Where Madness Lingers (Violence)

It's been almost a week... I'm sure the entire forest knows already. I killed Wesker.

I found him, defiling Laghodessa's grave again. Laughing and ripping apart the soil that covers her remains. I charged from the thick of the forest, and slid between him and her grave. Other deer had gathered around us, taking seats all around to watch our 'show'. I lowered my head, aiming my brow tined toward his heart as I stood over the grave, protecting it from further damage.

"My, My... Some things never change. You put such faith in a grave." He mocked. [=crimson] We continued in a short exchange of taunts and growls, until I finally had enough. Our fight had begun. Antler locking, biting, bludgening of hooves, roaring, and racing. I suppose calling it a show would be appropriate after all.

In the darkness around us, I could clearly see dozens of spirits lingering around us. Lagho was among them, though her presance had faded some from the disruption and disrespect at her gravesite. Why can she appear to any deer she wants to, he questioned? I know why...
It's our bond, and will to communicate dispite the absense of her body, that keeps her spirit here... Even when most of the other spirits give up shortly after death, and dissappear from most eyes.

We battled threw the night, and well into the next day. As the sun rose, we continued to clash antlers before the ruins. The crowd had dwindled to nothing. The spirits continued to watch however... Though did they even have a choice? I snapped off Wesker's mask, leaving his face bloodied, and though he claimed I'd pay... He'd pay for defiling the grave, with the shedding of his blood.

Forest acting up? o.o

Ah, I'm noticing eveyone basically freezing for like 20 seconds then like... teleporting some distance away. I'm guessing it's extreme server lag, though I move around rather freely...
Anyone else getting that?

Recording in forest - continued

Will be recording an event with Darkweaver and Wesker today (a fight naturally. It's preplanned to do this.)

So please, I'd love no-one breaking it up. Watch if you'd like though. 8D
And react as usual, without breaking it up. 8'D

Got delayed yesterday, so we're finishing today. |D
Come watch but not interrupt! 8D

How... could I...? (violence)

[=crimson]...have lost? Up until now, I have never lost a fight with him... Last time came close... but now...

I can scarcely move. How many witnessed this embarassment?

The day started so peaceful... well... if smashing down trees to vent is peaceful.

Peace... such a rare thing.
I had finally healed from the previous encounter with Wesker...

I learned of Priest and Aegle's fight. So fueled with rage, I had become.

I took my rage out on the trees, until Bastilion joined me. I led him to the birch forest, and there we sparred, while watched by a fawn. Sparring did soothe the nerves.

We returned to Aegle and Masque, at the ruins. We joined Masque in watching over Aegle, and repulsed random deer who seemed intent on a fight.

I don't remember much after that... I must have zoned out. When I became aware of those around me again, the company had dwindled, and moved. Hnn... another trick of yours, Aves? You must get some strange kick out of messing with me. Heh... even if you don't express much.

My memory has fogged over, in regard to much of the day. I soon made my way to the lake... but what happened from the ruins to the lake... I can't recall...

Hnn...
How long has it been since my last meal? ... I haven't touched another deer for meat since before talking to the twin statues. Maybe that's the root of this weariness. Hunger... lack of all needed protien.

It can't just be me getting old.
Because I'm already old.

I took a drink from the lake... and soon, who do I notice, but Wesker, resting under the nearest willow tree.

I began taunting him, and he began returning taunts. I stepped under the tree, mocking him.

Confident...
I hadn't lost to the fool yet.
I should have been more serious, perhaps.

Our antlers soon collided. Our hooves raised and struck.

I stepped around his tree, and slipped behind him. Bit into his hind leg and pulled, aiming to throw the boy off his feet.

||LAGHODESSA||

THIS NEEDS AN OVERHAUL.

Laghodessa's Summit

A hill silhouetted by cloudy skies
The wind howling, leaves torn away
There at the summit she appears
Those eyes like little blue flames
Trail away past her fearless face
She was too strong to cry about the past
She only looked to the present...
Her eyes appeared to be wisps from afar
Searching for the one she truly loved
There was a reason to linger on
For her love roamed this darkness too
And in a heartbeat, the fallen angel is gone
But she is always watching...always searching...

Items: A blue leather necklace-bag containing ten cinnamon sticks, gifted by her granddaughter.

Notes
After her revival by Osias' hands, she had retained her ghostly eyes and the ability to assume a raven form. Her skeletal markings have also remained ghostly in a way, now harboring a soft blue glow instead of the usual black and white monotone.

Will range between hesitant to fearful around devout pelted deer due to previous encounters.
Will avoid the twin idols at all costs.

Under the falling rain

[=crimson]From the start, I suppose I have set myself up for a difficult life. How many years have gone by, in which my understanding was that I had to fight to stay alive? Now in my old age, I am stuck in violent ways... and I am not as free to change as a fawn would be. Alas, as much as I'd like to take a step back and live peacefully, such will be impossible. I fear my own nature will soon lead to death.

I recently conversed with Virgil on this topic. Even though a change is desired, it is difficult to even consider. Though it's difficult, I have resolved to restrain myself. I had been challenged to fight Silent... Virgil had attempted to convince me to turn the challenge down; but I am a... stubborn old mule. He did get to me though. If anything, I promised to not throw the first blow, and to take it easy.

It is unlike me to even consider 'taking it easy'... but still baring open wounds from my last fight with Wesker, it became an option. I would still fight... just not as viciously. Besides that, I have been growing weary of the sight of blood... the red flush that obscures my mind under stress... the madness that pulls me strait to hell's gates themselves. It's become redundant, and wears down the soul.

So the day had come, to fight Silent.

Still sore and barely scabbed from my last battle... still mentally worn down...

He woke in the shallows of the lake, and called out. From across the lake, I called back.

"I told you I would not be hiding!" I declared. Wounded, even so... I could not back down. He remained near the shallows. I made my way to where he stood.

I bowed, courteously. There was no need to behave as a blind beast... I would show manners. He bowed back. "You wished to fight me? I wholly accept your challenge." I stated. I believe he was waiting for me to attack first.

But I had already vowed to only attack if first attacked.

Cry for sanity (Violence)

[=crimson]It's been a long time since I have spoken freely. Much has happened since my last reminiscing, and there are many details I shall keep to myself. In the past weeks, I have become a sort of guardian for The Fawn, witnessed deer in unnatural pelts and lacking antlers completely, achieved a sort of alliance with The Priest, and battled one named Wesker, more than once. Never have I lost, even to this moment. I've joined a collection of others in 'honoring' the twin de-... statues, and once again encountered the giant stags who accompany their activities.

I must remember not to call them demons... At least until I see what the winter brings. I admit I don't have much hope that I will make it that long, but I should keep those ideas out of mind.

I have been working on not letting madness take over in combat... at least when it comes to defending her grave. When Wesker, that fool, tries to uproot it, I cannot afford to let the insanity take hold anymore. I cannot say for sure yet, if it is better or worse to fall into a 'seeing red' state in a fight or not. I have sparred with Virgil recently. I believe this friendly match of ours had helped in keeping a cool head for more serious battles.

Hnn... But on to more recent matters.

The other day, I had joined Spangled Plushblue, Lantern, and another in 'manning up' one of the biggest chicken-deer I've ever witnessed. I aimed to drive him to the fury needed to lower antlers, but all he could do was cower. Hnn... I could have eaten him, but I chose to let him live. I recall silent watching, and a battle occurring during the attack.
