You have multiple things for 'body' for one. I see multiple places where you have body{something here} written. The first one (in which case, is the background of the blog you're seeing now) will cover all others. Go back and take out each place where you have 'body {coding here}' written except body { background-image: url(http://i47.tinypic.com/2mcyf52.jpg);. That might help some.
