Some of you may have known that I went hunting this past week... well.....

So it's not in plain view, please only click read more if you can handle the fact that I hunt.
I don't want to offend anyone by having this wide out in the open.

SO HAPPY 8D

It's just a spike, but he was pretty big and I'm most definitely proud of him and myself for getting him 8D

Wow, what do you hunt with?
I know a few people who hunt with crossbows, which I've always thought was pretty cool.

I can understand why you

I can understand why you posted it, and a first is always exciting...but I think it's safe to say there is a big chance hunting in general is frowned upon by a few players here. This is, after all, a peaceful, herbivore oriented game Sticking out tongue

I for one don't think of you any less for it. Smiling

I started with racoons, lawl.
(not for the faint of heart, way worse than just shooting something. They scream.)

And terabetha, I use my Grandfather's old hunting rifle. It's a .270 Weatherby Magnum
When he passed away he gave it to my dad and my dad decided to just give it directly to me.

Tally, I actually started out with other smaller animals (ground squirrels -theyareeverywhere- and a few other small ones.) But since it was my grandpa's rifle and my very first elk, I was just too happy to wait.

Yeah, I just wish that I got

Yeah, I just wish that I got to spend more time with him than I did.
The first year I got to go to Elk hunting (just staying in camp, not actually hunting because I was still to young) was his last year to go. Afterwards his health just started to decline until he passed away a few years ago.

I CAN PICTURE THAT TOO.

Personally, I don't have a problem with legal hunting. Congratulations! I would like to do so someday. I have only shot my dad's 12 gauge shotgun (Remmington) a couple of times, but it's a start!
