Venstre, which translates to left in Norsk is one of my OOC deer. She was not the first, and was revealed long after Rett. Venstre stole away one of my older deer, who was simply called E. Through his sacrifice, she was given a name and took a form. Her pictogram resembles an E shape, and through this, I often associate the word Envy with her. Venstre is a part of me.

I decided to Call my two muses Venstre and Rett for they both translate to Left and Right, and would be representing the left and right hemispheres of the brain. The pair do not represent "good" or "evil" in myself, for the meanings of such terms could never be defined. There is no middle-ground between the pair. They are the middle-ground and the extremity. Both Venstre and Rett are symmetrical and polar-opposites.

When Venstre is played, she is very much in character. Venstre is the tension in words unsaid, Opportunities I denied, she feeds seething insecurities and scathing thoughts. She is passion, lust, aggression and neutrality. Opportunistic and deceiving. I created her, and I cling to her eagerly. She clings to me in return. Venstre is quick to judge, to act and to action. There is little pause between a disagreement and a fight; she pushes on any tension she finds until it breaks. Snarling and smiling at you, she will see an opportunity to point out a flaw to make herself appear greater. She enjoys the thrill of flirting, but on any signs of commitment, is immediatley bored, and thinks no more of it.

Venstre is a compulsive liar. It can be seen that her only speech is lies; with what little talking she does. (As most of her noises are growls, hisses, snaps and snarls.) She revels in paranoia, and does her best to feed it, trying her best to convince another party otherwise.

Originally, the idea was that Rett and Venstre were the same being. One would morph into another depending on the mood. I still believe in this, yet, whenever I drew them, I had to draw them together. I could never exclude one from another. When I had double windows in forest, I was compelled to sign them both in, and for them to sit beside each other or fight. The more I learn about them, the harder it is to understand them.

Rett, which translates to right in Norsk is one of my OOC deer. She was the first, and was revealed long before Venstre. Rett stole away one of my older deer, who was called Murdoch. Through his sacrifice, she was given a name and took a form. Her pictogram resembles a sort of open glass or chalice shape, and through this, I often associate many positive ideologies with her. Rett is a part of me.

Rett came to me one afternoon. She was not attached to a theory or concept. Originally I wanted to have an OOC deer for when I did not feel like playing a character, but she seemed to dislike the idea, and her character wanted to be me. She was not a mirror. She was a vessel. Rett, for some time, operated as a singularity. She did not have a split personality or other form. Whenever I was angry or hateful or bitter, she could not bring herself to it. Such raw emotions did not register in her. Rett seemed more passive, and thoughtful. If she was to act like the aforementioned, she would have to have a logical reason to do so. She could not be these things simply because I was. So Venstre was created.

Rett is like me in many ways, but she also represents what I wish I was. Rett is thoughtful, passive, calm and selfless. She will not judge someone outright, and would rather to go with the flow. She secretly adores getting her ego stroked, although this is not as extreme as it once was. Rett hated being alone, but over the years, has come to appreciate it and tolerate it. Rett dislikes group tasks, and prefers to operate alone. She shows some leadership qualities. Rett loves to entertain friends and will make jokes at her own expense if it means she will see your beautiful smile. Rett often has a hard time adapting, and can often go into a state of shock, or pass into Venstre in hopes to heal a situation, but more often than not makes it worse.

Rett represents neutrality to an intensity of love, kindness, and loyalty. Rett is the truth in a friends eyes. The joy in a sunset and peacefulness of an afternoon. She is Vibrancy and selflessness. Creative and imaginative. She sometimes lives more in her own headspace than a reality, but seems to linger out more and more. She is both confident, fearful and shy, often reflecting on past mistakes, gathering wisdom and things to never do again When Venstre licks her cheek and whispers in her ear, she may become paranoid or depressed. In turn if Rett shouts or hisses at Venstre, she will back down.
