` Requiem is generally friendly, but his reserved and shy nature makes it difficult for him to meet others and build bonds with them. He also seems to lack the ability to maintain any friendships because he spends the vast majority of his time in the human world - even there, he is usually always using his laptop in the basement of the home he shares with his siblings.
` Forgives easily, underlying trust issues
` Cannot stand being touched without having initiated it himself - likely has a case of haphephobia. His reactions can vary in severity, but are strongest when strangers are involved. The more familiar he is with someone, the less likely he will panic, but he will still probably suffer from numerous other symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, trembling, and breathlessness. The only individuals who are able to touch him usually without noticeable reactions are his blood siblings.
` Nervous around does - stammering, lack of eye contact, etc.
` Afraid of the dark. Requiem was born alongside his siblings in a dim cave where he spent the majority of his life before discovering the forest, and horrific things happened to all of them there. Imagines beings from his past coming out of shadows, and even though it never actually happens of course, the thoughts and feelings are often powerful enough to make him leave a room or area. In the human world, never turns off the lights even when he sleeps and always turns them on when he's moving through the house.

The words were a little settling,
and maybe it was because the stag was dead on.
She forced a smile,
nodding her head in subtle agreement.
I will take things as they come and go.
The past seems a little uncomforting,
for some reason.
She sort of frowned, head tilted a fraction of an inch.
Her memories were in fragments.
They were like physical things, really;
she'd find them wedged and hiding in the strangest places.
She listened to his words, but could tell their was thought behind them,
feelings and emotions not put on display.
It is not all one-sided, though.
Others should make such an effort, not just you.
She hoped the correction in her words would bring some comfort.
Although, this was highly contradicting;
she almost never approached others.

Do you get flashbacks?
If you get negative emotions with those flashbacks then maybe that's why it seems unsettling to you.
He listened to her speak again, and looked away for a moment before turning back to her.

A-And that doesn't really bother me, if I know I will.

Requiem struggled to keep his smile at her question.
They're... um, well, they're sort of like empty shells, to be honest. Malik is all right company if he's in a tolerating mood... but Neiro... it's probably best if you don't meet him. The young stag laughed nervously. He's not the best company to have around, really. But it's okay to meet Malik. If he knows that you know me, he'll probably be nicer.

Not flashbacks, per say, but
but more... just feelings.
It's like dread filling up my entire being,
but I can't pinpoint why I get it.
So, I guess it must be a calling from my past.
Maybe it was flawed logic,
but her reasoning was enough to bring comfort.
She spoke lazily, her voice drawling without much concern.
She then listened to him once more as he spoke,
wide eyes blinking with curiosity.
Ah, they will.
If no one made contact with others,
the forest would be dead, mm?
Everything shall work out either way.
She spoke with confidence,
for the doe knew this much was true.
