Born the eldest of a triplet to her parents, Alice and Morgül, Mika is affected by a deal her father made with the wish twins Hamsa and Sitra. Her father, being blind, wanted his vision back. In trade, someone he loved would be 'blemished'. This turned out to be his firstborn, cursed with warts growing on her skin.

Family difficulties early in life made her feel insecure and insignificant, and she looked for guidance elsewhere. Found it in a large deer who, by accident, led her out of the forest. Ended up in a world where the trolls rule. Unable to find a way back, she dedicated herself to living with them. Accepted by the trolls quickly, and amongst their ranks found many playmates and loving elders.

Grew up with newfound confidence, fierceness unmatched. Always feels like she needs to be better somehow, making up for the fact she was mostly an intruder.
Learned from their ways; group comes above the individual, always bring a knife.

Eventually found her way back, grown up and far more experienced in life. Travels in-between, the trolls well capable of helping her keep the warts under control. Grateful to them.

Mother. Feels closest to, seems to have the easiest time feeling her emotions. Trusts and looks up to. Sometimes mom is a little slow, it's okay to run forwards without her if you need to. Sometimes worries about how nice her mom is.
Hasn't seen in a long time, loves all the same. Excited to be reunited with. Family.

Morgül
Father. Only saw for a few days during her earliest moments, but picked up on his protective nature. To never just trust a stranger. In a way, his abscence has caused for Mika to feel responsible over her siblings.

Younger sister. Protective over, enjoys playing with a lot. Just as rowdy, if not worse as herself. Enjoys her company.

Kioysdan
Younger brother, protective over. Likes playing with him, but worries about him a lot too. Very shy one moment, running off with complete strangers the next. Upsets mom at times.

Half-brother. Likes, but only really met once.

Takes a lot of values from the trolls she's lived with. A large group, living in the caves in a forest. Away from humans, keeping various animals and surviving in the wild. Does not value individuality that much, finds it important to work in the benefit of the group. Too young to really see the nuances in that.

In this; protective, takes no issue with receiving blows as long as it is in the benefit of the bigger picture. Will otherwise run. Pretty easily provoked into foul language, but has little bite to give.

Has good and bad days. Days where her disease slows her down significantly, where too much running amock will cause her dry skin to crack and bleed. Usually she is unhindered.

Disease

Warning, might be unsettling. Mentions of skin disease.

Mika's first inspiration is based around skin disease, it's consequences and social stigma. I didn't want her to look beautiful at first glance, with crystals growing from her or glowing markings, things in that direction. Looking at various diseases online, I came to two I thought were interesting to use for her concept. One of those being Cutaneous Fibroma, very prominent on white tailed deer. Dark warts grow on the deer it's body, prominent mostly on the head and neck. The wikipedia page has no pictures, for the squeamish.

The second disease is a human affliction called Epidermodysplasia verruciformis. Also associated with "tree man". This is a very rare disease where the growths are mainly horn-like protrusions. Combined, these two diseases make for what Mika is walking around with. It is based around real diseases, but is not a real disease alltogether. Just like Mika is not a real creature.

Personality

I like fierce female figures aight. Since her return I am giving her an overhaul and pushing her into a direction I enjoy more to play.
