Questions? Please? c:

ffff i'll only update this a few more times, I promise. I can take a hint. ....I just love questions... ^__^;;;; And they seriously do help me in character development so much!

Yeah, so if you have any questions for me and/or my deer, just ask and we'll see what happens. I may be a tad slow to respond. I'm doing this because I'm bored, but no worries if you have not questions, I can find something else to do. Laughing out loud
(only relevant deer will answer. I have too many to do all, lul sorry.)

Fledermaus

1. Of all the landmarks in the Forest, which is your favorite and why?
Liëka: There is a spot, that isn't really a landmark, but has always stood out for me. If you stand near Mushroom Hill by the Ename Ruins, and head towards the First Forest/Pine Forest boundary, there is a spot where many of the Forest elements combine in a way that doesn't really occur anywhere else. There are three sunbeams fairly close together; two hit purple flowers, one hits poppies. The poppies are near a few trees with mushrooms on, and near to them is a group of Pine trees. Butterflies hover at day, fireflies at night. From this spot, if you head one way a few prances you're in the Birch Forest, the other way the First Forest. There is elements of everywhere here.
...didn't realise I had so much to say on that till I'd started!

Troll: I'd've thought mine was obvious, really. The Waterways of the Forest, Pond and River are my sanctuary. They feel safe. They are cool and calming. I can see the world from there.
Iranu: Speaking for both of us, then definitely the Ename Ruins. So much to work with! We love climbing y'see. In fact, we built a treehouse and keep our odds and ends there. So that would be our favourite, I suppose, but it's not really a landmark (or indeed, accessible) to anyone else, hehe! :Uvavu

2. Do you ever surprise yourself?

New ruling on Artemis

In the light of recent events, I'm going to lay down a final ruling on Artemis:

1) She already has two bi-polar-ish moods, and this will now be made clearer by wearing the skull when violent, and free face (and hair down with a bit of imagination!) when not violent (and therefore all depressed-like)

2) She will only be free of the cage when someone frees her by repeatedly pawing at a cage bar. And I really mean repeatedly; I want it to be absolutely clear if that is your intention. If you free her when she's mad, skulled, aggressive, she will attack you, the person who freed her, and only you. If anyone else willingly joins in a fight, then you are also putting yourself forward, but the person who freed her is still the prime target. If you free her when she's sane, non-masked, depressed, she will run away, and probably wander around following groups of deer from a distance, watching but not interfering. At this point, she is safe to approach, but there's no guarantee she won't just run away from you.

3) Feel free to tease and poke her with sticks if she's caged. Sticking out tongue

All clear? All fair? I hope so.

Just not going to be around *shrugs*

Yeah, thought I might as well make this official, though it's been going on for some time. I'm going to put this matter-of-factly as I can.

I do not like the community site. I never, ever did. I only came here because so many of my friends left the Forums permanently, for some reason, in favour of this place.

I always thought making a blog-like site for TEF was a baaaaaad idea, because it encourages community-first rather than Forest-first, and therefore attracts the wrong crowd. It also makes the community, which up to now had been so precious, small and gem-like, so much easier to find and join. Before, you had to look for the community, because you wanted to, rather than because you felt the community is part of what the Forest is about.

The Community is not what the Forest is about. The Forest comes FIRST.

I personally believe that my misgivings about this place have been proven correct, and tenfold. The friends that I used to have have been lost in a hailstorm of 'droppers-by'. The Endless Forest has been advertised in places that encourage a different type of person, and (in my personal opinion), has become popular with the wrong crowd for the wrong reasons. My fail-safe rule, that an artistic, heavenly, peaceful world like The Forest will always attract the same type of person, is no longer fail-safe. It has been shattered, over and over. It is my personal opinion that the beautiful, beautiful world is lost and can never, ever be found again.

Look at this place. It's a bloody mess. Have you not noticed?

Anyone want a spare pictogram I've ended up with!

I won't explain how (long story short I was explaining how to register to someone), but I've managed to accidentally make a fawn. This is the picto: clicky

I don't want to waste pictogram pattern combinations, so anyone who wants it can have. If there's a lot of people, then first person to reply, I'll send the password to them via contact form.

Thankyou!

~- Quotes -~

I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone has any quotes that are important to them, or just funny/insightful, or lifechanging, or just happens to reflect your own views, because oten other people say it better.

..not really expecting anyone to respond, but what the hey.

“I naturally tend to see the funny side of life. Humour is essential for our survival.
It makes us who we are. Looked at in the right way, there’s nothing that can’t be laughed about.”
-Paul Merton

"As we journey through life, discarding baggage along the way, we should keep an iron grip, to the very end, on the capacity for silliness. It preserves the soul from dessication."
-Humphrey Lyttelton

"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."
-Douglas Adams

...I have more, but my head is woolly and I can't remember any more.

Entering the World of the Sims - 1 (added 3 more)

H'okay, well a lot of people have been making their deer in Sims, so I couldn't resist. |D I'm using Sims2.

I did have a load of screenshots, but unfortunately, I had to delete my deer and house and start again. Which is good, because I get to build the house properly (it was just thrown together before) and because I had more time, all the deer that ought to be related, are.
For now, I only have the 'Family Shot'. More screenies will definitely come later!

Funny, the program got their poses mostly accurate. xD Iranu in the brown jacket, Uvavu being a poser on the floor (they're not related to the other deer, only to each other. I made them roomies), Liëka in the black suit being all composed at the back, Troll in the green sort of awkwardly standing there, FIU (in the red) and (in the purple) looking quite comfortable with each other and generally happy.

NEW STUFFS. I'm now aware just how tiny some of the screenies are, and I've changed it to take better ones in future.

Yay house! It has trees on it yay!

Lalalaa.

Housewarming party!

Mai gahd they're bendy.

Housewarming ....video game fest!

Oh nu the hotdogs exploded.

Just a quick poll-y thing about Sims

I have Sims 2 at the moment, and was completely addicted for a while, then lost interest except for sudden random bursts of total addiction for a few days or so before forgetting about it for a month. I have two questions:

Sims 3 is out in America, yeaaah? I would like to ask AMERICA (and anywhere else it's out before the UK), what's extra? Based on the above information, d'you think there's enough extra/different for me to be interested in buying it?

Okay, and two: is it worth my time making SimsDeer like everyone else on the bandwagon, only in Sims 2?

Thanking ye muchly!

Seriously?

Why is everyone in the Forest either ignoring me or in pairs with someone WHO THEY REFUSE TO LEAVE OR LET ANYONE NEAR?
Today isn't being very fun so far. :C
Raffles is there though. He's been following me around on my quest to find people who will speak to me, looking slightly confused. xD

I might as well just log off and carry on watching That Mitchell and Webb Look...

Does anyone else get this, or is it just me?

'Kay, so I mentioned in my "Liëka has a message" entry that I let my deer develop to themselves. But when I play them, I really feel like I'm almost 'channeling' (I dunno if that's the right word, we'll stick with it for now) the characters of my deer. I don't think through 'What would they do now', it's instinctive, it's what I naturally just do. And it fits the personality of whoever I'm logged in as to a T.

Me being weird-multiple-personality or what?
