What if something truly remarkable was happening. A forest magic that humans could not possibly understand. There are tales of this area, where deer seem to appear and disappear before their eyes. It is no use chasing after them, they vanish so quickly, their trails and hoofprints stopping with no deer in sight.

What if...the deer had camouflaged themselves so well that those who followed them walked right past?

What if the deer literally transformed themselves into trees?


I'll be writing a sort of journal entry story here, but I wanted to ask if you guys would like to join in on this idea.

Artists - draw an example of a deer transforming into a tree. They can be in mid-transformation, or be fully tree with hints of deer to them (long ear branches, wriggling tails, eyes and snouts poking out, ect). I'd prefer the scene to be snowy wilderness, with barren trees that have no leaves on them, but you're more than welcome to do an artwork of a deer with leaves on their antlers/branches. It can be a TEF deer, a real life whitetail deer, or any other cervine such as a moose, antelope, elk, and so forth. Artistic liberty is encouraged, and any form of media is fine (sketches, linearts, full color, digital work, ect)

Writers - write either a poem about the transformation process and evading a human, or a short story telling the tale of a deer transforming and becoming a tree. Feel free to be as creative as you'd like.

Do you ever try to track down deer randomly just to say hello or to find them and see what they look like?
I kinda did but they were sleeping so I couldn't say hello.

I hope it doesn't sound too creepy but I love trying to find out the interesting people whom match the symbols of their picto.
It's pretty neat and mysterious.

Today we are celebrating Tale of Tales' 10 year anniversary! Thank you all for being with us and playing our games. Oh, and just if you know the answer to my problem, please feel free to answer it for me!
Whenever I go the game, it doesn't come up with my player, but the un-named deer you get before you get an account on TEF. Also, it says no one is online and when I try and log in, pressing the little square thing on the left hand side in the corner, all the options are in a different language! However, it says it's in English... but it's not!

Please help!

It's been a long time since I have been on if you've read a previous post of mine. I'm wondering how do I understand the poses and when they are given.
I'd like to be able to put a nice barrier between communication, trolling and also understanding when I'm not welcomed. D:

Okay so i figured how to sign up, im a fawn now and i have a pictogram, but how do i save my outfits, yes i went to network and i save them it said they saved but 20 seconds later they dissapear, so idk is that only for fawns? if it is plz tell me and if not tell me how to properly save! plz i need u help!
