Miyako (Mee-yah-koo) | Identity | 21.12.2013 | In her prime | Female | Wild white-tailed deer | Northern Brazil | Home
» Innocent being at birth. Grew as a naive and easily lead on adolescent leading her into countless of troubles and heartache. Traumatized as she was a victim of an assault. Her former lover took abused her both mentally and physically until the point of no return. In addition the breaking of her second family, her foster family caused her more mental trauma by disowning her at a very delicate time of her life. Being unlucky with partners she has intimacy issues and a great fear towards the male gender.
» Loves unconditionally, cares passionately. Hates brutally. She still shows submission towards many, but has shaken off the naive nature she once held. Suspicious when first meeting someone, unlikely to trust or forgive easily.
» Has taken collecting and crafting to heart as if she was to continue the legacy of her former guardian and partner. Has yet to practice crafting hoping one day she could create something magnificent.
Kenai First born biological son. Could not be there for him when he was born as she was taken from the world as we know it, was given the gift of returning when her son was already a teenager. They had hard time building their relationship and never truly managed to get close. With all the highs and lows with the boy she was incredibly proud of him and loved him to no end. Deceassed on 4th of December 2016.
Mortis Auctor Viewed as a Father and a Mentor. Deep rooted mutual connection she still feels after years of being separated. Longs for his calm presence more than anything, often seeks guidance from him even though he isn't around. Loading...
Djinn Adoptive Mother. When she was a newborn she received the greatest of care and protection from the hind, growing deeply attached to her, growing to respect and admire her. Relationship fell apart when she was disowned by the hind and her mate at the time. Miyako left burning bridges hoping to never see her face again. As time went by found herself longing for her mother's guidance and care, started mending things with her. Their bond is still in repair, mending. Loading..
Morikiah Former adoptive Father, a relationship she never managed to mend after breaking ties with him. When she was disowned by the orange male she felt great hatred and disgust towards the male, only recently understanding the male's reasoning behind his actions. Hoping to mend things with him, however cannot find the courage to track him down after so long.
Thane Her guardian, her former lover, her dream in a nightmare. Her very first infatuation, love and the reason for many of her mental issues to this day. She was physically, emotionally and mentally abused by the Craftsman and yet she found herself returning to his side time after time. The Craftsman is the very reason why she was disowned by her surrogate family as she would not let him go even when her family pledged her to. There are days when she regrets ever getting to know the male and days when she would give anything to return to him. Stockholm syndrome. Ptsd.
Nikodim Her beast, her guardian, hers. He was her first friend and first to look after her after her arrival. Cherished the beast highly, loved even. Would have done anything to gain his full attention and affections. A forbidden fruit. Greatly missed.
Neiro Father of Kenai. What started off as a friendship between a beast and a fawn turned into something deeper, on her behalf at least. Grew fond of him, loved him and believed he felt the same for her. Got pregnant with his child and not long after received the news of him and another female being an item. Bitter towards, yet misses.
Beren Best friend. A relationship she has always valued highly. At one time harbored feelings for the wolf, keeping them to herself mostly as she did not wish to disturb the dynamics of the wolf's family.
Umay Considered a friend after being rejected by the lion mother, grateful for everything she has done for. The Blue eyes would no longer breathe and walk the earth if it wasn't for her. There are no words to describe the gratitude she feels for her.
Leviathann Another strong female she looks up to, admires and is forever grateful to. Distantly respects her as she doesn't dare to approach her after all this time.
Khard Lost friendship. Once rather close with the beast, but never dared to let him as close as he would have wanted to be. Breaking the beast's heart she parted ways with him, hoping to mend things with her beast. Missed.
Maelstrom Feared. Disgusted by. Heavily disliked. His target and victim. Was nearly killed by him.

A gentle head shake was followed by a frown, what were all the numbers she kept mentioning? She opened her mouth wide open for a yawn and stretched her limbs. "Friiha.." She repeated her name to memorize it. "I'm not tired. Are you leaving?" She stood up and shook the dust off her light brown fur and looked at the tiny doe with blurry eyes.
Friiha gazed at Miyako with black voids of eyes. "You looked tired. And yes, unless you would prefer I stay." It wasn't like she had anything else to do in the forest. She recognized few, and even fewer recognized her. She hadn't been around until recently, so she understood that there would be many new faces.
"Ohh..?" She turned her gaze to the ground and then to the sleeping male beside her and decided to curl up next to him again. "If you want to leave, then. I'll stay here and rest here a while. I wouldn't be much of an entertainment right now anyway." The tone in her voice was quiet. Knowing that she had been too shy to talk to the tiny doe made her feel bad. Miyako had scanned her body, her face, everything in her to find out what she was like and how she acted and yet there were a lot of things she wasn't aware of.
Friiha nodded, watching her curl back up against the sleeping stag. A ghost of a smile appeared across the small doe's muzzle. "Mm. Goodbye, Miyako. Maybe we'll meet again." Friiha would make sure they did see each other in the near future. She turned away completely, and with a flick of her black tail, the doe traveled out of sight.
The voice of her companion made her tiny ears twitch. "H-hello." She whispered and glanced up to the one beside her. "I saw you limping. Are you alright?" The concern in her voice was real.
// Why, thank you. (:
[e:] Weird color code I had there.
"O-oh. I'm sorry, I didn't know." She muttered quietly, she was slightly embarrassed by her own ignorance. "Would you like to tell me what happened?" She peeked from the corner of her eye as she spoke. "I hadn't seen any familiar faces around to which to go.." She shrugged lightly with her ears pressed to her head.
Miayko didn't respond to her first sentence, she wasn't capable of understanding how someone would hurt another like that. "Yes. I wanted to see if you're alright and you were fascinating to me aswell." She smiled.
And just letting you know that I'll have to go pretty soon, but I will leave Morri' in the forest. I should be back soon, but Miyako is free to leave if she wishes.~
Anti: Awww. ♥ Those are just too cute. In both he seems to be looking after her, which makes them even more adorable.
Thank you so much! ♥ I'll add those to her blog as soon as I'm able to. (Most likely this evening but still. )
Appa: Daaammmnn. Someone know her way around screenshot edits. That is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you. ♥
Btw, sorry I disappeared earlier today. So much hate for the lousy connection.
Mortis chuckles warmly at the fawn's obvious embarrassment, but does not comment on it. Instead, he lifts his head to peer up at the snow falling from the sky, hiding his smiling eyes. Her seemingly endless, and impressively insightful, questions draw his attention back to Miyako. "Most humans would be a danger, yes. Not all of them, mind, but most. Even out of those who would hurt you, for many it would not be intentional. Humans do not know where to... draw the line. There are no humans here, though. I know you have no need to worry." He shivers slightly and clicks his teeth together once before continuing, gently. "The fall of an empire like Rome meant the death of many. It was an awful time for the people of Rome. For those who did not escape, however, there were those that did; myself included. I left Italy to travel the world after my beloved city fell. Then I eventually discovered this place, and I visit it often now. So pleasant here." His voice trails off into a contemplative silence as he gazes down at the fuzzy form of Miyako.
The more she knew, the more she had questions but decided to put them aside and only listen to what he has to say. Her endless adoration toward him was spiking again as her eyes were locked to him when he spoke. "No humans here? Good. I wouldn't know what to do if one crossed my path. Although I probably wouldn't recognize it so." She shrugged.
In her soft features appeared a slight and briefly fading frown whilst she tried her best to understand the concept of death. She had never witnessed it nor really paid attention to it. She was yet so young but for sure that day would eventually come. "Hmhhh.. I guess it's okay here, not that I knew about something better. There's a lot of nice creatures in this forest." Her voice turned into more enthusiastic in the end.
He smiles at Miyako's assessment of the forest. "You are right. There are many nice souls in this place, and you are one of them." He smiles and nudges her shoulder affectionately. Although his smile fades as more sinister, unwelcome thoughts come to the front of his cluttered mind. There were just as many unsavory creatures here as there were good ones. Mortis would make sure to keep them as far away from this fawn as he is able. While he may be old, and much out of practice when it comes to violence, he knows he is big enough to intimidate others out of an attack. He also knows he is big enough to serve as a shield; something he would gladly do to protect his new friend.
Shaking his head, and the rattling bad thoughts inhabiting it, he refocuses his gaze as much as possible and grins. "Perhaps we should explore this forest sometime. Find out what fun it has to offer together, yes?" Pressing his ears forward, he nods, both at Miyako and the idea of traversing the forest. His stumpy tail thumps once against the ground, giving away his uncharacteristic excitement.
She closed her eyes and puffed her chest, she was right. A quiet snuffle escaped her nose as the male nudged her. Miyako was fast enough to tug his left ear while his head was lowered to her level and she stuck her tongue out at him right after the tug. "Thank you, sir. As the matter of fact so far you're the one I feel the most comfortable and safe with. I want to thank you for being so nice to me." She flashed a brief smile even though his had already faded.
The fawn had already learned something about defending herself and some day she would be strong enough to stand her ground and make a good opponent to anyone challenging her. That day wasn't just yet.
"I'd like that. There's still so much to learn about this place. I get lost all the time and I have not been able to find a nice spot to call home yet. If I find one, it's highly unlikely for me to find it again. Do you have a certain place in this forest you call home?" She was just as excited as he was, although it wasn't new for her to be excited about something. She was so easily amused.
I took plenty of more and I'm planning on editing them tomorrow morning when I have more time.
Seeing that big ball of fluff beside her made me melt. Thank you for that. ♥
Mortis' ears flick back and he lowers his head slightly, touched by Miyako's declaration; almost even a little overwhelmed. "You are very welcome. In fact I should thank you for listening to all my rambling." He chuckles and nuzzles her, gently. "I do not have a home in this place. I am very much a wanderer. There are many little places of beauty here, though. It should not be impossible to find you a place to keep." He smiles as he thinks about her problem of not finding her way around the forest easily. "Perhaps you should start marking trees around places you would like to remember? You know your own scent, don't you? Use it to make trails." He pauses for a moment before adding with a shrug, "That is how I get around without good eyesight. I follow my own scent and the scent of others. Yours is pretty easy to follow actually. Very strong. He chuckles good-naturedly at his last teasing statement.
"I love listening to your stories, they always teach me a thing or two. " She reached up and returned the nuzzle with her eyes closed inhaling his scent. After pulling away from the nuzzle she made her way back to underneath him, rubbing her forehead to his chest. "Won't that take awfully long? Stop by every or every other tree, rub it and then keep going? Maybe it would be easier that way, though, but I am always in such a hurry. I don't know why." She knew the fact that if she was too tired she wouldn't be able to explore as much as she'd like so she moves fast from place to place.
"Really? That helps?" She tilted her head and frowned lightly. "Maybe I should start doing so, too." She paused. "Would you like to show me some places you find pretty or interesting? I should get to know this place better."
He makes a pleased hum deep in his throat at her words. "You do not know how much it pleases me to know my stories are well received." "It won't take too long. Especially at the rate you travel, young one. Perhaps you could make a game of it?" He grins at the thought of Miyako and himself running through teh forest marking trees at a breakneck pace. Just the thought of trying to keep up with the fawn makes him ache, but maybe a little aching would do him good. He laughs at the image of Miyako bounding around him, and nods slowly. "I shall have to do so, won't I? You have already seen my favorite. The view from the rock where we first talked has such a lovely view."
"A game? Hmm.. I'm listening." She grinned and wondered if the old one would keep up or not. Her movements were swift and quick, making her running look easy and elegant. "Yes, I liked the view. Although it's pretty much everything I've seen in the Birch forest. I tend to avoid that area quite a lot for some reason. The tall grass makes it even harder for me to navigate."
// Sorry for the random fleeing. I clicked something in the browser and Miy just kept running.
"Yes a game!" He laughs and does his best to follow Miyako. His large body is compact, not made for sprinting and sharp turns even in its prime. His heavy hooves tear into the frozen ground as he pounds after her. His longer legs give him a small advantage, enough that he is able to keep the fawn in sight. He laughs, old bones creaking with protest as he leaps once into the air, making a ground-shaking landing near a towering pine. He turns his attention to the tree and, rearing just enough to bring his front hooves off the ground, he slams his antlers into the tree. Pinecones rain down as he continues to rub first his antlers then ,down along his shoulders and side. "There. One tree for me!" He bounds off in the direction of the pond taking into account her dislike of the birch. "Come on! All this running is making me thirsty. We can mark our way to the pond." Pausing to look over his shoulder at Miyako he tosses his head in the direction of the forest's water source.
// Sorry for the sudden disappearance last night. At my grandmother's, and the connection isn't really stable enough for the forest. Replying to this on my phone actually haha
Her ears perked up and eyes shining yet again the little one ran after the older one swiftly bouncing up and landing without making even the smallest sound. She stopped her sprinting as she noticed her companion had already marked a tree. Slightly pouting the fawn circled the tree rubbing her sides against it, making the tree hers. "Mineminemineminemine.." She mumbled the whole time whilst circling the tree with a determined expression upon her soft features.
When she was finished her ears twitched. "Sure. I'm rather thirsty myself. Let's go."
She giggled and ran pass him and stuck her tongue out at him, she had just challenged him to a race. Who was the first one at the Pond wins.
// I thought it was something like that so it's okay. I had lots of fun while he was around, though.
"Speedy little rascal!" he laughs and trots after Miyako, lagging behind quite a bit and still stopping to rub trees along the way. He is still chuckling when he arrives at the pond, splashing noisily into the water until it reaches his chest, letting it chill his joints and keep any aching at bay. He then dips his head until his mask fills with water, slurping noisily. After drinking his fill, he lifts his head and waded, dripping back into the shallow waters near the shore. "Much better." He looks up at the hill bearing the two glowing statues of the gods. "Lets pay the Gods a visit, yes?"
The little one was already at the Pond rubbing her side against the willow tree by it. She waited for him to come there, too, before she'd take a drink. At her first day she had almost drowned and so she was terrified of water. She stood at the surface of the Pond, dipping her hoof into the water cold as ice. Her eyes were closed.
The fear took over her and she backed away from it with her tail between her legs, face red from embarrassment. Every time the fear hit her even though she thought she had got over it. "Can we go now?" She whimpered as she held her head low and peeked at him from the corner of her eye. "Yes! Let's go." She lifted her head up fast without knowing where they actually were going but any place would be better than this right now.
Miyako's frightened tone causes a deep frown to crease the stag's brown. Guessing at once what the source of her fear is, he turns around and lowers his head until he is at eye level with her. "Miyako, I will never let you drown." His tone is not mocking, he is honest and sincere, his gaze looking focused and intense for once. With some effort he let's his expression relax and says softly, "But of course we can leave if you wish." Mortis nuzzles her silky head before turning towards the steep, snow-dusted hill. With a sigh he begins his trudging journey up the hill, glancing over his shoulder to be sure the young doe is following him.
She knew for sure he wouldn't let her drown, neither did the friendly doe she was with that day. Her gaze met his only for a moment before she turned hers away. "I know you won't. A-and if we c-could come here a-another day again, I c-could try getting into the w-water." She stuttered as she spoke and her gaze wandered from one place to another. "If that's okay." She whispered in addition.
Miyako reached up to return the nuzzle and followed him right behind him and as she walked she tried to catch the tip of his tail between her teeth. "Who are these Gods anyway?" A question she made in the middle of her difficult task.
Still plowing up the hill he looks over his shoulder at her and smiles, "Of course we can come back, but you don't have to get into the water if you do not wish to. One must have something to drink every day. It is what is healthy.
Hey!" He flicks his tail in her face, chuckling and increases his pace to hopefully put some distance between Miyako and his pitiful little tail. "They are known to me and my people as Diana and Apollo. They are the goddess of the moon and the god of the sun. They are the creators of this forest." He trudges ever faster, until he reaches the summit where he slows to a purposeful stride. Making his way forward until he is only a few feet from the glowing stone idols, he bows respectfully. Then, after standing to cast a hesitant glance at Miyako, he turns back to the stones and lowers his head until the tip of his mask nearly touches the frosty ground. He whispers an incomprehensible incantation that releases his head from his mask and the bone falls to the ground, revealing the human-like features beneath. He turns briefly to smile sheepishly at the fawn. His feature are strong and noble, but lined with age. Yet, for every scar there is also a laugh line.
He straightens to his full height and steps forward, leaning out to press his forehead against the idol nearest him. For a moment, he freezes, but it passes quickly and he steps away with a pleased hum, using a hoof to drag the mask back with him.
Chuckling, he turns to Miyako to murmur, "They are pleased to have you make your first visit to them. I think they have been waiting to see you."
// Ugh sorry that took so long. Had it all typed out and ready, then the page didn't load correctly and it all got deleted.
"Good. Some day I will be brave enough to swim in that cold liquid without the fear of drowning. I promise." Her words were followed by a determined nod to confirm her promise. It wasn't that she promised that to him, she did it for herself. Life would be a lot easier if she didn't have to struggle with getting a sip of water every now and then.
She kept her silence and increased her pace as well, still trying to catch his tail again. For some reason she had started to like teasing him. She never meant any harm with it, just playful sign of great affection.
Miyako followed his lead and gave the Gods a bow. After she stood back up she had no idea what was supposed to be done next. She muttered a few words and took a step back. "W-wow.. They must be powerful and wise if they created a place like this." She whispered as her chest was filled with a warm feeling, she felt someone's gaze upon them. The Gods were really watching over them.
For a brief moment the fascination upon her face changed, she was startled by his face. She never thought there was something underneath his skull. Soon her expression was warmer, he was handsome.
"Really?" Her voice was bright. "Please, tell them I'm sorry for not showing up earlier. I wasn't.. aware of this place yet."
//That definitely sucks. No need to apologize, though. It takes ages for me to reply as well. Haha.
"That they are." He chuckles, leaning down to maneuver the skull by his feet until it is back in its proper place, then murmurs the same incantation as before. The skull creaks ominously before seeming to tighten slightly around his head. He stands up straight and shakes his head a bit, but the mask stays attached. He gives a pleased hum as he turns to face Miyako. "You can tell them yourself. Just because you cannot see their ears does not mean they cannot hear you." He smiles encouragingly down at her.
Every move he made was recorded by her mind, she tried to figure out what he was doing there, what he said there. She shook her head lightly as a gesture of giving up, she'd think that through later. "They can? " A frown appeared upon her features as she tilted her head and wagged her tail enthusiastically. "But I don't even know what to say to them." One could see how eager she was to try and see what happened, but a part of her told her not to. She didn't want to seem foolish.
She sighed and bowed once again glancing at the male. "I'm.. sorry I haven't visited you. If I only had known where to find you, I would have. I hope you accept my apology." She mumbled and straightened her back again and nodded. Then she turned her gaze back to the male like she was asking if she did it right.
"There. I'm sure they're very happy now that you've come to see them. I can't help the feeling that they are very fond of this place and the creatures in it.
Well done, Miyako." He grins and pats the top of her head gently. Then he straightens up and gazes around. "Where would you like to go next? Why don't you lead me somewhere?" He wags his tail a bit and presses his ears forward, waiting.
"I hope they are. I wouldn't want to disappoint such noble ones." She glanced at him with a wide smile upon her face, she was proud of herself for doing so. "Ehh.. Let me think. I don't know many places here." Her ears pressed to her head and a thoughtful expression upon her features she thought what would be her favorite place at the moment.
Her eyes flashed open and her ears perked up. "Come." She shouted whilst she was already running as fast as she could.
Beside The Red hill there was patches of red poppies and blue flowers, the smell of the place was beyond words. To be more specific, a patch of blue flowers where the sun light touched the ground and a log was lying around was her favorite spot. Only problem was would she be able to find it again. She stopped for a while to scan the environment with her eyes to be sure she was going to the right direction. At the same time she glanced over her shoulder to see if Mortis was following her.
Then she was running toward her place.
// Sorry. Connection died and now I can't get the pictos to spread.

// Ugh sorry that took so long. Had it all typed out and ready, then the page didn't load correctly and it all got deleted.
"Good. Some day I will be
She kept her silence and increased her pace as well, still trying to catch his tail again.
Haha.
"That they are." He chuckles,
"You can tell them yourself. Just because you cannot see their ears does not mean they cannot hear you." He smiles encouragingly down at her.

She sighed and bowed once again glancing at the male. "I'm.. sorry I haven't visited you. If I only had known where to find you, I would have. I hope you accept my apology." She mumbled and straightened her back again and nodded. Then she turned her gaze back to the male like she was asking if she did it right.
"There. I'm sure they're very
Well done, Miyako." He grins and pats the top of her head gently. Then he straightens up and gazes around. "Where would you like to go next? Why don't you lead me somewhere?" He wags his tail a bit and presses his ears forward, waiting.
"I hope they are. I wouldn't
Wow, this is really gorgeous.
Mmh. Thank you for your kind
Not a problem, haha. (:
