she's got the invisible smile [ lyrical poetry ]

I was struck by inspiration in the kitchen and had to write it down before I forgot the first four lines. Improvised the rest aloud, and this is what came out.





She's got the invisible touch
She's got the invisible smile
I don't know where she's gonna take me
And it might take a while

She says she's gonna leave me
And I just wanna cry
She's got me caught in her web
Wanna die, wanna die

'Cause I love her so much
With her invisible touch
I know she don't cry (so sly) but
Cry, crocodile

And I know that she lies
And I know she can't smile
But I wish she'd just hold me
Let me breathe for a while

She's got the invisible touch
And it might take a while
But one day I'm gonna feel it
She'll be mine, she'll be mine

I kid you not when I say that

I kid you not when I say that this is the first piece of poetry I've heard and liked. Like, really liked. Because generally, I think poetry sucks. But this. This is really good.


Edit; No offense to all other who do poetry, just never really 'understood' them like this. >_>'
