Thud, thud, thud, scraaaape.

A small hoof broke the ground, scattering pebbles and leafy debris. Just a small, insignificant groove in the hard soil, but lifting a slender banded leg, the doe thrust the nail forward again, digging in and dragging it across the rough, solid surface. A slightly deeper furrow emerged. The rhythm continued, back and forth, back and forth, a pile of unsettled earth accumulating as she dug. Shadows drifted across her path, drawing her head closer, tangled brown locks slipping across her neck and messily framing her masked face. Her tired eyes strained to focus on her work.

It was a dark day. Storm clouds drifted overhead, blocking out the sunlight - not that there was much sunlight to be had in the little shaded alcove deep in the forest. Not a single drop had fallen though...no moisture to soften the soil and lessen the strain of her task. No matter. She wouldn't wait. Flattening her ears in determination, she shifted to her other leg, resting the one that ached to continue the task without rest.

I'm planning on re-doing Seed's bio very soon...Or, at least, making some sort of improvements to it.
So, I figure one thing that will help with this is actually getting all my fan-art, character appearances in stories, and other stuff in one place. So, if anyone has ever written him into a story, or done some sort of fan-work (art, writing, whatever) for Seed, could you check if you're on the list in his bio, and if not, let me know and supply a link for me?

Throughout November through til mid December I am offering up specially priced commissions. Why? Because my efforts to find a new job have thus far been unsuccessful and on December the 12th, my place of work will close and I will be made redundant. This is a particularly scary thought because I do not have job security and I have to do lots of adult things like pay rent, bills and care for animals and myself. Thus far, my prospects of finding a job in a larger city are looking far greater...but it costs a lot to move.

What I am offering

I am offering $50 AUD commissions flat rate, a cell shaded character with simple-advanced atmospheric effects and simple backgrounds.

I've recently taken up needle felting. Thought I'd post pictures of the things I make here because so far they are all Endless Forest characters.
Sorry for the terrible picture quality. All these were taken with my phone. Tomorrow I'll try to get some better pictures. c:

Anyway, my first attempt was a little Eve.
She's two and one fourth inches tall and four inches long. Took about 2 hours.

Second attempt, Wetterhound's Behr.
He's about five inches tall and six inches long. Took me about 3 hours.

Third attempt, this time with a wire armature, Kaoori.
She's about three and a half inches tall and three inches long. Her wire armature makes her more stable than the other two, and she is slightly pose-able. Took 4 hours to complete.

It seems like there has been a big upswing in the amount of stuff getting posted here on The Endless Forest Community site that has nothing to do with TEF or Tale of Tales. I've absolutely nothing against members coming together to support one another in times of need; people being able to vent here is something I've come to appreciate and respect. There aren't many places online where people can feel comfortable enough to share what's bothering them and I love that about TEF.

However, there are hundreds, thousands of other sites where you can share your art, stories, poems, and conversations with other people. This site is for The Endless Forest, I know I for one come here to see things related to TEF. I'm not going to become some sort of content-police, going around commenting on everything that isn't directly TEF related because that's not my place. One blog where you collect non-TEF art or stories is fine in my book! A lot of people take this curtsey and I thank those that do, it makes finding what I come here to see much easier.

This isn't me telling you what you can and can't do. I know some people will assume that but I can't control what any of you do, just like you can't control what I do. It's a give and a take here on TEFc, but I'd figure that I would throw this out here and see what others thought about it. Let me know! I'm not going to be mean to you I promise, even if you don't agree with me I would love to hear why!

ps. Please don't call each other mean things ect, in the comments here. I don't want this to get out of hand or anything, if it does I might be forced to eyeroll and headshake. We don't want that.
