In Photoshop create a new layer of reddish-yellow color, and using "Screen" blend mode. Then I increase the color saturation and sharpness.
About the small pictures, I use BB-code:

[@URL=picture][IMG]picture[@/IMG][/URL@]

you have to remove the @ symbol
