Dare I even wake from the depths of darkness to feel a coldness that you can only feel within? Dare I even open an eye into the world that contains such a deep forceful hurt upon the heart? It is as if the gods have not made me feel enough of it. Where I feel an ounce of joy there is a ton of sorrow awaiting me. Why must it all fall upon my shoulders? Have I not done enough to take back the past? Whatever it must be, I sorely wish that I could make this sickening feeling stop.

It seemed to be a day of punishment, and I should have known when I first saw the dew accumulating on the statue beside me. Looking out into the great expanse of the world I found the fog was pouring in, great clouds of it silently leaving remainders of great foot prints in the air. Such weather I was welcoming to, as I could disappear and move as a shadow amongst the trees. As a shadow I went, my voice the only thing to announce I was there. I could hear replied off in the distance, though the change in sound from the weather threw off my senses.

Change is good... when wanted. So many things happen over the course of a few days, I feel overwhelmed and somewhat... sad. Friends change. Everything changes in the blink of an eye... It's so unreal. I sometimes want time to stop, and savor the good moments. I always feel broken when people change, but sometimes for the better. I wont be in the forset as much as Id like to be, so that dosent help at all... I cant fathom words to fully express myself, unfortunatly. So all I can say, and Im not saying this in any odd way, but I love you guys. All my friends, those I dont even know well, I still care. And I hope you do too. Thats all... Thank you...

"Do you dream that the world will know your name?"

"There were things that made us wonder who we really were.", the doe spoke. The wind blew past the green feathers that grew from her head. "There were times that we thought we'd give up. But we looked to each other and carried on."

She lowered her head, catching the scent from the blue flowers that grew where she sat. Her body sat peacefully, the blue and white fur caressing the grass as she shifted slightly.

"There were times we wondered why we were here, what our purpose was. We've questioned many times, and more times than not none of us ever got an answer."

She smirked a little, "Well...tonight, I was given one."

The doe looked back up. "They asked me, 'Do you dream that the world will know your name?', and I answered, 'The world may never know the name Zephyr and I will still love it.' They asked, 'Do you care about all the little things or anything at all?', and I replied, 'Not as much as I care about those who have big things in their life."

Her eyes lifted to the sky, "They asked, 'Do you believe in the day that you were born?'. I laughed and said, 'I live, don't I?' They smiled and then asked, 'Well then, do you know that every day is the first of the rest of your life?' I looked to them, and said the words they wanted to hear me say:

'Don't tell me if I'm dying, because I don't want to know. If I can't see the Sun, then maybe I should go. Don't wake me because I'm dreaming of angels on the Moon, where everyone you know never leaves too soon.'"

She smiled, her eyes staring at the Moon. "We'll go there one day, when the Earth doesn't need us anymore. Until then, we are here to live and love the world. It doesn't mean we're not angels yet...after all, the Twin Gods created us all perfectly."

I had a WONDERFUL evening in the Forest, today. I felt surrounded by lovely deer, and simply overjoyed by the atmosphere.

Many deer assisted Efter in his search for a new look! And to all who did - thank you!

The fact that the screenshot tool isn't working means that I can't thank you directly, though...

Does anyone know why it isn't working? I take the screenshots (by pressing P, right? Or Ctrl and P) and the screen pauses for a moment, as if taking the screenshot. But, then when I go to the screenshot folder, there is nothing there!

If anyone else has experienced this problem, and knows how to fix it... please help! Taking screenshots is one of the most useful aspects of the Forest!

By the way, I've only just installed the Forest onto my laptop, which is Windows 7. Would that make any difference?

Today I woke up on a wall in the ruins feeling sad because my friend annefleur left . I don't know if she will ever come back and i feel like crying !
Then i saw a magpie mask with antlers without any body hunting around . Hey what was this ?
It was my unknown friend which whom i played a lot before .
We ran around like crazy and played with other deer .
He cheered me up and i am thankful for this .
Then we took a rest together .
