.: Sylphide's Bio :.

Name: Sylphide

Name Meaning: Mythical spirits of the wind. Muses.

Name History:

Sylphs are immortal non-physical beings which have and are souls. These beings are the artists who form the clouds, in their wispy and thin forms, e.g., horsetails, feathers, etc. The typical cirrus, and cirronimbus formations are expressions of the Sylphs. Sylphs do inhabit the same volume of space as the air, but their actual Being resides in the physical vacuum, as a coherent holographic form of energy. Sylphs are not typically visible to the untrained eye.
Sylph is a faux-mythological creature in the Western tradition. The term "Sylph" originates in Paracelsus, who describes sylphs as invisible beings of the air, his elementals of air.

New fawn .:Aegle's Bio:.

Basic Information:
:Name: Aegle (means- light)
:Birthday: March 24, 2009

Personality:
Aegle is a very timid, young, small fawn. She is terrified of most deer and normally does not approach them. She not only fears deer but also large objects of the forest, such as rocks. She trusts very few deer, as of now only one deer. She enjoys being alone, though sometimes she needs company. Though, if you approach she normally will run away.

-More Coming Soon-

To the very kind deer who played with her today, I would love to know who you are so Aegle can see you again.

Really Now?

How come I keep running into mean deer. I do nothing and then they start doing the mean sign, and bucking and stomping. Seriously? Timber hates fighting, and these deer are being ridiculous. It seems like they are "protecting" their "mates. But Timber is trying at your frieking mates! He could give a crap less! I simply walk over and some stag comes running over all pissy. Get outta my face plz k thanx. I simply just laugh. But I am very annoyed. This happen yesterday also. Seriously this never happen, it seems like their are mean deer these days. :/

Little dears :-)

Rain woke up from a feeling of being watched. She nervously opened her eyes. Yep! A few pairs of sparkling big curious eyes were looking at her. She was surrounded by a bunch of little cute fawns! She got up and stretched, Well, it looks like today is gonna be a handfull!) Maybe it was because of spring, or maybe cause she was afraid to be alone now, her maternal instincts were always ringing a bell. She never liked it when fawns were left unattended. She nuzzled them, guarded them (spring influenced stags can be really vicious to them) watched them play, they chased butterflies, rolled in flowers, drank from the pond and rested under old willows... Rain really enjoyed all the fuss little dears were making. Such lifeaffirming, positive little darlings!

Set explanations

Killing boredom by following one of the latest trends.

Scape
Pelt - nightfall: Not genetic. In fact, if Scape were au natural, he would be "naked". Laughing out loud I chose this pelt for him after one of his days as a fawn, when a stag, a few fawns, and he were part of a mini-herd. The pelt got cast on Scape, so the stag decided it should be their "herd color", and they all wore it the whole time they were on. This was during Mardi Gras last year, when spells were sticking to fawns.

Mask - orca: For no other reason except that I liked it.

Antlers - orca: As you know, they're not genetic, but I they seemed fitting for fawn-Scape. He got them around the same time as the mask, and I thought they went well together. I'm not sure what day he started to wear them, but all but my first screenshot of fawn-Scape shows him in them. The mask and antlers are where he got his name from in fact. I thought the orca mask and antlers seemed goat-like, and looking at his picto, I thought it looked like a landscape. "Goat" and "landscape". "Landscape" and "scapegoat". Land|scape|goat... You can see where I'm going with this. =] So that was it. The set he always wore until spells sticking to fawns was over, but got back as a stag.

Magnet
Pelt - golden butterfly (gold swirly): I wanted a different deer from my dark, short-antlered stag, and I hadn't seen many deer wearing the gold pelt. I wasn't too into it at first, but I grew to really like the golden butterfly pelt.

Mask - real deer: For the same reason as the pelt, I wanted something different. I felt that Scape's little brother would want to be more "deerlike" than Scape was. The mask also goes really well with the golden pelt.
