Among Long Stone Shadows

The air here is still and old, the rocks even older.
They rise like teeth, casting long shadows over you and the grass.
Cracks and ripples form spirals, half-formed faces in the cool grey slate.
Spirits raise the hairs on your neck, skin prickling as your eyes fall across the stone basin.
Shallow but wide, stained dark and pungent with the unmistakable taint of blood. Empty now, it looks hungry.
Littering the grass, tiny shards of black; twinkling shadows of dark stone.
Jagged, sharp edges; perfect for parting skin.

Will you call for him?

Queze can not simply come and go from The Forest as he pleases..
Should you desire Queze's presence in The Forest, for RP, or a plot,
a character will need to deliver a suitable offering to Quetzalcoatl.
Queze can of course, deliver offerings himself, should he desire.

So I have another account and it's not being used as much as I would like in comparison to Samorn. I have a character in mind but I'm stuck on a possible design for it. The character I have in mind would be very brash, active, love to spar and that's all I've thought of so far (it isn't very specific, haha).

I don't know what set would be appropriate for a character like this and so that's why I would love some input. Any suggestions at all are good because I'll be glancing at the pelt/mask/antler selectors to see what combinations might be good. I have an idea for a mask because I like it but I never had an appropriate character for it but I would definitely like some input because I know you guys know designs a lot more than I do, heh.

^{But I'm also stuck on the fact that this character might not fit in here and by that I don't mean something like not being popular or whatever but the idea of the character and what I have in mind doesn't seem to fit in to what I've observed around here. That's a whole other story though, hah.}

Hey, hey, everyone.

So, we've got some heavy rain in the Forest - which I absolutely love - however, I'm stuck with all of my details off. For some reason, when my details are on even in the slightest, my screen starts looking like this:

Now, the screen doesn't turn completely white - it's like it's still raining, but it's raining these huge, white blocks.

I honestly don't understand what's causing this; it's never done this before. =/

So, I was taken off the computer for a week or so and during this time alot has happened around the community and the forest - i.e. whited out blogs, front page change, CSS stuff and rain! To be honest, it's pretty confusing. Can someone actually explain what has happened with the BBCODE and HTML and all that?

On the plus side, I tried my new pen tablet and love it! Hopefully I'll post some art soon. Also, I logged into the forest to find my fawn has grown. It's a shame to see her not so small anymore but new things await for her...

Anyway, as the title suggests, even if it was only a little while, I've missed the community ^^

(I posted this just to ask about what happened with the CSS stuff and to explain my sudden disappearance)

EDIT: what about editing old posts that are laden with CSS?

So please don't expect the best thing in the world at the moment. Nightmare's actions have to be perfect for me so I try to get them just right. Especially in terms of how he generally would act and respond to others.

Hi all

Well I had a lovely sleep and I awake to find the Fawn avatar was a huge success. I was so nervous yesterday when I released it, but everyone seems to be enjoying themselves! <3

It's great to see TEF groups popping up in Whirled (like Lemontea's) and I'm also happy to see people of both communities checking out the other. Whirledians who spill over into TEF will hopefully behave themselves; they are not a bad crowd, but some of them are quite young. I'm sure the ones who actually end up sticking around will mingle peacefully and become part of the community just like anyone else. :]

I've sent out people's free Fawns, but I couldn't find Enkouwolf's or Alphafrost's profiles. There are just too many people named "Ashes" and "Scout".

If you two could send me a link to your profile pages, I'd be very appreciative (and can send you your fawns)!

Riding this high, I'm going to finish up a few small fixes to the fawn, and then carry on working. I may even Livestream again later today, if I can get my sound output working...
