I was just flying by as I saw Lu and Lem sleeping soundly by the tree. So I immediately started yawning myself, my eyelids grew heavy and I felt an irresistible desire to nestle down)

I havent been in game much at all- I have checked here at the community on and off, I was very upset to learn about Fly-( bless you Flyleaf wherever you are).. and yes Ursch was still for hrs- so I gathered you were afk or asleep.. it didnt matter. It was just nice to be there.
Ive had a kind of busy year- I tried to keep an eye out for you...but I think you have been busy too.

( even if that psychopomp is scared of fawns !)
Yes, busy indeed, although I'm trying to visit the forest whenever I can.
You know, after Fly's passing I kind of feel like every member of the community absobred a tiny part of his spirit. Very much like the scene from FernGully where Magi disappears, but a sparkle of her magical power reaches each of the fairies.
Of course, it's beautiful and inspiring on screen, but far more sad and tragic in reality. The Endless Forest is somewhere inbetween though - bringing together real humans and fictional characters... Anyway, I've just noticed that many people (myself included) have been trying to be more welcoming, more active and more approachable recently - like Flyleaf was, as it seems to be the best way to honour his memory.
So yeah, I'll be around and hope to see you again soon!
(You still remain the only fawn in whose company Ursch felt entirely comfortable )

'Cause my first thought when I saw it was that its eyelids were the leafs of a Venus flytrap.
I was thinking marine/aquatic life. Urch's "design" is both a blessing in the sense I can draw whatever I like and a curse in the sense I'll often end up not liking it. What looks like the eye there is either soft tissue or a bony core of some sort. And I've got another idea of the mask I'm gonna try soon enough.
Ah, thought about that too! The mask reminded me of a veiltail (which is witty: not just a veil-looking tail, but in this case rather a tail-looking veil... surreal %))
Curious to see the other idea incarnated.
Also, there's something I have to tell you about his favourite terrestrial form. It's an aardvark.
