Previously; Witnessed the death of her son, unpredictable and needy. Seeking comfort and company.

Miyako (Mee-yah-koo) | Identity | 21.12.2013 | In her prime | Female | Wild white-tailed deer | Northern Brazil | Home

» Innocent being at birth. Grew as a naive and easily lead on adolescent leading her into countless of troubles and heartache. Traumatized as she was a victim of an assault. Her former lover took abused her both mentally and physically until the point of no return. In addition the breaking of her second family, her foster family caused her more mental trauma by disowning her at a very delicate time of her life. Being unlucky with partners she has intimacy issues and a great fear towards the male gender.

» Loves unconditionally, cares passionately. Hates brutally. She still shows submission towards many, but has shaken off the naive nature she once held. Suspicious when first meeting someone, unlikely to trust or forgive easily.

» Has taken collecting and crafting to heart as if she was to continue the legacy of her former guardian and partner. Has yet to practice crafting hoping one day she could create something magnificent.

Kenai First born biological son. Could not be there for him when he was born as she was taken from the world as we know it, was given the gift of returning when her son was already a teenager. They had hard time building their relationship and never truly managed to get close. With all the highs and lows with the boy she was incredibly proud of him and loved him to no end. Deceassed on 4th of December 2016.

Mortis Auctor Viewed as a Father and a Mentor. Deep rooted mutual connection she still feels after years of being separated. Longs for his calm presence more than anything, often seeks guidance from him even though he isn't around. Loading...
Djinn Adoptive Mother. When she was a newborn she received the greatest of care and protection from the hind, growing deeply attached to her, growing to respect and admire her. Relationship fell apart when she was disowned by the hind and her mate at the time. Miyako left burning bridges hoping to never see her face again. As time went by found herself longing for her mother's guidance and care, started mending things with her. Their bond is still in repair, mending. Loading..
Morikiah Former adoptive Father, a relationship she never managed to mend after breaking ties with him. When she was disowned by the orange male she felt great hatred and disgust towards the male, only recently understanding the male's reasoning behind his actions. Hoping to mend things with him, however cannot find the courage to track him down after so long.

Thane Her guardian, her former lover, her dream in a nightmare. Her very first infatuation, love and the reason for many of her mental issues to this day. She was physically, emotionally and mentally abused by the Craftsman and yet she found herself returning to his side time after time. The Craftsman is the very reason why she was disowned by her surrogate family as she would not let him go even when her family pledged her to. There are days when she regrets ever getting to know the male and days when she would give anything to return to him. Stockholm syndrome. Ptsd.
Nikodim Her beast, her guardian, hers. He was her first friend and first to look after her after her arrival. Cherished the beast highly, loved even. Would have done anything to gain his full attention and affections. A forbidden fruit. Greatly missed.
Neiro Father of Kenai. What started off as a friendship between a beast and a fawn turned into something deeper, on her behalf at least. Grew fond of him, loved him and believed he felt the same for her. Got pregnant with his child and not long after received the news of him and another female being an item. Bitter towards, yet misses.
Beren Best friend. A relationship she has always valued highly. At one time harbored feelings for the wolf, keeping them to herself mostly as she did not wish to disturb the dynamics of the wolf's family.
Umay Considered a friend after being rejected by the lion mother, grateful for everything she has done for. The Blue eyes would no longer breathe and walk the earth if it wasn't for her. There are no words to describe the gratitude she feels for her.
Leviathann Another strong female she looks up to, admires and is forever grateful to. Distantly respects her as she doesn't dare to approach her after all this time.
Khard Lost friendship. Once rather close with the beast, but never dared to let him as close as he would have wanted to be. Breaking the beast's heart she parted ways with him, hoping to mend things with her beast. Missed.
Maelstrom Feared. Disgusted by. Heavily disliked. His target and victim. Was nearly killed by him.

"Little one," Mortis says

"Little one," Mortis says softly. His tone is affectionate, but regretful. " I... haven't been here for you. I can only hope that you have been well in my absence. Are you well?"

The doe was more than happy

The doe was more than happy to see him again, it was like a burden was taken away from her shoulders. There were many whose loyalty she had doubted, there were many she could no longer trust. Miyako still believed in Mortis. "Father." She replied with a broken voice. "You are here now and that is what matters." She nodded trying to avoid eye contact with him, her eyes were red from crying. "I am okay, I am. What about you? How are you?" She flashed a brief smile and peeked at him from the corner of her eye.

Mortis sags in relief at

Mortis sags in relief at Miyako's acceptance. He steps forward to embrace his daughter, smiling broadly beneath his helmet. At the sound of her voice however, he stops short and squints blearily at her, cursing his failing sight for keeping him from noticing her distress. "I have experienced nothing I could not handle. I am not sure that is the case with you, though, my dear. What concerns you? I may be blind, but I am not senseless." He smiles softly at her, encouraging.

The doe may be all grown up

The doe may be all grown up by now but there is nothing that could beat the embrace from her father. She would never be too old to be a daddy's girl. Never. Miyako buried her face into his fur and pressed herself against him. Safety. Finally. True safety. "Nothing.. And everything." She replied under her breath, she wasn't sure if he could hear her. She was talking into his fur anyway. It had been only a few days since she had returned the forest, and everything was already fucked up. "It will be alright, just promise me you will be there. Promise." Her voice broke before she could properly say the last word.

A beleaguered sigh hisses

A beleaguered sigh hisses from the stag's mouth as he rubs his chin back and forth comfortingly on his daughter's neck. It really had been a long time since he had seen her. A frown creases his brow as he strains to hear the doe's mumbled words. He presses his face closer against her neck and lets a deep hum thrum up his throat, evidence of his worry.
Miyako's request sends a pang of guilt through his chest and Mortis flinches slightly, ears flicking back. Stability was foreign to the stag. He almost never stayed in a place for very long due to his agelessness. The fact that he had formed such a bond with Miyako in the first place was strange. Her desperation seems to ignite his instinct to flee. To distance himself from her so that the pain would be less when time eventually took her from him. He flounders for a moment, jaw working before he is stricken with sudden resolve. He pulls away from her and focuses his gaze on her face. Deadly serious he murmurs, "Little one I do not often stay in one place for very long. You have experienced this first hand and for that I am sorry. I tell you now that I will make an effort to be here for you. It has been centuries since I have had someone to look after and I am sorely out of practice. But for you, I will try. I will try my very hardest."

During the evening the doe

During the evening the doe had cried tears of bitterness and hatred. Not one thing seemed to go right, around every corner a bad decision waited for her. Now the doe cried those tears for a whole another reason. She was able to let her guard down and just let the emotions run free in a safe environment. She was thankful for him to show up just the right time. That was one of the reasons she had never stopped believing in him. He was there when she needed it the most and he would return to her sooner or later. "Just stay with me until the morning, that's all I am asking." She nodded lightly, she understood what he said to her and she already knew that she couldn't expect him to be there every hour of every day. It was fine with her, but now she just needed him to be there for her, just for a moment. Soon enough the tears wouldn't run down her cheeks anymore. She would be able to breath normally again. Still, she inched forward to lean on the male.
Life has been throwing rocks on her path quite a lot in these past few days and the doe was mentally exhausted, the main reason why she left this place and traveled was the amount of stress she got while being here. "Thank you for finding me."

____

I need to go to sleep now, it's over 3am here. :'DD I will reply in the morning once I wake up. c:

As she begins to cry Mortis

As she begins to cry Mortis kisses her forehead sympathetically. "Oh, child. I will stay with you for as long as you like." He settles himself then, solid and stable as a rock. With an air of determination and paternity not often found in the aging stag. He grooms the doe until the tears cease falling and her breathing evens, content to stay there with her leaning on him. Her dependence on him brought a certain calming affect to him.
In a voice that speaks of absolute finality Mortis whispers, "I will always find you."

_______
Hah, alright ^^ I'll probably be able to get back to you tomorrow afternoon.

The doe had closed her eyes

The doe had closed her eyes when her father placed a kiss on her forehead, a faint smile visited her soft features very briefly. With great affection she started to nibble the fur on his chest partly because she wanted to give back something to Mortis and partly because it helped her calm down and relax even more. Another smile appeared upon her face, this time it lasted for a little bit longer moment. She lifted her head up a bit, so that she could rub her forehead underneath his chin. "And that's why I will always love you, father." Miyako didn't mind the feeling she had felt too many times now, she felt like a young child again. But this time she did not wish to get rid off that feeling.

After being rejoined by her

After being rejoined by her he'd go to rest his head between her shoulders. At first drawn out silence, staring at a nearby object, but then, "What was that all about?"

She enjoyed his touch,

She enjoyed his touch, something she would long for if hadn't felt it in a while. "What? Me being with Neiro?" She glanced at him. "He seemed upset, I wanted to know what was going on with him and if I could help him in any way."

"He did look upset", a sigh,

"He did look upset", a sigh, "He was circling you though", quite briskly at that, "Should I be concerned?"

She nodded, the doe had never

She nodded, the doe had never seen the black and white stag as furious as a moment ago. "We are close, he is very dear to me and I am to him." She sighed. "He means no harm with it, just shows he cares." Over time she had become a pretty good liar. He did not mean harm by it, but she had triggered the behavior with her own words and actions.

"You always put a smile on my

"You always put a smile on my face, miss," he says while letting his head rest lightly upon the doe's back. Something didn't feel right though. "How have you been?" The canine asks, faint worry lingering in his otherwise calm tone.

The doe had been drifting in

The doe had been drifting in and out of this forest, trying to find another place to call home. "You have no clue how good it feels to have you close again." She replied with a quiet, powerless voice. "Ups and downs. Mostly downs. What about you? How have you been?"
1Antidote's picture

The wolf slowly brushes his

The wolf slowly brushes his skull against the doe's soft fur, inhaling her lovely scent. "You seem to have lost weight, am I right?" He asks, crimson eyes briefly shifting to look at the doe's. "I've been well," he pauses briefly, examining the skinny female. The wolf was obviously not pleased by the view, forming a faint frown behind his mask. "May I ask what happened to you?"

Miyako turned her blue eyes

Miyako turned her blue eyes to the wolf beside her, they did not shine any longer like they used to. The color in them had turned much, much lighter, too. "Can't deny that." Nothing more was said. She gave him a nod as an answer, she was happy to hear he was doing fine. " Life happened." The doe knew how much Beren valued Djinn and their relationship so she did not wish to talk about her former mother with a bad tone.
1Antidote's picture

Beren's ears flickered

Beren's ears flickered backwards as he gazed into the doe's eyes. They were so much different since the last time he saw them, it made the wolf even more concerned. "Honestly, I was expecting for a more detailed answer," Miyako's short answer was not enough to him, he wanted to know at least some things that were troubling the young doe, hoping he could somehow help her. "You can tell me anything," the canine assures her, pressing even tighter against her side. "Besides, you should eat. You don't look too well."

The doe let out a light

The doe let out a light chuckle, she knew very well that she should give a better answer to him. She fell silent for a moment pondering what she should say. She assumed that Djinn had already talked to him. "It is a long story to tell, maybe I cut a bit too much." She rolled her eyes, smiling, trying to hide her true emotions. "I don't wish to trouble you too much, all I'll say is that I have ever felt so alone. Not even when I got here for the first time. At least I got a family pretty soon after my arrival. Everything is gone now." She laid her head to the ground and glared at him when he told her she should eat.
1Antidote's picture

Beren's ears were perked as

Beren's ears were perked as he listened, his heart stung a little bit as if he felt the doe's own pain for what she had to overcome. He wished he could fix things, but the wolf knew he wouldn't be able to change anything. "You're not alone, nor you trouble me. I'm always here for you if you need anyone," instead he tires to comfort the doe, even if he wasn't very good at it. Miyako's glare causes the wolf to make a confused expression and he tilts his head lightly. "Lets go get you some food," he rises and leans to nudge the doe to get up.

There could be countless of

There could be countless of friends and acquaintances around her watching over her without her even knowing it or noticing it at the moment. The young doe had sunk into the deepest hole of depression. It would be good if the wolf could make her eat, sooner or later her body would react badly to a too big amount of food. She would just throw up each time she tried to eat. The wolf's comment was left without an answer but it still was heard, nevertheless. She stood up to her bony, shaky legs. "Don't think so."
1Antidote's picture

Beren glanced at the doe's

Beren glanced at the doe's fragile state once more as she stood up. "You must eat. Would you like me to carry you?" He asks, worried that it might be difficult for Miyako to walk longer distances by herself.

Only by walking and running

Only by walking and running the doe could build her muscle strength again, eating would help that, too. It was too easy just go hiding and stay there. "I am not hungry, I will eat once I get hungry again." She gave him a smile, trying to convince him she was really going to do so.
1Antidote's picture

The wolf eyes her

The wolf eyes her suspiciously, could her words be a lie? Either way, he knew Miyako had to eat before her state gets even worse. "Lets go to the blue bowl," he says, partly ignoring the doe's words. The canine takes a few steps forward towards the Blue Bowl's direction, glancing back to see if the doe was following him. "If you like meat, I can hunt something for you," he offers and moves forward.

She opened her mouth in order

She opened her mouth in order to talk again, but soon enough she closed it and slowly followed him. She let her head hang there, no strength to carry it properly, hold it high. "My stomach couldn't handle meat." Words were said quietly and humbly. "If I eat a couple of blueberries?" She tried to come to the half way. Baby steps. Any eating disorder would have to be dealt with baby steps. The doe did not appreciate his efforts now, but soon she will.
1Antidote's picture

Beren slowed down his pace

Beren slowed down his pace and walked beside Miyako in case she needed a shoulder to hold on to. "And promise me that you'll start eating again," he demands with a serious tone, crimson eyes looking at the doe from behind the wolf's long bangs. "Everything will be fine."

Once the Blue Bowl came into sight, Beren trotted to inspect the place of anything that could be potentially dangerous to both of them. When things seemed to be fine there, he went back to Miyako, continuing to support her as they made their way to the destination point.

If she made that promise, in

If she made that promise, in the worst case scenario she would have to break her promise. She didn't want that. So the doe fell silent for a moment as she kept walking towards the blue bowl. To some her behavior might look childish, those who thought that way were wrong. There was a deep rooted problems beneath the problems with eating. Her mind told her that was the right thing to do, for some reason. "I can promise you that I will try." She replied with a firm voice and glanced at the wolf.
She waited for a moment when she saw he went to check out the place for possible threats. Then, she would continue moving forward. The doe grabbed one berry gently between her front teeth, flipped into her mouth and swallowed it. After that the doe would close her eyes and fight against the urge to throw up. Another blueberry was swallowed soon.

She rubbed fairy dust into

She rubbed fairy dust into her wings every morning to be able to fly against the wind

Times had been hard for her but who would believe that sad fairies do exist

Head down she mentioned once about her sorrow

The faun grunted, didn't take her serious

How could a winged thing be so down?

He only took her seriously once she passed away

We have a paradise right here but not everybody can see it

For sometimes the faun, the troll and the fairy, too are caught by sorrow and taken away by it

The story of the lonely fairy touched everyone the trolls consoled the fairies, the elves consoled the fauns

Everywhere they repeated with sighs:

Why did it take one life before we remembered?

We'd have a paradise right here if we always lived side by side and even if the faun, the troll, the fairy are caught by sorrow

they won't get taken away by it.

But from death comes life. There had been a child growing in her womb. did you see that? The fawn is weak and fragile. Will it survive or will it follow his mother?

It was too late. When Djinn

It was too late. When Djinn arrived the fawn was already lying on the ground and Miyako's little heart stopped beating. The doe already expected the worst when she smelled Miyako's scent mixed with blood from afar. The repaired dandelion necklace fell out of her mouth. It felt like an eternity before Djinn could move again. Gently she picked up the necklace and walked over to the corpse with shivering legs. She put the dandalion necklace around Miyako's head where it belonged. Tears flooded her eyes and she sat down next to the doe. It would be the last time she saw Miyako and felt the remaining warmth of her body. She laid her head down next to Miyako's and cried.

"I am so sorry my daughter."

Even though her heart had

Even though her heart had stopped beating some time ago and the warmth of her body was slowly fading away, she could still feel her mother's presence and hear her words. There was no better feeling in the whole wide world than being accepted and loved.
That's how she felt right this moment.
1Antidote's picture

His feet carried him towards

His feet carried him towards the spot where two of his friends laid. His ears perked in alertness as his nostrils caught the scent of blood coming from the direction he was heading to, making him speed up hid walk and eventually start running. A dagger pierced right through the wolf's heart, his jaw dropped slightly as he froze in disbelief upon arriving and seeing Miyako's unconscious body lying on the ground. It didn't take long for the wolf to realize what was going on once he saw Djinn crying over his dear friend. The fawn nearby wasn't left unnoticed, though it was simply not the most concerning thing to the wolf at this moment thus he barely even looked at it and collapsed next to Miyako, dropping his mask and pressing his head against the doe's side to feel her already cooling body for one last time. "Miya.." he whispers quietly, voice shaky as ever before teardrops start rolling down his cheeks. The wolf rarely showed tears to anyone, but he couldn't hold them back. He couldn't believe his beloved friend was gone.

The small black crow sat on

The small black crow sat on the branch where he was sitting yesterday, hidding among the leaves. This time he noticed that the flower patch is clear. Clear from "the things", but not from memories and scents. Last evening he passed the forest nearby when he heard the talking of other birds. They said that one of still young and pretty does has gone. As long as he listened to them he was afraid that he knows the doe. Finally he flew to check this on his own eyes. He followed the noices and when he reached to the Big Oak he sat altogether with the other birds on its branches and watched carefully. After a few second he knew, he was sure, that was she. Feeling of sadness and sympathy grow in him. He really want to go down and joined to her, to touch her last time, to say goodbye, but he couldn't. He couldn't make a mess around there with his own person as he wasn't very welcome in the forest lately, so he stayed, stuck on the branch. "Im sorry, I wish I could help you, help you get back..." he sighed and added: "I hope you feel better..there." he thought looking at Miyako's body. There was small crowd near her, and then he realized there was also small fawn. He hasn't noticed it untill it started to move. His mind was full of thoughts, so he only watched. "So there's still a hope.." He thought inside. When the noices in down became more loud he straightened his wings and Ravly flew away.

/Even if I'd like to put him there, in his 'normal' body, I wasn't able at the moment, so it was better to put him in there as crow, I hope you don't mind c:
Apparanza's picture

He could smell her. It was

He could smell her.

It was faint and a day old, but her scent never went undetected by him. The black and white stag was on his hooves immediately and they took him to her grave. The stench of death threatened to take over and bring forth unwanted memories of his past as well as fears concerning Miyako, but he didn't allow it to push away the subtle smell of fresh grass and rain that he had so often inhaled from her fur.

Neiro stared down at the mound of earth with his yellow eyes, whose pupils were constricted slits to reflect the disbelief and shock he was experiencing. He suddenly felt ill.

This could not be real. Miyako could not be dead. And yet, there she was, her body buried under the ground. "What the hell are you doing down there, Miya?" he demanded quietly. One black hoof halfheartedly scraped away a little bit of dirt, but he stopped - despite the desire to uncover her body and see the proof, he couldn't. She may already be a feast for the bugs, and Neiro knew the image would never leave him if he saw her now. He decided that he only wanted to remember her alive.

The stag felt numbness creeping up his legs, so he crumbled down. The increased closeness to her resting place didn't help the odor of decay, but he ignored it.

Rage slowly began to boil in his blood. Who had done this? Her 'family'? An enemy?
...Herself?
He had seen her just a little while ago, her figure looking emaciated. She had to have done it to herself. It had taken its toll on her, and this is what resulted. His anger directed itself towards Miyako, and his muzzle twitched as he struggled not to snarl. "Look what you've done," he hissed, yellow eyes narrowing while they gazed at her grave. "I told you the truth, opening myself up to you and we rebuilt our bond stronger than it would've ever been. You taught me that maybe being honest would be worth the risk of getting hurt." His brows knit together and he continued, his voice gradually losing its venom and becoming quieter. "And now you leave me? This is wrong, Miyako. This is all wrong." Neiro clenched his jaws together. Keeping up a somewhat composed exterior was quite the challenge at this point. "I didn't even get to... say goodbye."

Both ears were pinned back. His accusing gaze softened and he inhaled a shaky breath, closing his eyes and turning his head away. He had seen enough death to be insensitive towards it, but it had claimed Miya, and the pain Neiro was feeling made it clear that he had actually truly cared for the doe. This was affecting him deeply, and he loathed how vulnerable he was, the ugly result of getting too attached.

In spite of that, he didn't regret his attachment to Miyako. She was causing him a great deal of torment, yes, but she was still the first he'd cared for and the first to care for him back, besides his brothers.

"You won't be forgotten," he murmured, his tone nearly inaudible. Neiro slowly lifted himself back up, opening his eyes to give her grave an unreadable glance. "I-.." He stopped himself. When he spoke again a few moments later, he could muster nothing more than a whisper.

"...Goodbye."
