Returned to the forest with Ymir, only to lay eyes on a massive group of fawns which made his longing for children become almost unbearable. Kinda sitting around wondering when their chance to be parents is going to come along while moping like a big sparkly lump of sad fae. . 4/5/2015 Started out a normal boring day. Ymir asked if he could love. Well of course. Kinda let his emotions run rampant and ended up boldly kissing Ymir. Confessed his feelings to Ymir. Headed into a weird sub-realm of Fairy to do the dirty. Has a partner!? ----------- 3/12/2015 (Cue lazy updates, cause player is lazy.) -Forest is gross and wet and rainy. Ew. -Found Ymir right off the bat with minimal self wondering. -Curled up in the oak all gross and shivery before getting the great idea that they should build a boat out of crocus petals. -Built said boat. -Super excited, pushed boat into the pond and climbed aboard. Held his weight really well so urged Ymir to join him. -Got about three whole minutes of boating in before the petals collapsed in on themselves due to too much weight. -What the hell Ymir, are you made of metal or something?! -Oh wait...You are. -Floundered around in the water like a drowning dog before somehow making it to shore. Drenched to the bone and looking really pathetic. -Um. Where is Ymir? -Major internal freak out with a lot of inner screaming. Paced around the edge of the pond. -The damn homunculus flipping WALKED OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE POND!!??! -How the hell did you not drown?!?!? -Oh yeah, you don't have lungs.... -Heavy breathing as panic subdued and he stood dripping like a drowned rat. While Ymir shook like a lucky dog to get the water off. Yeah... Can't do that and risk getting frizzy. -Walked back to the oak and sat down to cuddle and talk. -Kissed Ymirs brow and rested at ease. -Wouldn't have been able to live with himself if the grey hadn't surfaced. -What is this feeling gripping at his heart? ----------- 12.2.2014 Rejoined the land of the living after spending immense amounts of time alone. Gifted a young borzoi pup with bells and promptly settled near Lilu to cuddle the child. Was promptly surprised by Ymir, whom he greeted with bounds of joy and excitement. Rubbed all over him and was generally happy. Cuddled silently for a bit before scenting Herla, roused Ymir and headed out to greet his second closest friend. Met the Red Eyed Queen with an embrace. Though he overstepped his typical reserved politeness, couldn't help but submit to temptation at least once. He'd missed both his friends greatly during his 'thinking time'. Settled to talk to them both, while pressed flush against Ymir. Pleased when the nervous golem rested his head upon his back, his own tension dispersing. Spoke to Herla vaguely about his night terrors. Was offered medicine to aid in sleep, declined due to the fact he'd rather not be trapped within such horrors. Once the blue doe and her daughter left attempted to talk to Ymir about his issues. However was interrupted by the alert of trouble. One of the fawns under his protection had become endangered. Stood and prepared to brace himself for impact while directing the child into the safety of his belly. Was met head on by a rage fitting Kyrian. After battling it out and protecting a total of three fawns and a child, ended up torn half to shit and burnt to hell and back. Tended to Freya with cool wet moss before going into shock and collapsing onto Ymir crying. Promptly fainted. Badly burnt, black eye, and multiple cuts and bruises. Hair is still fabulous though. ------------------------- Awoke to pouring rain, upsetting cause hes sickly and delusional. Hind leg has become filled with pus, the infection taking a tole on his body. Managed to make it to the old oak before leaving due to the crowded space, fever made him think everyone was annoyed which therefore pissed him off. Though, no one said anything. Scented the fae family, moved towards them and took cover under an arch. Too feverish to persue conversation or even ask for aid. Upset that Ymir isn't around to help, unsure as to where he got off to. Head hurt too badly to stay awake, too cold. The moist ground made it worse. Leg hurt like hell, moving all the way from the pond to the ruins on his own took -ages-. Got lost a few times, ran into trees, very degrading for the fae. Fell asleep hugging a marble slab thinking it was his mother, seriously, he's going nuts. Fevers do weirrdd things April 21st, 2014 ~ Being the polite kindly soul he is, he attempted to cheer up a sullen ram(Bagel). Offering kind words and gentle nudges, he coaxed the male awake only to be faced with curses and insults that left a nasty stinging in his heart. Never had he been faced with such choice words when providing comfort. It greatly upset the pale stag, to the point where his emotions got the better of him and he outright slapped the foul mouth that has muttered those rotten phrases. Turning his back on the ram he moved to where he knew he was welcome. Trotted happily towards his recently acquired friend Ymir and a stranger who seemed to be acceptable company. Little did he know that while his back was turned the temperamental ram would slam into his rear leg, shattering the fragile fae bones and igniting a fire within Genty's body. Instant rage overcame his features as his rarely seen anger bubbled to the surface, causing the plants to go wild from the mass amount of magic leaking form his body. Blahblahblah Long story short, Genty ended up fainting from the amount of energy used to wield his magics, which caused his mother to surface. Screaming and yelling she ordered those around her fallen son into action and within no time he'd been warmed and cared for. The bones in his leg were in absolute ruin, binding and even setting them wouldn't do much good, especially with the way Fae healed. He'd need a healer and there wasn't one around. Talu, the butterfly doe managed to drag demon woman into the mix. In which, she attempted to take Gentys injury. Genty awoke, didn't feel righting having someone else take his pain onto themself and pulled it back onto himself. Needless to say, the poor guy isn't going to be moving around much for the next few weeks, unless, he grabs the attention of someone adept in Fae injuries. Someone who has knowledge about how carefully rebreak the rapidly healing bone so that he isn't left limping for he remainder of his forest life. |

Unable to glamour a consistent shine that emits from his being. • The necklace he wears around his neck contains the soul and essence of his mother. • Adorned with twenty-four golden bracelets. To be given a bracelet symbolizes his protection. Additionally, there are four gold and blue diamond bracelets that are family heirlooms . • Flower crown changes with the seasons and is a living organism. Additionally, the falling petals act as seeds. • Genty's family sigil is a raising sun over a field of flowers. This can be seen upon his necklace. His family's colors are gold and blue. Often represented by blue diamonds in jewelry. • Plagued with heterochromia, it is genetic and a symbol of his bloodline. • Woven within his hair, tail and fetlocks are thousands of little gold bells. The bells seem to emit a living essence. • Adores children due to the rarity of fae being able to conceive. Will protect children with his life. • Keeps a flourishing flower garden year round. •His bells are created from fae magic and will explode and reform upon him if stolen. However, if they fall off and are found or are given, they are safe. • He is able to speak and understand most languages due to his fae blood. • It is impossible for Genty to lie. Physical Features ... Genty's fading red to cream fur is both short, soft, and dense. It's speckled with white freckles, that will never fade with age. Much akin to a chinchilla's in texture, he is highly prone to colds when exposed to the elements. His fur has difficulty drying after becoming wet, therefore he limits his exposure to water and attempts to avoid rain. Both winter and summer are harsh on him due to his inability to shed. Winters more often than not keep him coped up inside , while summers cause him to laze about in the spray of the crying idol. It is only in summer he willingly enters the water, knowing that the sun will swiftly whisk the moisture from his coat. Fall and spring are when he's most active. He has a delicate build with seemingly little muscle tone. Due to the fact he's never been a warrior but a magic wielder, he actually doesn't have much physical strength. He is quite leggy and his bones are thin and light. Hollow at the core, they are perfectly suited for running but are useless for fighting. Easily broken, he avoids conflict as much as possible. His facial features are undeniably fae, angular yet subtly soft. Long tapered ears are farther proof of his heritage. High cheek bones and his smooth nose cause him to look as if he's aloof or cynical. Which is mostly deceiving. His large dual toned eyes are high set and almond shaped. They're fringed with thick blue black lashes that match the flowing hair upon his head. His brows are thin for a male and gently arched. His hair itself is silky soft and raven blue in color.Adorned with bells, its normal luster is only amplified by the golden bits woven upon its strands. Resistant to tangles due to fae magic his mother spun upon it during his childhood, it can grow to shocking lengths and still be perfectly manageable. Before his death, his hair trailed upon the ground like a veil, and with time it will again. Upon his head sit clusters of long green-blue feathers. Magpie in appearance, they shine with flashes of yellow and purple. These feathers are a trait from his father, seeing as his mother was the one whose deer glamour had horns. Though primarily hidden by his flower crown, their base is quite fluffy, hinting that with time the small amount of feathers adorning his head will double, possibly triple. Highly approachable, he is considered good company. With his gentle demeanor and musical voice he'll more often than not converse with any who approach him. He's extremely fond of fawns and will allow them to cuddle up in the downy soft fur of his belly while he sings them old fae lullabies. He has aversions to being judgmental, however will typically avoid characters that he fears are too rough or 'dark' for him to safely remain around. Genty's Magic ... He is a fae whose magic is as pure as it comes. Able to spin light akin to that of the sun. His light can either be gentle and soothing or, harsh and burning. Though he cannot produce heat, he can produce the Uv rays that plants so desire. Due to this, plants often are seen leaning towards him, even while glamoured. He is unable to entirely glamour himself and often emits a gentle glow when surrounded by darkness. Since plants are so drawn to him, it was only natural that as a child he developed an ability to speak to the elusive greenery. Though their language is nothing akin to what is spoken and more emotional and spiritual than anything, he is considered a plant singer. He understands plant life better than most and knows ways to coax its growth and persuade it to flourish even when it typically wouldn't. Due to this, he is able to keep a flourishing flower garden even in the middle of winter. His light also works in a less physical way and more emotional way. Able to chase away mental shadows, he aids those who are lost within themselves. Bringing laughter and happiness to those who normally would be clouded in the mists of depression. In short, he acts as a healer of broken pasts. Though he cannot heal flesh wounds and illnesses, he can cease the torment when minds and lock away memories. However, he'll only seal memories if the patient is willing and gives him their consent or it is a dire situation that multiple lives depend on. He'll never do so for selfish reasons. Fighting Style ... When confronted, he's more likely to flee than stand and fight. Though if followed he will attempt to cease the conflict by blinding his pursuer with a flash of brilliant white light. His light can go from soft and gentle to blinding in only an instant which gives him ample time to get away. Though fleeing is how he resolves most conflict, if he is seriously angered or protecting another he will call upon the surrounding plants to aid him. By both singing to them and providing the light they need to flourish, they'll rapidly raise to the call. Weaknesses ... • Iron is extremely toxic to him and if touched will severely burn his skin. Even if around it briefly, it will cause him to become violently ill. If swallowed, he's more likely to die than survive. • He is unable to cross lines of salt and running water. • Rowan wood causes a lull in his magic and makes him weak. Wearing Rowan wood is a sure way to get the fae stag to avoid you. • Dark magic can easily kill the fae stag. Any other magic except for that which is pure, will cause his body to repeal it violently, causing illness Forest Life History ... Genty came into the forest as a lost soul. He'd been torn from the love of his life and was in dire need of a place to recover. Fae never truly died, they simply ceased to exist long enought for their souls to recover and the gods knew this. Therefore they placed him into a land of innocent wonder, blessing him with youth and a mind that would slowly remember the past. Therefore he wouldn't be plagued with haunting memories when his soul was at it's most delicate. As he grew, he realized that this world held corruption as well, and he sought to purge it from this new found sanctuary. For years he worked alone and unaided, chasing shadows and singing life into existence. Every petal that fell from his crown brought life to a small plant, which if luck was on it's side, would flower and lure beauty into it's clutches. It was only when he decided to approach a newly made family that his longing for company returned. With his blessings, he wished them luck and gave them one of his twenty-four bracelets. He has high hopes for the little souls he saw that day. They were full of innocent brightness. He plans to help those whose shadows are controlling and steering them into the inky blankness of despair. He wished to sing them song's that heal and aid in their mental recovery, so that they too can see the small beauties that flourish within the forest. Past Life History ... Genty was born within a fae realm called the 'Otherworld', which was often mistaken for the human equivalent of purgatory. Hidden away and masked from the foul on-goings of the human existence, the Fae flourished. Their world was one of peace, music, and innocent magics. As Genty grew into an adult, his parents stepped down for their title to make way for their son's future as Duke of Flora. Therefore making Genty a servant of the royal house. For years, he did their bidding without complaint. However he grew lonely and therefore unhappy and discontent with life. Unhappiness was a terrible malady for one who dwelled solely in the light. It darkened the spirit and cast gloom over those he held in his protection. The Elves from a neighboring land were sent to him as an attempt to cheer the fading lord. For they too were solely of the light. Within this traveling party of well doers, a single elf stood out from the rest. Tall and fair, with a heart and soul of gold. The man was witty and filled with laughter that rang like bells. Months passed and the two grew closer and closer by the day, their bond ever strengthening. As the year passed, the two decided to vow never to take another. In that aspect, they became official lovers. Hands were tied and a feast was held. The following years passed quickly for the lord of light had a companion that kept his spirits high. They loved and offered love to all of those around them. Those in their protection flourished. However something dark was fast approaching. As the next and final year passed, Genty noticed his lover fading. His light flickered and sputtered, hinting that he was to be extinguished within the year. Healers were called, yet nothing could save the Lord of Light's elven lover. His lovers death was an eventful one, filled with much sorrow and pain filled wailing. This death cast him into an instant depression. Genty tried to slit his own wrists multiple times within the next few months. His grief was overwhelming and his heart and soul were literally shattered. His lands were cast in a shadow so dark that only his death could lift the shadow that choked the land with death and ruin. In the end it was poison that did the deed. He died painfully, his own hands tearing into his chest in attempt to relieve the intense pain that radiated from his core. They found him in ruin the following morning and on that day, sunlight reigned through sunstarved land. Birds sang their joyous song and the Fae mourned their fallen Duke. Family Ymir; /Home/ It all started when the two met moments before the attack that left him with a permanent limp. The grey later aided in nursing him back to health and the two quickly became fast friends. Over time feelings grew and emotions took hold within their hearts. Though it took a long while for the fae to admit it, he had come to love the grey deeply. As of 4/5/15, he acted upon a whim and not only allowed his emotions to surface, but admitted his feelings towards the other. Ymir is his home, his life, his best friend, and his love. His little dove Dove. Positive ... Herla; Friend, healed when wounded. Trusts. Gehirn; Protector, respected. Neela; Child, extremely smart, hardheaded. Admired. Verve; Respected. Good company.
