Playtime Diaries - 16th Dec (feat. Collector and Vala)

I entered the forest today looking for a little fun, it was a beautiful day with the leaves rustling happily in the trees only for this vision of beauty to be interrupted as I stumbled upon the one they call 'The Collector' I've seen him before from afar but with those rags and all those masks hanging like baubles from his antlers he is not the prettiest thing in the forest however one should not judge a book by its cover and me with other company I never found a reason to go and meet him, many of the other deer are afraid of his antics and the fauns seem to think he brings nightmares with him as he visits when they sleep. I went to introduce myself though he did not seem to appreciate my friendly nuzzle or subsequent bout of jumping and prance him - things that entice normal deer to play and dance with me. He seemed to enjoy casting mask spells for a time though did not appreciate me returning the favour which I did not understand.

Instead he just left trotting off with his head bowed and a look of concentration on his face and I followed for a while not understanding his actions until finally I took the hint and left him be while I went to entertain some fauns with my dancing, I still cant decide how comfortable I am with the little creatures with their lack of antlers and spindly little legs that I fear will break when they run though they never have. I danced briefly with a small red coated deer too though it wasn't long before my curiosity about this Collector got the better of me and listening carefully I tracked down his roar again collecting a mask spell on my way.

I watched from a short distance for a time trying to understand, then finally it hit me.

Iduvine's Diary - The tale of the white dove 3:1

[=#374965]When I woke up today I found myself all lost in this endless forest.
I noticed I had slept between two big trees who's green foliage had given me shelter for the night.
My wounds since yesterday still hurted and it took some time for me to even get up on my feets.
The stag had shown me no mercy and the marks after his sharp hooves was clearly visible.
As my mind started to clear I looked around, I couldn't hear the sound of the purling water as I was used to.
I knew that I was on the edge of the birch forest, everywhere I looked I could see small birch trees growing in the dense pine tree forest.

I turned around and started trott away from the birch forest I knew that the pond laid almost in the middle of the pine tree forest. As I finaly heard the familiar sound of purling water I trotted a bit faster. At the pond I was able to quench my thirst with the crystal clear water... It felt so smooth flowing down my throath.
When I was done drinking I walked towards my usual resting place, the crying idol.
On my way a stag showed up, his fur was white as snow and he wore the skull mask.
Because of my earlier meetings with stags didn't end that happily I was very careful and showed him that I absolutley not wanted to fight, but he looked at me as I was crazy and then greeted me friendly. I snuffled at him and then backed of a few steps in case he would try to hurt me. He looked at me again and laughed and then he wanted to play with me.
I looked quite confused on him and shaked my head, my muskles hurted and I didn't want to play at all. He seemed to understand me.

I followed him around for a bit, his friendly gestures had made me feel safe in his company and he didn't seem to mind me at all. It was acctually the opposit, he protected me against strangers I didn't feel safe around and this white stag seemed to gain my trust even more.

Visions

The first screenshot is normal, the rest are experiments... I'm trying to figure out how far I can edit a screenshot to tell a story about an alternate vision of the forest, while allowing the image to maintain some of its original elements. If you like or don't like something about one of the images, I'd like to hear it - critique is welcomed

Iduvine's Diary - The tale of the white dove 2:1

[=#374965]My third day in the forest started of well.
I woke up next to the crying idol, the beautiful popples was dancing with the wind.
I layed there for a moment and enjoyed the wonder of nature, but after some time I got up on my feets and carefully looked around. I could see some deers playing at the pond and as I stood there litening to the purling of the crystal clear water i suddenly felt how thirsty I was. I trotted down the small river on my way to the pond, as I took my first steps out in the cool water I slowed down and started to walk. When the water reached my knees I stopped, lowered my head to the clear water surface and started to drink.

When I came up from the water I once again looked around, the forest was very quiet at this time. I started to walk through the forest not knowing where to go.
I passed a little lonley fawn on my way through the birch forest and it started to follow me.
I'm not very fond of fawns, all they know about life is that it's a game. They play around al day long, that's not someting I enjoy. I tried to tell the little one that he should leave but he didn't listen to me, I got quite fustrated but instead of chasing him of I layed down and stayed there until the little fawn got bored and ran his way.

As I went back to the pond I saw that it had gotten more crowded since I left it and I stood hidden behind a tree and watched the other deers running around.
One of the deers I recognized from yesterday, the deer with remarkable big antlers and glimmering masks hanging from them. I was wondering why this stag were wearing masks on his antlers but after some time I didn't think of that no more. When I once again were on my way dow to the pond to drick a big stag showed up in front of me, he weared no set at all and looked exactly like those nameless deers. I backed away from him as I felt usure of what his intensions was but he followed.

New years resolution.

I know, its a long time until New years day. Well, not a long time, but a couple of weeks is enough to decide, right?

I've made mine, one for the internet and one for my real life.

My new years resolution for TEF is... well.. I cant apologise because the 'S' word is a hard word for me to use. Its thrown around alot, too, so it means less then it would a few years ago. And a person can only say sorry so many times before it becomes meaningless.

What Im going to try to do, is try to be better with this community. Try to fit in, try to be nice, try to behave. No more 'rude' replies, no more bitchy comments and no more threads that pulls the community down, not anymore.

Im going to co-operate.

Im going to be nice.

And I hope thats enough for you. I will be apologising to specific people, only those who I know deserve it.

I am going to start posting art/stories now, putting mature contents on them and stuff... and I have a little demon progress going on, just a little fun~

One happy day in the Forest...

At first Rain felt kind of insecure. She roamed the Forest for a wile but it seemed as if she was alone, like in one of those nightmares when you are all alone in an empty world... Every time she saw a glowing picto it turned out its owner was asleep... She wondered around for a while. And just as she began to think that maybe it would be for the best to lie down and sleep herself, she met a cute little company consisting of a fawn and a bunny who followed the fawn wherever he wnt. That was so adorable! Rain was uplifted and decided to play with them. Using the forest magic, she turned into a bunny herself. They had a lot of fun running around.

A little bit tired from all the running, they rested near the pond with some other deer...

Then Rain said goodbye... She loved playing with fawns and deer but she never really sticked to some pack. She comes out of the depths of the forest in search of company when she is depressed or lonely and then dissapeares again...
But surprises of this day weren't over. On her way to the Crying Idol, Rain met a very nice deer. They ran around for a while... And then he walked her to the Idol where they said their goodbyes...

Rain was happy o get to know all of you guys!) Hope to see you again!

Fallaces sunt rerum species [Furfur Diary 3]

Your eyes see a snowy pelt and grinning face. You joker you say. You grin and smile while the rest of us suffer in hardships and quarrels. You lucky one with your soul set free. You've been beyond and look at you! So pleased and happy as if it were all a joke.

"I do it all for you. I could have any mask in the forest and yet I pick that which brings glee to the living. "
