Pleased to meet you, don't forget my name [Character Interaction Post]

Draak's picture
Been meaning to try to make one of these for a little while, but this would be your usual character interaction blog thing where you can interact with any of my deer (since getting inforest can be a pain sometimes, also timezones).

Here you can:

Send any of my deer an ask/question/bla. I MIGHT draw these out but not sure yet.
You can also ask their human versions things too.
Questions can be as silly or as serious as you like.

Have minor rp things.

Other interactiony things I can't think of cos it's past midnight.

(Click pictos for bios)

Chime
Draak - My first TEF deer. He's been around a long time (not an OOC deer) has a kid and has seen and experienced a fair bit.

Aura - (Who I can't remember her text colour for) Daughter to Draak and Mitra, she's your average little kid and will talk your ear off about whatever is on her mind at that point in time.

Corvus
Corvus - Second TEF deer of mine, has also seen and experienced a lot in his time. Is slowly coming out of a deep depression and isn't too great when it comes to being social.

Chime
Chime - Miss Fusspot/Motherly of the year. She's pretty much like Mrs Weasley. She'll welcome you with open arms, but try to walk all over her and she won't take any of it. Just ask Helel's Jareth

Kostya
Kostya - he is Kostya and he likes the blueberries Will sing for you at the tiniest of hints. Kostya's like a friendly dog; always willing to play and give cuddles but will also simply flop and be quiet company.

Christian
Christian - When not being an awkward TEF deer, he's your typical English gentleman with a side of dork. Also a huge music buff. He also kills people to live.

Jehoel
Jehoel - He's still a WIP but I think I have just enough to be able to include him here. Either way it'll help his development. A Cherubim, second ranked Angel after the Seraphim. He's pretty chill lol and laid back, most likely won't preach the word of God to you, he knows others tend to find it irritating. Also likes tea

??? Bio
??? - Also a WIP. The timespace deer thing who's literally half a skeleton half living being. He's still being ironed out but he's rather mischevious with a bit of morbidity.

He watched Ross draw into the dirt, adding his own ship to the not-fleet. "I'd imagine so, several years possibly. I'm unsure just how much of it would still be constructed by humans. Machines can build bits and pieces these days."
Christian chuckled. "Haha yeah, practice makes perfect, or so they say." He hadn't thought about using the transformation spells. "...I forgot about those."
Echosong's picture

"So machines can do that kind

"So machines can do that kind of stuff now? Ha, are there machines that build more machines?" That was a funny idea. There could be machines that built machines that built machines... and so on.

"Mhm. They can be handy. Or you could just shapeshift if you're able to." Ross grinned mischievously, and an instant later there was a raven where he'd been a moment before. "...Like so." He laughed, fluffing his feathers.
Draak's picture

"Yeah actually." He mused.

"Yeah actually." He mused. "These machines are faster and more precise compared to a human doing the same thing. Course it's not all done by machine, humans still control them."

Christian was surprised to see Ross transform. It was unexpected, but he gave an amused laugh. "That's a nice trick." He grinned. "Sadly I lack shapeshifting skills, bit strange I suppose, considering the whole vampire bat association and whatnot."
Echosong's picture

(ajdfjdjk so sorry for the delay! ;; )

"Hm. Still, it's impressive."

He laughed, his voice slightly hoarse now that he was a raven, and fluttered about. Such a show-off. "Aw. That's too bad." Ross said, a little disappointed. "I bet I could be a bat. Haven't tried it before though..." Scattering feathers, he promptly turned into a bat. A very fluffy bat. "Ack! Too bright!" He squeaked, hurriedly covering his eyes. And shifted back to a raven.
Draak's picture

(It's ok, I just figured New Years stuff happened O: )

He watched Ross flutter around, continuing to give an amused grin. "Ah, yeah. I imagine it could be a bit of fun, though I have no idea what I would actually do with said form. So it's no real big loss?" Christian gave a shrug, he guessed he could use it to sneak around, and it would probably make hunting a bit easier. That alongside playing tricks on his friends, not that he didn't do that anyway.
"Oh?" Raven Ross was suddenly replaced by a tiny fuzzball of a bat and Christian gave another amused laugh. "Were you taught how to do that? Or was it just something that came naturally?"
Echosong's picture

Ross shrugged. "Comes

Ross shrugged. "Comes naturally. Sometimes it just happens, even if I don't mean t' do it." Like when he'd somehow turned himself into a rabbit precisely at the worst possible time to be a rabbit- when Unathi was angry at him. Christian had probably seen that particular incident.
Draak's picture

"Oh, I see. I suppose that

"Oh, I see. I suppose that could be considered both good and bad." In the first few years of being a vampire things hadn't exactly come naturally, he lacked a sire to properly teach him his skills and had to rely heavily on research and trial and error.
Echosong's picture

He nodded, frowning and

He nodded, frowning and shuffling his hooves in the grass. "Yeah. Magic gets a bit confusing sometimes. And it's.. dangerous.. I mean, I could accidentally hurt someone if it gets out of control... I don't mean to though." The buck fidgeted, reminded all too well of the incident a few weeks ago.
Draak's picture

Christian could sympathise

Christian could sympathise with Ross on that one, in the past he lived with constant worry and fear of the unknown of his abilities. The first experiences of bloodlust had him paranoid, not knowing why he had an inkling to attack his family. He never did, but it still wasn't a nice experience.
"It's alright, in a way...kind of, uh. Everyone has to start somewhere right? Even if it is a bit shaky." He knew that others generally didn't take it well if their friends and relatives were attacked, even if it was an accident. He wasn't sure what to say, since it was bad but it wouldn't be Ross's fault since he was still learning. "Do you have a place to practice?
Echosong's picture

"Um.. sort of? Not really. I

"Um.. sort of? Not really. I haven't really practiced much, only when nobody's around. There's only here and.. another place I can visit, and I might hurt people in both of them if I tried to practice. There's too many people here, so someone might find out, or get hurt." And in Krummavisur's realm he couldn't practice because then the bear king would know precisely what he could do and then take advantage of that, he thought to himself, unconsciously tugging on the arrowhead necklace around his neck. "I could practice magic, I think. But not the.. other thing.. that happens... you saw that, I think. "
Draak's picture

"Oh." He said, slightly

"Oh." He said, slightly disheartened. But some things couldn't be helped sometimes. "Ah...Yes." He still remembered the Myling transformation. He wasn't sure how easy something like that would be to control, he knew that it varied depending on the being and their species. "I guess we pulled the short straws when it comes to beasty things." Christian gave a small smile, trying to make light of the situation.
Echosong's picture

"Heh. Yeah, I guess we did."

"Heh. Yeah, I guess we did." Ross ruefully smiled back, brushing a glossy feather from his fur with a sigh. He then forced himself to put on a more determined expression and push away the thoughts of 'attacks' and various scenarios of things going wrong. It would do him no good to mope about and feel sorry for himself. "Well, I'll find a way to figure it out. Somehow."
Draak's picture

(I think this is it for this

(I think this is it for this one? I dunno where else it can go D: )

Christian gave a positive hum, he was sure Ross would figure it out sooner or later. "I've no doubt, and it's not like you will run out of time." He gave a quiet chuckle, both of them had literally all the time in the world to do things.

Probably Aura Jehoel or maybe Kostya.

Only thing to worry about

Only thing to worry about with Jehoel would be Elliot's possession. However, he is unaware of it and the demon is dormant. It only gives him a faint vibe of darkness. Though it rouses slightly when it detects other demons or when serious attempts are made on Elliot's mind. But Elliot himself is very passive and compassionate.
Draak's picture

Oh yeah, I forgot about that

Oh yeah, I forgot about that nglkadnf. If I was to rp Jehoel with him, he'd probably pick up on it, though wouldn't do anything unless the situation became hostile.
Jehoel won't attack demons (or in this case possession) because they're demons mostly due to him giving beings chances, and also considering angels are a minority inforest, he wouldn't risk the chance of being mobbed by a bunch of demons technically he'd be able to take them on easy, but this is TEF

But it's up to you who you choose.

I'll make a thing when you're feeling better B) just prod me on here about it.

Bela was napping in the shade

Bela was napping in the shade of a large tree. It wasn't sunny out, the thick clouds preventing the sun from showing its bright face, so he wasn't worried about being burned. His long, serpentine neck was curled around his body, the black, iridescent scales shimmering slightly.
Draak's picture

Christian had been either

Christian had been either cruising around the ruins, or sitting in the little alcove known as the "vampfort" as he usually did when he didn't feel like going out and observing the inhabitants of the forest.
He stopped abruptly in the middle of his slow wander. He sensed something, it was different to his usual awareness of beings around him. It was a sense he rarely felt, knowing only of two others in his life.
No...surely not.
He turned, his green-blue eyes looking around as he slowly and quietly closed in on the being. It's source was big, and black. For a moment he pursed his lips out of slight apprehension, but his intruigue pushed him on.
He'd found another like himself.

The sound of hoof steps

The sound of hoof steps roused him from his nap, pale lilac eyes opening. He could feel the other's presence, and it was a rather uncommon one. He didn't meet to many of his kind here, but it was always nice to meet other being like him. His head rose, the scales on his neck dancing with blues, greens, and pinks as he moved to face the creature. A black aura. All vampires had a black aura, but they varied like non-vampire beings. He saw no maliciousness in the newcomer's, and to his surprise, a day walker, the bright, pale gold streak within his aura signaling this.

"It is not often I meet another of my kind," Bela said, his ancient accent thick, and his voice deep and gentle.
Draak's picture

Christian watched the other

Christian watched the other rouse themselves from laying down to look over at him. He figured they were like him, sharing the ability to sense their own kind. It seemed to be a fairly common thing found in vampires.
He slowly moved forwards, coming to the realisation that if the other was any threat he may have made it clear already, but he still wasn't too sure. Christian lacked the ablity to "read" others.

His ears sprung up when he spoke and he gave a quiet, amused laugh. "...Likewise" Christian gave a slight bow on his head in greeting. "I have seen a large variety of beings here, but our kind seems to be in the minority." He wasn't sure whether or not to find it odd, considering vampires could be solitary or found in fair sized numbers in covens.

Bela nodded at the other, "It

Bela nodded at the other, "It seems so." Then slowly rose to his hooves, his height fully revealed. "I am Bela," he said, lowering his head as he bowed. It was nice to not meet a malicious vampire. Some seemed to have an air of civility about them, but it was a mere facade. But not this one. "It has been a while since I have met a day walker," Bela said with a smile.

@NikaGika Christian watched

@NikaGika
Christian watched as Bela finally stood up, towering over him. He maintained his composure even though on the inside he was just that bit intimidated by the height of the other.
"Pleased to meet you, Mine's Christian." Chrisitan wondered if there was a deer equivalent of shaking hands.

Bela's next words did however make him cringe slightly and made him feel slightly guilty, he hadn't met another who could walk around in the sun like he could and he always worried about other vampires feeling jealous of said ability. "Oh ah.." Christian turned his head behind him briefly, wondering if he'd accidentally wandered through a stray sunbeam that had snuck through the otherwise overcast sky. He turned back to face Bela, he was relieved that Bela didn't seem bothered by the fact."...yes I...I am yet to find another who can."

===================

@Acurna
Laughing out loud
Alright I think I'll make a post on here.

Jehoel was lazily lounging on what was known as the "altar" of the ruins. Quietly milling over prior events, somewhat lost in thought. He stretched while remaning seated, having been sitting for a while. His burning "skin" not cracking or crumbling as he did so. It was deceptive, not as hot or crumbly like coals at first glance. However if he wished he could eliminate the deception and become a walking inferno.
Inbetween his thoughts he watched deer wander, come and go as they pleased about the ruins.
Acurna's picture

@Draak Another nightmare had

@Draak

Another nightmare had ended not too long ago, the vestiges of sleep still clung to a fairly beleaguered behemoth. Elliot drug his antlers offer the ground in a sort of sweeping motion as he swept about for food. If it were not for his sleep deprivation, he could be considered in peak physical condition. However, as his body suffered, his mental defenses were far lower, allowing his senses to be more easily tricked. He witnessed black roses sprouting from the ground, blooming to reveal mouths similar to lampreys, reaching for him. The trees curved and seemed to grasp for him. But right now, he was to tired to care. Real or not, plants were not his main threat. He swung his leg to the side, hoof passing through one of the roses that was attempting to bite him. A heave escaped him as the illusion shattered for now. But Elliot had been barely aware of his surroundings as he moved forward and found his leg dragging over a tombstone. A grunt escaped the stag as he lifted his leg higher and delicately stepped over it, feeling fairly awkward now, as he did know what it was. While the ruins seemed out of place here, they were familiar to him in a way. Different shapes, different architecture, but he was familiar with great stone buildings.
Draak's picture

@Acurna He continued to

@Acurna

He continued to watch the deer come and go, going about their daily business. Even though he wore a mask that covered his entire face, or covered what would have been the location of his face, he could still see perfectly well.
He watched deer come round, dance, get angry, play with fawns, or just plain old be noisy. However one lumbering giant caught his attention, the giant stag seemed to groggily heave himself around, as if just woken up or was a zombie. Jehoel watched them fumble about the tombstones as he did so something began to nag at the back of his mind, it was a familiar but dark presence, one he knew all too well considering what he was and what the majority of inhabitants of this forest seemed to be.

Demonic.

Jehoel shrugged it off, his Ophanim probably would have yelled at him at this point for ignoring a demonic presence but he wouldn't have cared regardless, he'd learned to not judge books by their covers.

"...Sleepwalking is probably not the greatest of things to do around here." He said lightheartedly. His voice was clear yet rather mellow.
Acurna's picture

The heavy crown still hung

The heavy crown still hung fairly low as he sniffed the ground idly. A voice registered and his head lifted up fairly fast, almost catching his tines on the stones about him. He pawed the ground and turned his head to the side a bit, adjusting his stance. Elliot was a bit tense as he took in the form of the other male. The mask hid what he assumed was a human face, given how flat it was. But that was not what he found most concerning. It was the appearance of embers upon his pelt. It took a few moments, but eventually, he found his voice, deep as it may have been, the tones were still riddled with fatigue. "I would not call it sleep walking, but I am indeed tired and to an extent careless. I am sorry to have disturbed you." His head lowered, even with his back as he took a few, careful steps back. WHile the other's tone may have been light, Elliot's behavior was always in an attempt to dissuade any conceivable form of confrontation.
Draak's picture

"Ah it's alright...no big

"Ah it's alright...no big deal" Jehoel said in response to his apology. "...afterall there's some deer out there who really like to make themselves heard." If he could, he would have given an amused grin.
He continued to be a somewhat lazy loaf on the Ruin's "altar", continuing to watch the other deer. "....have a rough night or something?" He asked, still mellow.
Acurna's picture

Elliot listened tentatively,

Elliot listened tentatively, but saw no need to respond. Rather, he remained silent and a bit tense. The fiery exterior certainly put the stag off. Reminded him of the flaming constructs summoners would conjure in his home. He wondered if there was any correlation between them. It seemed unlikely. Thus far, Nome seemed like they would fit in within any province of Tamriel. The male before him was no exception. "I suppose that would be the easiest way to put it. I may have slept twelve hours in the last week if I am being generous upon my estimate," he replied. The bull was a very honest creature. He believed he had nothing to hide, after all.
Draak's picture

Jehoel was used to having

Jehoel was used to having others be wary of him, afterall he did look like a burning piece of coal. Sometimes he wondered if the residents of this forest mistook him as a demon.
He was slightly surprised by the large stags response, he wasn't expecting such a long time without proper sleep, maybe a sleepless night but not a whole week.
"A week? No wonder...have you done anything for it?" He wasn't entirely sure what to say, as this wasn't the human world and he couldn't recommend anything "human" to aid him. Jehoel may have been Angelic, but he was no herbalist.

"It is a pleasure to meet

"It is a pleasure to meet you," the pale one said with a gentle smile. He noticed the change in the other's aura as he mentioned him being a day walker. Fear. Nervousness. "It is a very rare ability. I have yet to discover why some do. But, I have also met others who could, but were different species of vampire than I."
Draak's picture

Bela was correct and on the

Bela was correct and on the inside Christian felt a bit sheepish. The ability to go out in the sun without any bad repercussions was a rare thing, he only knew of one other he'd rather not mention or think about; the one who'd turned him.
He looked to the ground for a moment. "...you have met others who are able to do that?" Christian was intruiged, he too was aware of the different types of vampire. Back in his homeworld there wasn't just one kind of vampire, but several, each having similar or different traits.

"Yes," Bela said, "I wonder

"Yes," Bela said, "I wonder if it is a trait that is passed through the transformation, or if it is the individual that has something within them that brings it out if they are bitten." The vampire smiled at the younger.
Draak's picture

"Mine was...Mine was gained

"Mine was...Mine was gained from the transformation." He admitted, he figured he might as well mention it. "...so the idea being that if humans had some kind of...vampire blueprint inside them? And that determined their abilities?" He said, theorising.
Acurna's picture

(I'm so damn lame. I forget

(I'm so damn lame. I forget everything)

Elliot turned tired eyes over the strangely colored, seemingly smoldering creature. Eyes focused on the alien features, not quite sure what to make of them. How could he judge any sort of emotions? He already had trouble with the numerous human faced creatures and the canines. This was entirely new. Perhaps it did not make expressions? He could not pick up on any. He looked off tot he side a bit and shrugged his heavy shoulders. "There is very little to be done for nightmares." Despite the fact that there was a subconscious darker presence squirming being so close to this being, Elliot felt somewhat more relaxed, unaware that his plaguing darkness had receded somewhat for a brief moment. It gave him minor pain, but tranquility within his mind. He felt at liberty to disclose some details. "I have had some form of night terror since I was a child But it has intensified since my arrival in this endless forest. I wake up and feel sore, as if my body is trying to reenact the imagined upon my flesh." What could it hurt to disclose any details? It was not as if he felt his well being was of much value at this point. He considered his life significantly shortened since being here with the way he was declining.
Draak's picture

(It's ok, I don't mind. We

(It's ok, I don't mind. We had that other rp thingy too.)

Jehoel thought Elliot was correct, there wasn't a lot that could be done about nightmares. Messing with another beings mind could have dire consequences, it would be very easy for something to go wrong and leave whoever it was in a condition much worse than before. The Cherub had his healing powers, but they couldn't aid the subconscious. "That'd be true....messing round with the whole subconscious mind and mind in general is dangerous if you aren't experienced."

He watched the weary deer speak, his dirty white ears listening intently, moving slightly as Jehoel thought about what the other had said. He wondered if the minor demonic presence he'd picked up on that was residing in Elliot was reacting to the numerous other packs of demons that highly frequented the forest. He wouldn't be at all surprised if that was the case. However he didn't really feel like abruptly bringing it up, not to mention he wouldnt know how well his companion would take it. "Since you were small?" He felt sorry for him, while Jehoel didn't have to sleep, but most of the beings here or outside of the forest depended on it. "....Does it have good and bad days? Or well, days where it's worse? or is it a constant thing?" He wondered if it reacted to just how many demons were in forest at whatever time.

"H-Hullo.." Ross's voice was

"H-Hullo.." Ross's voice was tense, and the little buck seemed high-strung and anxious. His eyes kept darting back in the direction of a certain predator that had vanished into the distance a while ago.
The myling's appalling condition was quite evident; though one of his forelegs had been splinted, he was bleeding slightly in a few places, and one or two of his legs looked to be at slightly awkward angles. On the whole, he looked much frailer than when Christian had last seen him.
Draak's picture

Christian had only just seen

Christian had only just seen Ross for the first time in a while only a day ago, being his usual, if not more excited self. He too was happy to have seen his friend again. So he was certainly caught off guard when he had found Ross in the state he was in.
"Good...day" He replied, somewhat awkwardly considering it probably wasn't exactly good for Ross.
He looked over in the distance at the deer his companion had been glancing at, although he figured it couldn't have been whoever they were just due to the lack of evidence.

"What on earth happened?" Christian asked as he sat down, he wondered if Ross was the forests resident punching bag, since it wasn't the first time he'd seen Ross beat up.

(Christian and Ross are somehow attracting annoying deer I dont even)
Echosong's picture

"I, um.. There was a big f-fight. A bunch of people were trying t' hurt Ramsus.. I dunno if you know him- a really, really big ram? Red n' black. With t-teeth. Ross had to pause to gulp for air, since his broken ribs were keeping him from breathing properly. 'N I tried t' help him, cause I'm friends with Jhorla. His kid. But he d-doesn't like me. At all. So.. so he..." His explanation was rushed, and might seem incoherent to anyone with poor hearing. The myling stopped to catch his breath again, then sighed and lowered his head to the ground. "I just wanted to help." He murmured faintly.
Draak's picture

"I can't say I've seen such

"I can't say I've seen such a...uh..sheep? He wasn't sure what to call the being Ross was describing. He also made a note to himself that they sounded like someone to avoid, mostly due to giant big black scary thing and because he knew a certain small friend of his would try to take them on if trouble arose and said friend would then end up looking like Ross.
He continued to listen to Ross try to recount what happened, "..I see...I can't think of any reason that would cause such resentment towards you, especially if you were only trying to help..." Although he couldn't help but wonder if it had to do with what Ross was, but then again he assumed no one else knew what he was.

Of course throughout the conversation Christian hadn't failed to notice Ross struggling, but he was clueless as to how to help him, he himself hadn't had to have dealt with serious injury for a long time, if ever at all. It wasn't like the human world where you could just ferry someone to the hospital. "...you've got healing bits and pieces though, am I right?"
