Walked around a bit before spotting someone he hadn't seen in ages: Nikodim. Old memories of speaking with the bull about young Miyako and rough play quickly came rushing back. Approached him and sniffed, and then greeted with a rough nuzzle {or two... or four}. Quite pleased to see the bull around again, though really does wish he could still speak because dat accent. Heard Shay's call in the distance, so went to her.

Nikodim was nearby not long afterwards, and efforts to get Shay to greet him were futile. Still doesn't know what her problem with the bull is, but WHATEVER MAN. Watched Niko leave, but remained with his lady. I'll c u around, buddy.

Romped with Shay, but didn't appreciate the antler makeovers. I am a man and peacock feathers look way nicer on you than me ok. Eventually, after trying to smother her with affection, was forced to sit and ended up being smothered by her on top of him instead. Couldn't really complain.

IDK WHAT ORDER THIS WAS IN BUT
Weird thing with Pan, tried coaxing her closer than she'd approached but wasn't really successful. Didn't even know what he really wanted, or what he would've done if she'd listened. So, inched closer himself, aiming for a sniff. Wasn't sure if she'd try to punch him or anything, but dove in eventually anyway and was sniffed in return. For once there wasn't any violence between them - which felt strange - but then she left, so didn't dwell on it too much before returning to Shay.

Later turned into a mini... thanks for making me cute instead of sexy, Shay |: Ran around with her before turning back to his normal height when she said he wasn't worthy of sitting with her on top of the Ruins' altar. Walked off to their trees, and after an argument about each others' weight, beauty, and sexual drive, eventually ended up cuddling together.

M a l i k o r i n - Neiro holds respect for Malik that he holds for no one else, but still can't help being nosy and wanting to know everything that happens to him. Clashes with more often than not, but the two share a bond that neither could sever. {Younger brother}

T o r i e n - Deceased. Unaware of Tor's efforts to come back to life and his wandering within the forest. Shared a bond with him that was filled with ups and downs during their past. Missed, however. {Younger brother}

R e q u i e m - Often gives in to the temptation of scaring the young stag when bored. At the same time, Neiro is trying to teach him to be bolder, but clearly isn't doing a very good job. Sometimes visits the human world to keep him company or protect him. {Younger brother}

I n a l i - His formerly-deceased sister who revived and returned to the realm of the living. Reunited with her and felt a bit detached from her at first, but has become close to her again over time. Probably spends the most time with her out of the rest of his siblings.

J o r o g u m o - Adopted sister through Malik. Neiro wasn't sure about how to act around her at first after discovering she was aware of his past through Malikorin, but later decided it would be pointless to deceive her. He definitely likes her company and is glad he met her. Thinks about her from time to time, hoping she's doing well.

K e n a i - Biological son from Miyako. Found him by Miya's flower patch, recognizing Kenai's blue eyes that were shared with his mother and then realized the kid was his too. Neiro is naturally repulsed by responsibility, but decided to attempt to be a decent father - he never was able to test his ability, however, since Kenai was rarely around. His son's lack of presence has led to a lack of attachment. Neiro would likely feel disconnected from Kenai should he ever appear again, especially after his broken bond with Miyako.

K a e l t i i r & M i e r a a k - Twin nephews through Malikorin. Has met them both, and is quite fond of them despite not having spent as much time with Mier as he has Kael.

S h a y - His best friend, now something more. Neiro always likes hanging out and talking with her, and she is his preferred company. Discovered a long time ago that she was a vampire and still finds this to be very interesting, but isn't too fond of the fact that it makes her stronger than him. Playing with her is always entertaining, and he enjoys their conversations when they're not arguing. Found his new home thanks to her. Very affectionate towards, often overly so. Has brought her to the human world countless times and is pretty sure she's addicted to chocolate. Refers to her as 'Count Chocula' in his mind, and loves the fact that she has no idea. They've had their ups and downs, but have managed to work through the obstacles in their path each time. Both have romantic feelings for each other that had been brought to the surface, and although they've gone through many conflicts, they're currently 'dating'.

M i y a k o - She was his first real 'friend' in the forest. Was his primary source of affection, but after finally telling her the truth of how he deceived her, broke their bond. Eventually she forgave him, and they rebuilt their relationship on truth. Felt extremely close to her, but snapped when he found out that she died, and suffered as a result. Just when he thought he was able to finally move past it months later, he found her alive. Didn't know what to think at first, but after allowing her to approach and talking with her, things between them returned to normal until her presence became sporadic to nonexistent. Seeing her for the first time in months led to a conversation that went downhill, and now no longer harbors romantic feelings for. Will avoid, especially for Shay's sake.

L a n e - Nuzzles, cuddles, rubs, the like - he only looks forward to these whenever he sees her. Neiro plans on keeping her in the dark for as long as possible in order to continue exchanging affection. She gave him the nickname 'NeNe'. Hasn't seen her in ages.

E v e l y s - After brutally attacking and wounding her, Neiro managed to get himself on her good side. He'll often go to her when she's around, engaging in play and resting beside each other. It's unclear if he really wants to be her friend or if he's only doing this to erase her mind of any desire for revenge. Rarely sees anymore, but still greets whenever he catches her around.

B e r a v e n o n - Evelys' son. The black and white stag is drawn to Bera's naive nature, and always looks forward to opportunities to influence the younger one. Pleased that Bera thinks of him so highly.

I k a e l - Neiro hadn't been friends with Iki for very long before quickly getting along well with her. He has caused trouble alongside her and would happily do so again, and considers her a valuable tie. Their closeness in height allows him to play rougher with her. Doesn't see her anymore, but would still welcome her into his company.

U m a y - Had always thought highly of the lioness ever since first hearing about her friendship with Malikorin, but has been on very unstable ground with her. Pretty sure her idea of him is messed up especially thanks to Pandora, but has since given up trying to change her opinion of him.

O p h e l i a - An acquaintance. She has become a source of curiosity for Neiro after he deemed her behavior on the subject of family unusual. Intended to break her down, but never really got the chance to get to know her before she disappeared from the forest.

P o s e i d o n - Despite thinking Os' need for space is totally absurd, Neiro respected it. He liked the stag and his odd ways, and was willing to protect him from those who might not find the stag's behavior so intriguing. Gone.

R e e d - Neiro thinks highly of Reed. Liked hanging out with him, whether it was messing with others or simply sitting together. Doesn't often see anymore, though.

P a n d o r a - Once a sister-in-law through Malikorin. Neiro enjoyed messing with her. Despite his mischievous mindset towards the obsidian doe, he was still willing to protect her on Malik's behalf. She gave him the title 'Deadsoul'. Furious at her for abandoning Malik, and attacked her in a vain attempt to keep her away from his brother to prevent further hurt. Later approached her for a truce, and despite her claiming she would consider it, was indirectly but harshly denied. Blames her for keeping the family from being whole, especially after her split from Malik - something he had anticipated for a long time. Emotions towards her fluctuate but usually settle on hatred.

Without the slightest idea of what was going on in his mind, she rubbed her forehead gently against his chin and all out of a sudden licked his chin as well. "Mostly I've been shocking everyone by growing up this fast. It created quite the conflict when a dear friend of mine saw me after a while. He.. Well, that's not important." She shook her head briefly and thought about letting that subject go. Let's just say things got ugly. "What about you? How was it spending time with your brothers?"

Long ears lifted to listen. The smile remained in place and her ghostly eyes scanned over him. Her gazed was placed on his own for a few moments. Such a stunning eye color she thought.
She looked away from him and stared into the distance. "Can't say that I don't sleep for a while too though. It gets me away from reality for a short time." It would be a lie to say that she was enjoying her life right now, no matter how happy she seemed. Although, she knew it wasn't really bad and that she should get over it.
"Neiro..." She said under her breath. She liked the name. "Pleased to meet you too." The vampire lifted her body slightly, and quickly moved closer to the stag, so that their sides were just about touching. Her head turned to look at him again, hair covering one side of her face. "You from around here or were you born elsewhere?" She questioned, curious to learn more about him.

Neiro's golden gaze flickered down to lock onto her blue eyes after she licked his chin. He tilted his muzzle to lick her forehead. Ears swiveled forward to listen to her words, and her unwillingness to explain what happened only fueled his curiosity. "Are you sure it's not important? You seem to be bothered by it." He paused when Miyako asked him about his brothers, and a smile spread across his face again. "I only spent time with one of them: Requiem. He's the youngest of us." Of what's left of us. "I found it amusing. He's so awkward with does and he constantly talks about things one couldn't care less about, but I listen anyway. He doesn't talk to many others." A shrug. Maybe he'd introduce Requiem to Miyako one day.

The black and white stag nodded after she mentioned how sleep got her away from reality. "It does..." He trailed off, briefly debating whether or not to ask her his next question but deciding to do so. "Hm, have you ever had a lucid dream?" he inquired casually, arching a brow and tilting his head to the side in a quizzical fashion. In every dream he had, he was lucid, and he gained the ability to control everything that happened. Mostly what he did was bring back memories from the past and replay them in the way he wanted.
Neiro watched her as she came closer, and leaned into her ever so slightly as their sides touched. Black-rimmed ears flicked forward at her question, and another smile plastered itself across his muzzle. "I was born elsewhere, with my brothers Malikorin and Requiem." There were others, too, many others. "And you?"

"A lucid dream? I don't think so..." The doe wasn't even sure what one was, she felt foolish to ask though. "How about you? I have a feeling you have since you're asking. Tell me about them." Another smile. Part of her hoped she wasn't annoying the stag. She seemed to get on the nerves of many with her attitude. "Oh I see. Never met or heard of them I don't think..." She thought for a moment. One of the names seemed familiar, though she couldn't quite place it. "I was born here. Umay is my mother and Plague is my father. I don't really see him much. I normally have to leave here often since it doesn't quite...fit my needs." Her voice went quieter as she finished. Unsure if it was obvious to him that she was a vampire. The fangs sure were noticeable, but must skulls that others wore seemed to have them.

Neiro got the impression that she didn't know what lucid dreams were, and decided he was right to think so after she asked him to tell her about them. He didn't expect most others to know about them. "I experience lucid dreams every time I go to sleep, but I've always been able to since I was young. Lucid dreaming is basically realizing you're dreaming, while you're dreaming. With enough practice, you can even control what goes on in the dream." He quieted when she spoke, nodding over her words about his brothers and then focusing his attention more on her origin. Ah, so she was born here. She didn't see her father often? "But he loves you, doesn't he?" Be grateful if he does, you don't know what kind of a father you could've had. He paused, golden gaze wandering down to her fangs as he thought over her last words. First, he decided he would ask her sometime later about how she escaped the forest. Knowing how to get out would be a good plan if he should ever find himself in need of it. Second... "Your needs as in... blood?" He was making an educated guess here. He had noticed those fangs, and though some other skulls of the forest did have them, hers seemed more prominent. Also, he had watched how she avoided patches of sunlight. He had never met a vampire before, and although he knew of the species, he didn't know the actual term 'vampire'. He'd just ask if she was indeed one.

Shay sat quietly and listened

Shay sat quietly and listened as the stag spoke. Part of her was envious that he could do such a thing. It would be nice to have a dream that she would be able to control. "Sounds pretty cool. Practicing such a thing seems hard, worth it though."
The doe loved her family more than anything. It saddened her to think that her parents were no longer together. Now that her mother was pregnant with another stag's child, it only made her feel worse. She wasn't even sure if the stag liked her. To be honest she didn't like the fact he with Umay rather than Plague, but she knew it made her mother happy. Now she feared that the child would come between them. She could only hope that her father would return to reassure her. "Of course he does, and I love him too." She replied with a happier voice. It was a quick answer, no need to think.
Her ears suddenly lifted and her eyes widened when he spoke again. She didn't expect him to answer with something like that. Did he know or was he just guessing? She couldn't tell. Quite frankly she didn't even know what to say. There was no point lying now though, she wouldn't be able to think of another reason. "W-Well..." She trailed off. Now she was making herself embarrassed. She swallowed before looking at him, eyes returning to normal. "Y-Yes, that. How do you know? Is it-" She looked down at the two long, sharp fangs on her skull. -my fangs?"

Neiro nodded. Lucid dreaming came to him naturally. He hadn't had to do much practicing, but he imagined it would be difficult for others. Across his muzzle spread a thin grin. "Maybe I'll teach you someday." A black-rimmed ear twitched as she promptly answered about her father. Just as she had felt envious of his ability to lucidly dream, he felt a twinge of his own upon hearing about the loving bond she and her father shared. He never had that. None of his brothers did. He broke eye contact then, his golden gaze flickering to the ground and his grin reducing to a simple smile that was now a habit for him to wear.
After a moment the stag looked back up at her, meeting Shay's widened eyes. He held back a larger smile at her expression, and a nod followed her question. "Yes, your fangs were the first sign," he replied. "And then I noticed how you avoided the sunspots while we played. By then I was pretty sure about what you are. When you mentioned how this forest didn't meet your needs... that made me nearly certain. Even so," The corners of his mouth curled ever so slightly, "it was still a bit of a guess. I've never met one of your kind before, so I wasn't absolutely positive." He paused to blink. "What do you call yourselves? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the term, if there is one."

The stag wasn't particularly happy to hear that a lot had happened - in the way she said it, it didn't sound like a lot of good things went down. "Tell me about the good things." Golden-yellow eyes moved to meet her gaze, and thought about what had happened to him while they'd been apart. "Quite fine. I mostly just visited my brothers and spoke with them. You should meet them one day," he said with a pleasant smile.

Not all things were good, but she wasn't going to babble on that now. He had had to listen too many bad things that had happened to her already. "Good things, good things.." She frowned as she thought where to start. "Oh! I learned about my family outside the forest and my brother decided to stay here with me for now. It was nice to finally got to know where I actually come from. " Her deep blue eyes were sparkling she went on and on about her new encounters. "I'd love to meet them one day. How are they?"

Neiro raised both brows when he heard how she had discovered her family outside the forest. How nice of her brother to stay with her, and how nice that she got to know her origins. "Is your family kind? Do you like them?" His pleasant smile turned into a grim one without him noticing. He was thinking of his own past, his own family, but quickly shoved it all away when she asked how his brothers were doing. "Requiem's doing fine. He actually spied on you one day but you didn't wake up." A grin replaced the faltering smile, imagining his little brother watching Miyako from behind a tree. "As for Malikorin, he's never fine. You probably don't want to meet him." A snicker came from the black and white stag then, but it wasn't heartfelt.

"I only met my sister and brother, they were nice. Really nice. They told me that my mother and father aren't too bad either, but my mother's mate is a totally different story. My sister took me here when he tried to.. kill me when I was a newborn." She shook her head, she didn't want to go any deeper there and so let that subject be. Miyako noticed the grin on his face and soon she smirked and nudged him with her nuzzle before curling up to him, inhaling his scent. " He did? You tell him that he can wake me up if he ends up waiting for me to wake up. I don't mind." A shrug before she dug deeper into his fur. "Sure I do, I'd like to know both of them. You're amazing so I bet they are as well."

Neiro wondered for a moment what it would be like to have a sister. Especially a nice one. All of his sisters were-...
His ears pricked when he heard that she had been almost killed when she was a newborn by her mother's mate. He closed his eyes and turned his head away for a moment, but he managed to keep himself from looking as ill as he felt. He clenched his jaws together, and then relaxed them, and opened his eyes to look at her again. "I'm sorry to hear that, Miyako. Good thing you survived. If you meet my brothers, I should meet your siblings too." Neiro's mood lightened when she said to tell Requiem it was all right to wake her up, and a small smile appeared on his features. "I'm not sure he will. You see, he's a bit awkward around does. I doubt he'll have the guts to wake you if he finds you." The stag chuckled and licked her cheek. "Amazing, huh?" She didn't know what she was talking about. He didn't allow himself to be complimented by that because he knew that when he told her the truth, she'd regret saying it. But he grinned anyway. "Sure, sure. You'll be able to tell they're my brothers. We resemble each other in some ways." Certainly not all.

She did not know the said stag who tried to murder her so she did not feel hatred or a need for revenge. If she met him, that would be a whole different story. "Don't be sorry, I'm alive and well so there's nothing be feel sorry about. Hm, I must warn you about my brother. He's kind of.. Well, let's just say I am his little treasure now. " She let out a cheerful laughter as he thought about K fussing over her if Neiro was there with them.
"I'm sure he'd do just fine. I'm not that bad, right?" She gently kicked his side with her front hoof. Playfully as always. She closed her eyes when her cheek got licked. "Good, good. I don't think you'd think K is my brother if you see him wandering around. He's.. well. You'll see."

"You're fine." Very fine. "He's the one with the problems, not you. He'll get used to you after a while and feel more comfortable, maybe." Another shrug. He glanced down at her hoof when she gave him a soft kick, and met her eyes for a fraction of a second before he leaned over to nip her ear as revenge. "Really? I guess I will have to see for myself."

She couldn't help but laugh. "No you silly! He doesn't know you, yet. And he doesn't know to who this alluring scent belongs to." Miyako winked briefly at the male and chuckled. It was nice how he made her laugh. It had been a while since she had laughed this much. "I hope he does. I wouldn't like to make him uncomfortable. " She glanced the forest around them, she had been lost in the conversation with him for so long and forgot about the surroundings. When he nipped her ear, she let out a quiet squeak. When she had calmed down from the brief shock she reached up and licked his lips briefly. Pay back is a biatch.

It shouldn't take him too long to relax after meeting you, especially since he knows you're a friend of mine." The black and white stag burst out laughing when he heard her squeak. What the heck was that?! He was about to do it again but paused when he received a lick from her. A soft sigh and the doe gave

A soft sigh and the doe gave a loud purr as she lay curled up at the stags side. Lane hadn't seen Neiro in awhile and it was nice to be in his company again. "I was surprised to see you again Neiro but anyway I'm happy to see you none the less." The doe purred as she looked over at him. Lane had taken a quick liking to the male and had felt oddly comfortable with him, even now that feeling had not changed.

"I tend to pop in and out of sight," the black and white stag answered smoothly, yellow eyes flickering down to look back at the small doe. A pleasant smile was clear on his muzzle. "Have you been all right while I've been gone?" he asked in a concerned tone. He had noticed a few healing wounds, but really he was curious about who inflicted them. He broke eye contact with her to look at those wounds again, an ear turned in her direction to listen to her answer.

Lane had closed her eyes

Lane had closed her eyes after she had spoken and now as the male asked her of her condition she opened one eye to look his way. "Hmm? Well I have been fine I suppose. Had a little scuffle with Rui and Leviathann over Blue. I was lucky to have Ramsus there though." The ebony didn't go into too much detail concerning the subject as the matter still made her uneasy and upset. Looking back at her pelt she made sure her wounds still looked liek they were healing nice. Turned back to look at Neiro she gave a reassuring smile "What about you? How have you been?" Lane asked.

"I see..." He hadn't met any

"I see..." He hadn't met any of those deer. A fight over someone? "Who's Blue?" His yellow gaze met hers again when she asked how he'd been. "I've been quite well... however, I've been missing two of my friends who I haven't seen in a long while," he said. "I met up with my brothers recently, which was... nice." It had been slightly tense, actually, but nothing serious had occurred. "Other than that, I've been rather bored," he said with a grin.

Blue...? The ebony shifted a little Blue is my son. She replied but then quickly corrected her statement "Adopted son." A tilt of the head at his pause when telling her of his encounter with his siblings. She gave a little shake of the head before smiling again. "Well I'm sure your friends will come around soon enough." Lane chirped before nudging the stags shoulder with her skull. The doe gave a little wag of her tail and a chuckle.

Neiro's brows raised when she said that Blue was her son. That was unexpected. When she added in that Blue was adopted, his expression returned to normal. "Mm. Why would the other deer want to fight you for him?" He smiled when she said his friends would show up eventually. Miyako, whose endless supply of nuzzles and cuddles were always welcomed and eagerly returned. And Shay, whose energy and playfulness were an immediate cure to boredom. "I hope so."

Lane actually gave a chuckle

Lane actually gave a chuckle as she explained to him "Well actually Rui wanted to eat him." The doe watched him, the amused smile still decorating her face. However as she saw him smile and happy memories tug at his brain at the mention of his friends her smile faded. The ebony tilted her head and wondered if anyone got happy like that when thinking of her. Lane put a new smile on her face a gave a wag of her tail. No need to think of such things. She had company now yes? Someone to sit with and talk to.
