Running Among the Stars was born from the singing of birds flying among the constellations looking for their place in the starry sky. But one day, Running Among the Stars got to Earth and there met with a kind doe, who gave the baby the name Titmouse and began to raise the baby. In a word, a kind doe became a mother to a Blue Hen. But one ill-fated day, a terrible fire broke out in the forest where the Titmouse lived with her mother..And, during the escape from the fire, a burning tree fell on one of the deer..The victim of the burning forest was the mother of a Titmouse..But despite this, the Titmouse continued to run..After a few moments of non-stop running, the Chickadee found herself in an Endless Forest. Wandering through the Endless Forest, she punished herself for leaving her mother to die in a fire..After a few days of wandering, the Titmouse met Memory..The Titmouse told her new friend her sad story and added that she did not know how to live on, because she did not see the point in life when she lost the most precious thing in the world..Without hesitation, Memory told her about a magical place among the stars, where her mother now lives..Memory showed the Titmouse the way..Thereby showing her soul the way to the goal..

Currently, the Titmouse lives with her mother among the stars, but also does not forget to visit the Endless Forest. Blue loves to watch other deer, always wants to be friends with them and is very afraid of offending them with some stupid mistake..

My name is Titmouse and I am a new player in the Endless Forest. I am very glad to meet and make friends with all the inhabitants of the Endless Forest.

thank you for the pelts and masks ? I have twice returned to The Forest and had a different appearance (one I was able to save, yay !) - and I don't think that happens by itself, does it ?

it's magical either way (whether it's gifted by another deer or it happens by some default) - I just wanted to say 'thanks' (and 'wah' !) if I missed interacting with someone

besides still being on a learning curve, The Forest runs inconsistently for me and I am disconnected sometimes for no reason I can discern (or, 'operator error' ? I am disconnecting myself without understanding how ? *cringe*) - so sorry to everyone I vaporize in front of and beg your patience

I've officially been a part of the forest for 5 years (and 6 days) and I wanted to thank you all for being one of the most welcoming, thoughtful, and kind communities I've ever been a part of. You are all so talented and amazing and I'm grateful to be a part of this little corner of the internet.
So thank you, and happy five years in the forest to me.

I just scrolled through all the screenshots J!n posted, and wanted to say, in addition to really enjoying The Forest environment in and of itself, there's an amazing collection work here, like, the whole ripple effect of this place, created by all of you - all the imagery and writing - thank you - it's all pretty remarkable, as is the pervasive kindness

(so, capiteux can't type cuz of the whole hoof situation, but here goes ... )

capiteux is actually an antelope, but oblivious about it. and oblivious to all those kinds of divisions between ruminants that are based on size, or appearance, or ? (don't we all have the same four stomachs? aren't the very best of us all bovine anyway?)

to capiteux, The Forest is heavenly, because of its very purposeful exclusion of all the meaningless, excessive audible and visual NOISE that dominates other environments (and life, yes? (that's all so normalized now)).

everywhere else lacks mystery, imagination, artistry, depth.

for capiteux, dancing ! is best. but second best: just being still. resting. quiet.

capiteux invited a good friend to The Forest - a like-minded but much more tech-savvy goat named ruminane - but ruminane hasn't been able to get here yet. (while capiteux is blissfully unaware of divisions and distinctions between ruminants, ruminane is preoccupied with and distracted by them. (ruminane has always wanted to be ... I'm not sure ... ANYthing other than an ordinary goat.))
