💮 As a phouka he can actually shift forms, but apparently he's stuck in his deer form for now. Full transformations are indicated by an all black form with a streak of white.
DOn't restrain him, he'll go full kappa on you

💮 Reanimated and mobile through magic and sustained through the dense spiritual energy in the forest. If somehow he were to have all the magic drained from him it'd be like a nightmare - he won't be able to move, won't be able to talk, won't even be able to blink or move his eyes but he is 100% aware of everything that's happening around him. Given enough time he'd probably be able to reabsorb magic from his surroundings but it'll be super long. Literally a walking vessel of collected, concentrated magic wild magic. No distinction between white, black, witch, demon magic etc, just the pure medium and base for it. Possible use for this mechanism to bring things back to life, if only temporarily.
call him a necromancer if you will but even he's unaware of this ability.

💮 He's pretty much an undead child living his life out in limbo from the time he died. Can be seen with lots of mushrooms growing on him if he doesn't pluck them out regularly. Cold to the touch and can't sense pain and can't feel the heat, which is tragic because he's always looking for the warmest place to sit and hope he can feel something.

💮 Terrified of dogs- cynophobia.

💮 If he stays still for too long blood pools at the lowest parts of his body and appears as dark, ugly bruises. Most of the time looks very pale save when he's been running about - only then does he look alive as blood brings a faint flush to his cheeks.

His eyes are the first thing you might see - the right one is a pale, milky blue and permanently dilated while the other is a dark brown and observes the world around him with fearful movements. They are ringed with long lashes and dark circles. It is clear his blue eye is blind, if his constant flickering gaze is anything to go by.
A fresh crown of pink and red peonies permanently encircles his head, above his flattened ears and below his small horns to cover the large gaping hole present in his skull, a result of past trauma. Further indications of Benedict's rather violent ending can be seen in the vicious burn scar stretching across his right eye and a deep gash surrounded by dry flesh on the left side of his neck. His right eyelid is also missing - presumably ripped off from the force of the trauma that caused his facial scar. Kinda means that eye can't close.

Has small, black, tapering horns (not antlers!!) from the top of his head nestled among ashy brown hair.
Benedict's default expression is worried with his small, short brows drawn up and eyelashes constantly wet with tears about to spill over at a moment's notice. Bit of a cry baby.
His dark freckles stand out against his ashen pale face.

His frame is small and compact, disregarding his gangly, thin legs. Fawn like in stature.

Soft, thin fur covers equally thin skin coloured charcoal grey and black and speckled with cream markings. Has dusty pink, dainty hooves.
Noticeably darker blood - almost black. Can be sludgy or almost clear and runny, depends where he's hurt.
