Has regarded Kato as a friend for as long as she can remember, a bond that has been steady and secure to her through the years they've known each other and has never once doubted it or Kato's intentions. To her Kato is a pillar that has always been there to offer shelter and something to lean on when she's needed it the most, always with such care and softness when the storms in her life have been harsh on her. A bond that, despite prolonged absence from the forest itself, only has grown more solid with time spent outside it.
Finds him to be too good for this world, that it's undeserving of Kato and all that he has to offer. Admires him all the same for remaining so kind through everything, for how hard he's been working for his family.

An unlikely bond that has grown with time despite their vast differences, but perhaps that's why it has managed to take root. Still tentative with her place in Rhys' life, feeling like she's a puzzle piece that doesn't quite fit in if only for how different their lives are, does recognize that Rhys' has still remained a steady friend over the years despite this. Her reservations have melted away over time and while she might not always agree with his way to handle things, is far more understanding of it than she used to be.
