Ah, yea, I remember that

Ah, yea, I remember that now, from seeing her bio again.

Let's see....Bastilion is more shocked. And then he couldn't get his voice to work again after that slip. He was getting a bit desperate, thinking water might help (even though it didn't before), so he rushed to the pond. Disappointment hit hard. This is why he didn't wanna get his hopes up after his throat started to feel weird a few days ago.
But little does he know, there's no need to worry. There will be a happy ending. X]

I read that roleplay actually. I was thinking that Bast would be glad their fighting is pretty much over with. He'll probably be shocked if he catches them both in the Forest at the same time and they're not fighting.

Ahh. Poor guys, but I'm glad there's a happy ending. :3 And yes, The Fawn saw him there too. She wanted to get a drink at the same time, but was too nervous about him. xD

I think he would. I'm pretty sure they won't "fight" again. And lol! I would be too. They might even be sitting together eventually! xD

I'm not mad at you. I'd say who I was annoyed with, but that would start an argument I don't want. It's why I even took my "mini-rant" down. I'll probably blow up at that person if I see any more negative crap from them though. (Wonder if they'll see this, since I can't hide it, and get the message.)

I kind of agree with you

I kind of agree with you about the rut: it doesn't even strike me as an interesting story/plot... None of my deer are involved: Seed (and Faris, but for different reasons) views himself as better then the instinct of his body.

It goes against how I like

It goes against how I like how our deer can have mates, too. I mean, the Rut is about stags fighting for a harem of does to pass on their genes to fawns. They're only together during that time, then they eventually go their separate ways.
I like having at least some human aspects to my deer since they're not normal deer anyway. Heck, even "normal-faced" Toukan isn't taking part, though he's a regular deer (as regular as an empathic reindeer who can separate his spirit from his body while he sleeps can be).
But I'm starting to rant at you. |D Sorry 'bout that.

I agree....I can see it

I agree....I can see it getting out of hand if it goes ahead...I'm waiting for things to happen like...innocent stags will get attacked because they're in some "Territory"...or (although maybe a bit extreme) a doe will get raped so to speak....
Ok it may be natural deer behaviour but...I draw the line here D:
And I also do not like the idea of parts of the forest being claimed... :\

I agree with what you said about TEF deer having more 'human' relationships. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't see my deer as being so animalistic to compete for mates and all that. It feels like it just doesn't make sense, I dunno.
Anyway. I think it's a bad idea too. I'm 95% sure that there will be a falling out if everything goes through as planned.
