A cold breeze flowed through the forest as the signs of winter approached quickly. Envy awoke slowly, his eyelids fluttering. Auds twitched as his senses came back. The taste of blood at the back of his throught {sp?} yet again. As he tried to stand spots of light trickled across his vision. Shaking his head to get them to go away, they only turned black, covering his entire vision. All that he could hear was the splashing of the pond's banks.
Suddenly the memories of a past life hit him like a brick wall. Stumbling about he splashed noisily into the pond before sitting down, the world spun uncontrollably as Envy tried to make sense of what was happening. Scents and sights overflowed his senses as he hopelessly tried to make sense of it all.
A feeling of dread washed over him, like the lapping water at his sides. His dark hair splayed across the top of the water, making green reflections on the sandy floor. Eyes fluttered again as Envy tried to look about him, still the scents of old friends were returning to him, causing him to feel lost, and utterly small and alone in such a big forest. Worry crept upon him, but without warning blood was clawing its way out of his mouth. Hacking uncontrollably, his body rocked with it as blood pooled around him.
