Walked around a bit before spotting someone he hadn't seen in ages: Nikodim. Old memories of speaking with the bull about young Miyako and rough play quickly came rushing back. Approached him and sniffed, and then greeted with a rough nuzzle {or two... or four}. Quite pleased to see the bull around again, though really does wish he could still speak because dat accent. Heard Shay's call in the distance, so went to her.

Nikodim was nearby not long afterwards, and efforts to get Shay to greet him were futile. Still doesn't know what her problem with the bull is, but WHATEVER MAN. Watched Niko leave, but remained with his lady. I'll c u around, buddy.

Romped with Shay, but didn't appreciate the antler makeovers. I am a man and peacock feathers look way nicer on you than me ok. Eventually, after trying to smother her with affection, was forced to sit and ended up being smothered by her on top of him instead. Couldn't really complain.

IDK WHAT ORDER THIS WAS IN BUT
Weird thing with Pan, tried coaxing her closer than she'd approached but wasn't really successful. Didn't even know what he really wanted, or what he would've done if she'd listened. So, inched closer himself, aiming for a sniff. Wasn't sure if she'd try to punch him or anything, but dove in eventually anyway and was sniffed in return. For once there wasn't any violence between them - which felt strange - but then she left, so didn't dwell on it too much before returning to Shay.

Later turned into a mini... thanks for making me cute instead of sexy, Shay |: Ran around with her before turning back to his normal height when she said he wasn't worthy of sitting with her on top of the Ruins' altar. Walked off to their trees, and after an argument about each others' weight, beauty, and sexual drive, eventually ended up cuddling together.

M a l i k o r i n - Neiro holds respect for Malik that he holds for no one else, but still can't help being nosy and wanting to know everything that happens to him. Clashes with more often than not, but the two share a bond that neither could sever. {Younger brother}

T o r i e n - Deceased. Unaware of Tor's efforts to come back to life and his wandering within the forest. Shared a bond with him that was filled with ups and downs during their past. Missed, however. {Younger brother}

R e q u i e m - Often gives in to the temptation of scaring the young stag when bored. At the same time, Neiro is trying to teach him to be bolder, but clearly isn't doing a very good job. Sometimes visits the human world to keep him company or protect him. {Younger brother}

I n a l i - His formerly-deceased sister who revived and returned to the realm of the living. Reunited with her and felt a bit detached from her at first, but has become close to her again over time. Probably spends the most time with her out of the rest of his siblings.

J o r o g u m o - Adopted sister through Malik. Neiro wasn't sure about how to act around her at first after discovering she was aware of his past through Malikorin, but later decided it would be pointless to deceive her. He definitely likes her company and is glad he met her. Thinks about her from time to time, hoping she's doing well.

K e n a i - Biological son from Miyako. Found him by Miya's flower patch, recognizing Kenai's blue eyes that were shared with his mother and then realized the kid was his too. Neiro is naturally repulsed by responsibility, but decided to attempt to be a decent father - he never was able to test his ability, however, since Kenai was rarely around. His son's lack of presence has led to a lack of attachment. Neiro would likely feel disconnected from Kenai should he ever appear again, especially after his broken bond with Miyako.

K a e l t i i r & M i e r a a k - Twin nephews through Malikorin. Has met them both, and is quite fond of them despite not having spent as much time with Mier as he has Kael.

S h a y - His best friend, now something more. Neiro always likes hanging out and talking with her, and she is his preferred company. Discovered a long time ago that she was a vampire and still finds this to be very interesting, but isn't too fond of the fact that it makes her stronger than him. Playing with her is always entertaining, and he enjoys their conversations when they're not arguing. Found his new home thanks to her. Very affectionate towards, often overly so. Has brought her to the human world countless times and is pretty sure she's addicted to chocolate. Refers to her as 'Count Chocula' in his mind, and loves the fact that she has no idea. They've had their ups and downs, but have managed to work through the obstacles in their path each time. Both have romantic feelings for each other that had been brought to the surface, and although they've gone through many conflicts, they're currently 'dating'.

M i y a k o - She was his first real 'friend' in the forest. Was his primary source of affection, but after finally telling her the truth of how he deceived her, broke their bond. Eventually she forgave him, and they rebuilt their relationship on truth. Felt extremely close to her, but snapped when he found out that she died, and suffered as a result. Just when he thought he was able to finally move past it months later, he found her alive. Didn't know what to think at first, but after allowing her to approach and talking with her, things between them returned to normal until her presence became sporadic to nonexistent. Seeing her for the first time in months led to a conversation that went downhill, and now no longer harbors romantic feelings for. Will avoid, especially for Shay's sake.

L a n e - Nuzzles, cuddles, rubs, the like - he only looks forward to these whenever he sees her. Neiro plans on keeping her in the dark for as long as possible in order to continue exchanging affection. She gave him the nickname 'NeNe'. Hasn't seen her in ages.

E v e l y s - After brutally attacking and wounding her, Neiro managed to get himself on her good side. He'll often go to her when she's around, engaging in play and resting beside each other. It's unclear if he really wants to be her friend or if he's only doing this to erase her mind of any desire for revenge. Rarely sees anymore, but still greets whenever he catches her around.

B e r a v e n o n - Evelys' son. The black and white stag is drawn to Bera's naive nature, and always looks forward to opportunities to influence the younger one. Pleased that Bera thinks of him so highly.

I k a e l - Neiro hadn't been friends with Iki for very long before quickly getting along well with her. He has caused trouble alongside her and would happily do so again, and considers her a valuable tie. Their closeness in height allows him to play rougher with her. Doesn't see her anymore, but would still welcome her into his company.

U m a y - Had always thought highly of the lioness ever since first hearing about her friendship with Malikorin, but has been on very unstable ground with her. Pretty sure her idea of him is messed up especially thanks to Pandora, but has since given up trying to change her opinion of him.

O p h e l i a - An acquaintance. She has become a source of curiosity for Neiro after he deemed her behavior on the subject of family unusual. Intended to break her down, but never really got the chance to get to know her before she disappeared from the forest.

P o s e i d o n - Despite thinking Os' need for space is totally absurd, Neiro respected it. He liked the stag and his odd ways, and was willing to protect him from those who might not find the stag's behavior so intriguing. Gone.

R e e d - Neiro thinks highly of Reed. Liked hanging out with him, whether it was messing with others or simply sitting together. Doesn't often see anymore, though.

P a n d o r a - Once a sister-in-law through Malikorin. Neiro enjoyed messing with her. Despite his mischievous mindset towards the obsidian doe, he was still willing to protect her on Malik's behalf. She gave him the title 'Deadsoul'. Furious at her for abandoning Malik, and attacked her in a vain attempt to keep her away from his brother to prevent further hurt. Later approached her for a truce, and despite her claiming she would consider it, was indirectly but harshly denied. Blames her for keeping the family from being whole, especially after her split from Malik - something he had anticipated for a long time. Emotions towards her fluctuate but usually settle on hatred.

The little wolf had been curious since he had stopped last night to see her and her father. Hati was still too young to truly judge others, so she still really had no true opinion of him, although she was wary when she approached. Sniffing at his hooves, the tiny runt looked up at him with huge icy eyes, tilting her head.

The black and white stag had been zoning out when a tiny black figure started moving towards him and brought him back into the present. Golden-yellow eyes focused onto the small pup, and he recognized her from a recent visit of sorts to her father.
As she sniffed his hooves and then looked up at him, Neiro lowered his head slightly closer. "Don't you realize how quickly you could be killed if you're alone? Where is your family?" He doubted the little thing could understand him, but it didn't hurt to ask.

she didn't think he'd do any harm. She'd seen him with her father, and Papa had seemed okay. Her family wasn't too far behind, and she'd begun to explore on her own- a little later than her siblings, since she was growing a bit slower. At the response to his question, a high-pitched 'garruph' was directed at him; then she began test-tasting his hoof. The need to chew lately was overwhelming.

Neiro's ear twitched at her response. Who the hell knew what 'garruph' meant - though she probably thought the same thing about what he'd said to her. He blinked down at her a few times when she began gnawing on his hoof, which he slowly dragged away from her. He was not edible, and considered stepping on her to prove the point, but nah.
The stag lowered his head more until it was at her level, slit-pupiled eyes examining her closely. "Do you know your name?" It was likely she wouldn't understand that either, but decided to try to introduce himself anyway. "I'm Neiro. Can you say that? Neiro."

Neiro stared at her blankly after she replied, but it only took a few moments before he decoded her word. Or, at least he thought he did - would her parents actually teach her that? From his first impression of Chrona, he wasn't that surprised. The corners of his mouth curled as chuckle left his throat, and he gently touched his nose to the pup's forehead. See? He could be gentle with kids. "I don't know what you want, runt. Why don't you run back to your family?" He poked her with the tip of his hoof.

Hati stared up at Neiro- tilted her head way back so that she rolled backward. She scrambled back to her feet, yapping as she sat between his front legs. For whatever reason, she'd chosen him - of all the denizens of the forest- to be her companion today. A contented 'Ffffak.' escaped her muzzle.

When the little thing rolled

When the little thing rolled back after looking up too far, Neiro snickered. But when she settled down between his hooves, his smirk faded into a concealed grimace. Damn children. He hadn't invited her. The stag sighed, going back and forth on what to do - settle down too or ditch her. A couple seconds passed before he grumbled and folded his legs to sit, and she was now between his knees.
Neiro's head was lifted again, but was tilted down towards her. "So..." He raised a brow at the pup. She seemed unable to really understand anything, which was kind of frustrating. "You're really tiny, kid. And you probably think you're adorable but you're actually an inconvenience." He said it all with a kind smile. "But sometimes we have to make sacrifices, don't we. It's okay, though - I think this can be fun." Neiro's head descended towards her and his tongue slipped through his pale lips to start licking both sides of her head. He was going to give her a mohawk and she was going to like it.

Hati yipped as the giant stag lay down behind her, and she curled up between his knees. Grooming- grooming was good. Hati's eyes half-closed as the wolf pup began to fall asleep. Her head swayed as she tried to stay awake. It was tough.

Neiro pulled back and admired his handiwork. Yes, the fur between her ears stuck straight up in a little mohawk. She looked like a badass now. His yellow gaze flickered down to her half-lidded eyes and he abruptly frowned. If the pup fell asleep now, he'd have to look over her. Well, he wouldn't have to... but he was pretty sure he'd piss off Shay all over again if she saw him playing babysitter with one of Chrona's spawn. "NO. Don't sleep." Neiro nudged her with his muzzle. "Wake up, runt. Go find your family."

The creature had been looking for the runt for a while now after she randomly decided to go on an adventure, did not take very long until he spotted Hati with Neiro. Chrona snorted, A plume of smoke spewed out from his nostrils watching for a moment at Neiro's sad attempts at being a babysitter. He made his way over a light frown on his tooth filled maw first eying Neiro closely not saying a word as a low and deep growl rumbled from deep within his throat making way for him to speak."Ah, There you are, Peewee. What are you doing out here with this piece of work?" He then asked as his frown slowly curved into a teasing smirk looking back at Neiro with all four of his narrowed eyes.
He obviously was not expecting an answer from Hati but rather, one from Neiro.

Chrona was certainly no ninja. Neiro noticed him immediately and his golden eyes flickered up from the pup to calmly observe her four-eyed father. He was incredibly relieved to see him, actually - he'd finally get this shrimp to leave him alone. The black and white stag's pleasant smile appeared after Chrona called the little thing 'Peewee', and he flashed a brief grin when he was called a piece of work. "Me, a piece of work? I'm not the one teaching my kid to say 'fuck'," he replied with a laugh. He wished he'd thought of that when Kenai was still a fawn.
Neiro lifted himself to his hooves and gave Hati a nudge with his hoof. "Hey, Peewee, your father has come to collect you." And then to Chrona, "What's her name?" He'd try not to laugh if her name was actually Peewee.

@Becca & Kimi: Neiro watched the pup scramble up onto her father's head while both ears faced forward to catch everything her father had to say. "Ah, Hati." He nodded and locked his gaze onto Chrona's eyes again. "She's very cute, and was definitely an unexpected visitor." The stag turned away a bit, more than ready to get moving, but made his movements slow to keep that from being apparent. He dipped his head with a smile as a goodbye to Chrona, and then looked back at the small pup before setting off. "Goodbye, Hati."
