They have always existed in secret. Exploring the shadows of the forest alone.
They come out when no one is awake. To wonder the wilderness in search
of something they have yet to find. Walking between worlds. Awake and asleep.
They wonder.
Gently, they search the forest for the strange and unexplained.
Objects of mystery, glitchings, strange forest happenings and more -
These findings are all cataloged in
a small blue booklet, wrapped with red string.
Mezzanine is obsessed with finding these oddities and spends most of their time looking for
new things they have never seen. Though to be honest, with their age and the amount
of time they have spent in the forest over the years, new findings can be
quite rare.
They are especially fond of the Deermuda Triangle and spend a large amount of time
lost in the "inbetween", sinking deep into the soil and then walking towards the blackness.
Something about that place feels comforting.
Maybe its just the little birds that somehow, also find themselves caught up in this mysteries place.
Cataloging their findings feels like the only thing they can do that gives a sense of comfort
from an agonizing mental illness that hunts their every moment. They find peace while getting lost
in their never ending search to find and document the oddities that exist in the forest.
