a ref for one of my characters, but I stumbled upon art of deer with humanoid faces, and in the comments it linked here. How glad I was to find this! I have been searching for quite some time for a game like this. Without the distraction of chat, without borders on the terrain, and to meet all kinds of new people in a Role Playing environment!

Being a new fan to deer and their kin, I got into them whilst studying them for an experimental project. Usually I draw canines, felines and the like [my favorite animal is a striped hyena, though a red deer is close in the running] but this is definitely a nice change. The only thing I found outstandingly difficult in drawing Cervidae and mythological beings of the like are their necks. I have yet to be able to draw the way they curve, but this game is already serving as an amazing model!

So, you know me, ramble, ramble, ramble. The point is I'm just a fawn and do not yet have an set character, though hopefully the name R.E.M. is available for use, as I have dubbed it my deer's name. xD

Just a few questions -- do I have to post a deer's ref right away? I have a symbol, but I've noticed a lot of users can use their symbol in text just like this. How do you get that? Is fanart welcome all the time, even scribbles? When, in a month, I become an adult deer, do I get to pick my deer's gender, or are they all automatically stags?

I'm sure I had more questions when I joined, but I've forgotten them now. xD School starts tomorrow and I had to go supply shopping.

I've had to get this out of my head, I know it's kinda lame.

Today was another great day :] I met another fawn and we danced and played together a lot~ I wonder who it was... I was silly and forgot to take a screen shot of their pictogram :C Oh well, maybe we'll meet again tomorrow~

So...playing on the beta...is pretty lonely. I've run into a total of 3 deer. I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it. I wish there was an option just to go back and forth between the test server and the regular one (that's how WoW did their beta testing, so you never missed out on the real game).

I think my deer is going full-grown in about 5 days. I've already started trying to plan his appearance ^^. So far I've narrowed down some of the skins/masks/antlers that I KNOW I don't want...but that still leaves a lot to play around with.

So...I'm still trying to figure out this rp thing. I'm doing okay with just the regular deer interactions as a fawn, but I know I'm missing some things. Things I might need to know once I become a young buck...like how to tell when people are angry..because everyone always seems nice and happy as far as I can tell. Or when/how/if deer are trying to fight or play-fight...I don't even know -how- to play fight. I have a feeling my deer is going to be very fawn like for a long time. ^^

I'm also interested in getting involved in the text rp that I know people are doing...I just don't know how/where they're doing it. Is it strictly on a person to person basis using messengers? What would be awesome is if someone had a chatroom that people could just have running in the background while they play...since I don't know anyone to get in a specific rp with. I'm also not much of a forum rp-er...I've never been very good at it. So, chat rp-ers give me a holler sometime, send me a message here, or you can try to get me on gchat or YIM (my screenname in both cases is hereticrick). Though, atm I'm stuck in the beta till I send an email asking to get off of it.
