Done with work training. And for some reason, my head and stomach started bothering me not long after eating during the one hour break. Wonder if the slice of pizza caused it... >>
And I almost forgot that Thanksgiving is tomorrow, despite knowing that we'll be going to my aunt's house. It really snuck up this year. O_o

First day of work tomorrow (technically later today). I don't wanna go...but I know I can do it.

At least they won't put me alone at the register at first, and my shifts are 5 hours long each day I'm there. Though extra time away from home gets added due to the bus. 8| So it's more like 7 or 8 hours.
This week's schedule:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
But I also get the Sunday after, so I'll work 4 days in a row.

BLOG POST WHY did I say I'll
WHY did I say I'll do an 8 hour shift tomorrow when it was going to be a day off?
I was asked if I could at the start of my shift, when I was feeling fine, BEFORE I started feeling blah from being on my feet for so long. At the end of my shift today, I kept wanting to cry at nothing. Even now, just typing that makes me want to cry.
What the hell is wrong with me? X_x I'm not even upset.
And I want to call work to get out of the 8 hour shift, but my dad was telling me to just go in. So I'm going in.
If I feel like THIS from 5 hours (granted, waiting for the bus added time on and I get no break due to just having 5 hours), then how will 8 affect me?
If I survive, I'm not taking any more extra hours. I'll stick with what I was originally given thank you.
No more retail after this month. I plan to keep it that way.

You can do it. <3 With eight hours you'll get at least one break. I don't know NJ's regulations, but my breaks for 8 hour shifts were always one 30 minute one and one 15 minute one later. You'll get used to it. I agree though, retail sucks... as does food service. x-x

Yea, my dad said I'll get
I should get a break in there at least. Wish I'd gotten one during the 5 hour, though. I was happy as hell to see water fountains near the bathrooms or I'd have had a headache. o_o
Making sure coats are zipped, buttoned, and have security tags on them will get old fast though. 8| Time goes faster on the register I noticed. Even though I have to deal with people, I'm about to jump at that more so it won't feel like I'm there as long.
At least my sister said she'll drive me in tomorrow.
...this is like "vent, part 2". 8D;

BLOG POST Well...4 days
Well...4 days ahead of me with 5-hour shifts each. I survived the 8-hour just fine the other day, much better than my 5-hour first day (and dare I say was in a good mood for most of it O_o), so these days should be ok.
But then, it does include the weekend...
Guess I'll just be glad all my days are from 1pm to 6pm.
Though the buses seem to get screwy on weekends this time of year. >> I get to figure them out. Yay. 8|

Eh, most I need to worry about is getting something to cushion the back of my left foot/ankle where my shoe was rubbing the skin off. Not the most comfortable, and was giving me a walk at the end of yesterday that made me think of Toukan's limp. And as much of an obsessed-with-my-own character dork I am, I'd like to avoid limping in pain, thanks. 8|
