I only know about this game because someone mentioned it on TEF, so I know SOMEONE is there. XD

This took several days to finish, so I'd love it if someone did a light critique.

I kind of got lazy in the end with the background, but I did mostly focus on the zombies. '

As a side note: I'm still working on the latest batch of alien-ified deer. I'm just having problems with it. XD

Kind of inspired by Kaoori's challenge... And the fact that generally I don't ususally ask for art or anything. XD

I'm curious if it's possable for anyone to draw or write about one or more of my deer, in a good/evil state opposite to their usual nature?
More specifically, if anyone could try and draw my consistantly shy, gentle genious Mar Sart as an evil deer...
Or Mr. Grumpy demon deer Darkweaver as a goodie-goodie?
Not really limited to those, but I think those two would be the most interesting to convert.

Hmm... to make i tmore contest-ish, I'll draw or write something for three people in return, in the same media used by the person who wins in whatever category. Someone for funny, someone for interesting, and someone for "outright different". (Outright different being more of the miscellanious category. XD)

Ok, so it turns out Mar Sart's birthday/deerday whatever was two weeks ago and I forgot about it. X'D
So... in two weeks it'd be more like anniversary of stag day... I guess I could do a mentioning of that instead.

[=gray]It all wound down with a bang… well; actually more like several... then months of the insistent beeping of a heart rate monitor in a coma patient room. The mechanical and generally artificial sounds had eventually faded away into the lively song of birds and natural background noise of leaves rustling in whispering wind. The humming of dragonfly wings and symphony of croaking frogs, the occasional splash of a playful frog leaping into the depths, made for a strong contrast to the unnatural voices of the past: Rapid gunfire, humming machines, whining air vents, coughing patients waiting for medicine, and the ravings of madmen in every asylum... The air, so pure and unpolluted, minus the occasional scents of blood and smoke, made a grand alternative to the 'sanitized' air pumped into governmental buildings and every hospital, and the toxic over cloud of every city. One thing that seems to remain unchanged, however, is the stars.
Vibrant and clear in the untainted sky, they are countless in their numbers and arrangements. Perhaps, here they are more vibrant than elsewhere... but then again, most are hidden from view by the city lights. There are no artificial lights here... only the pure glow of the stars to guide the way at night.


And yet, this new world is no heaven. Not for a deer who was once so much more.
Not even close. Even though there is so much beauty, there is still the consuming ugliness and despair. It's not hell, either... Perhaps, it is merely Purgatory... a gray zone between the two.

I open my eyes, and look over this purgatory world. The sun shines down on the surface of the lake, warming my gray fur even threw the cool, shallow water I so often sleep in. Under the glare of the suns reflection, I see the fuzzy and distorted images of the koi swimming just a few feet away. I can't help but recall how I once believed this part of the forest was pure, and free of death. The koi, the dragonflies... both had been here forever...

That now even I am getting sick of the violence and 'evil' and 'blood' and all that stuff that has been spewing out this last several months?
Especially considering on Deviantart I'm participating (and moving to the second round) in "Blood Sport 2"?

I think I'm actually getting tired of all this violence and negativity. I don't even feel like going in the forest anymore at this point. Crazy as it sounds I played my secret new deer a few days ago for the first time... and right away it was met with 1.) Being attacked by an adult deer, 2.) ignored by others, 3.) shown hostility, all within the first 5 minutes of play? (And all without provolking others!)

The constant need to RP in forest is starting to wear me out too... It's like... you can't play OOC anymore. You can't walk up to others and just have fun, unlike it used to be.

We need an OOC day or something. 8/

I mean, I'm at a point where I half want to shoot down my own "Darkweaver", "Ebony"(even though she's not caused any trouble yet), and "Spill", just to somewhat lower the amount of evil deer. 8<

Seriously, I get my fill of blood and violence on DA right now... Do I really need to also deal with it on what was supposed to be a peaceful game? Can we not turn it down for a day anymore?

I'm just so outrageously bored (and have been kinda down the last few weeks due to RL), so...

I'd like to contribute to the community some.

Instead, I'd like to risk drawing them as I think they'd appear in "Invader Zim".
As a side note: I am aweful at drawing humans... so I will be drawing in the form of the other "alien" species within that show.
(That would include Irkens, Vort, Meekrob, Planet 'Jackers, Floaty cone things, Blorch Rats, Nhar-Gh'ok (which I know would kill me from being very human looking), and other varied aliens that appear in season 3. |D )

Er, though since the Vort look a lot like deer (or fauns, really.) I might mostly use them unless requested otherwise.
