Written in Time

Why no one Remembers
Solitary Silence comes and
Floods your mind with cloudless memories
Lil did I know that soon
you would admire them just
as much as the trees do
Shaking like a deing leaf
Swallowing all your greif
come to me child and we will all
be forgotten
Never thought I would come out
Never knew you wouldn't
scream & shout
Come with me we shall slowly
swallow our sorrows
Breaking little at a time
Shaking roots, Fixing time
Slowly forgeting we aren't alone now

More than you would like to know
Poor wicked Child
Fallen in your own plans
Breaking down your trees
undeing breath
Leaped when had the chance
But when you unfolded
the truth
You couldn't understand
Now were Losing
Now were creating
Truth be told
some people know more than we can
understand

Clementine's Ballad / Why we are not suprised when our heroes fail
Walking never
seemed so hard to
do
once I layed my arms arround you
This feeling is like winter
When every thing started to turn blue
I could still see right threw you
Bleading from your own scars
Childlike wishing is far
to endless
far to deep for
me
Never thought
I had to say
Please just go away
My brother I hope you will find forgiveness
even though you never really
needed it
Take me with you when you leave
Cause I know now
That you are not
the only one that bleeds
Take me with you when you decide to
leave

:: Of Purple Flowers And Silver Stags ::

[=9]You will not witness many written words from my hoof, but my being strongly felt the need to pour out every feeling it has been holding down.
My experience with this lovely paradise goes back far, but my social skills are equal to those of a newborn fawn. Meaning that I would rather crawl up to the thick, warm fur of my mother, than to look into the eyes of a stranger and awkwardly bow before them with shaking legs. I will not tell you my name, for it does not clear up any questions you might have about me, neither will it make your contact with me any more pleasant.

Until this rainy day in May I thought I had witnessed all the wonders in the world, but I was wrong.
I have been wandering this forest unnoticed, like a spirit, for a very, very long time. But recently I shook of my invisible coating and threw myself out in the open. A wise choice? I have yet to find out.

Today I woke up cold and shaky, my head still pounding from the short amount of sleep. I found myself in a purple flower patch, like usually. Only this time the fluttering butterflies, with their powdered wings and fragile bodies had disappeared, together with the warmth of the sun. Slowly I stood up, silently exploring the area around me. I was sleepy, but not tired. I was cold, but not freezing. I was on my own, but not lonely. I decided to treat myself with some of the purple beauties and went for a little stroll.
I tried to keep my attention focused on the marvellous creation called nature, but I kept slipping away. A familiar scent was taking me, forcing me to follow another road. Please understand me when I say I had no saying in this, no power. My legs were forced to track down the scent, the scent of someone I had become obsessed over.

My Humble Request

I have asked for and received Michael and Auriea's blessing to do The Endless Forest Ballet, and Auriea suggested I ask all of the Forest Dwellers if you have any ideas for music, costume, story ideas... we plan on crediting all contributors accordingly and since this is where the idea was born, this is where it should begin to grow. SO! If you have any ideas, send me a message through the link to our studio website in my profile. This ballet will belong to all of us. Thank you so much... love to all!

Helplessness -Part 3 of Aegle's Story-

Part 1
Part 2

_______________________________________________________
This is from Aegle's perspective, therefore in first person

I awoke again deaf, there was no noise. But I also could not see anything but myself. I was just lying there, limp, cold. I was outside of my body, looking at myself helplessly.

I walked over to my cold body and could only stare. Was this what I had become? A worthless, limp, cold being?

My eyes scanned over my coarse, unkempt fur. I leaned over and gently tugged my body. It's eyes opened. They were no longer a bright purple but a piercing black.

I watched as fog encircled my body. I yelled "Wake up!". I panicked as my body still lay their helpless as the dark came. It ate me whole. I was the dark. And no one could stop me.

I awoke in the shallow part of the pond. Shivering. It won't stop now, it can't stop. I can't hide it from them anymore. It will soon consume me.
______________________________________________________
This another of the dreams Aegle has had. I'm trying to build on it but basically the dark is why she fears everyone. The dark is more of a force than legitimate darkness or a being. It tortured her a fawn but you'll know more later. Aegle always held back her dreams, trying to be happy around her friends so they wouldn't know whats going on, but she can't any longer.

A summer's night (short story)

Based on an experience I just had...

The young man opened the sliding glass door and let his dachshund out into the back yard. He flipped on the outside light and stepped onto the wooden porch, as the dog bolted out and ran out to the darkness of the yard. The man took a few steps off of the porch, looking around at the yard. He could see the full moon before him, partially covered from the silhouettes of trees. To his left, he could see the sky light up with static electricity - it appeared to be a lightning storm without thunder. In addition, several bullfrogs started croaking in seeming rhythm - he could tell the sound was coming from the trees before him.

He saw a flash before his eyes, and looking to the sky, he saw the flash again. "Oh it's an airplane...", he said to himself, and expected to see the flash continue in a line...but instead, the blinking light took a sharp left turn. He looked away to see if his dachshund was still doing her business, then looked back to the trees. He saw the flash again, and was surprised when it blinked before the silhouettes of trees. "That can't be an airplane!", he said, and focused on the light.

A lone firefly drifted around his back yard, flashing it's light every few seconds, sometimes dimly, other times very brightly. He knew his mind wasn't playing tricks on him, and for the next few minutes, he stared blankly around the back yard, watching the insect blink as it maneuvered through the trees. This was a rare sight for the man, as fireflies usually flew deeper into the woods rather than in his back yard.

He suddenly had a sense of nostalgia, his childhood was full of trips where he and his family would stay in a chalet on a mountain or in a wooded area, and every time he would run outside and chase the fireflies as they danced with one another. He wanted to go back there again, and had the immediate realization that summer had arrived.
