The long, full of excitements and new meetings day has finally passed, if only to please the night. Bursting emotions and sweaty heat now replaced with enveloping dark and calming breeze, he would take a long walk across the forest, never straying too far from the pond.

The blue deer, whose pelt now as dark as the night sky, stepped cheerfully, humming an old, yet jolly tune to himself.
He would travel around the Great Oak, examine every mushroom circle, climb the Twin Gods hill, to find nothing but sleeping deer. Demyx was disappointed.. Even now, after the sun has set, he would still look for someone to keep him company, someone to goof around with, but he could not find not a single deer awake..

The stag sighed, and decided to head back to the pond, where he would then get some rest, knowing another exciting day awaits him.

Just as he was about to go, a sudden sound caught his attention, like someone ran through a bush. Looking around for any sign of existence, the stag noticed a small figure run across the forest floor, and followed it.
Dashing after the small creature, he got a glimpse of its round, sparkling eye, and was sure he could read mockery in them..

"So you want to play?" - Demyx asked, galloping after the small thing, skillfully jumping over any obstacle in his way.
The creature would hide in bushes, jump out, run some more, then stop just for a moment and look back, before dashing off again.
It was driving him crazy! He ran and ran, chasing after the thing, which showed no exhaustion..
The blue stag was getting tired himself, and gasped for a breath, as the animal once again hid in the bushes, only to switch directions and narrowly turn around, now running in the opposite direction.

The deer halted sharply, then dashed after the creature again.. He could almost hear the little thing laughing at him, mocking him.. Once the two creatures went closer to the pond, the smaller one hopped on a tree and climbed up, hiding in the branches.

Demyx slew down and took deep breaths, his body shaking.
"So you don't wanna play anymore, huh?" - He asked, looking up, only to see a brown squirrel staring back at him.
"Who am I kidding, squirrels never want to hang out with me!" - He proclaimed. Now that he has caught his breath, he felt the need to sit down.

The stag lay against a tree, letting his head lean on the rough wood. He closed his eyes in delight, taking a moment to listen to the nature.

Contrasting to the bleating fawns and chirping birds of the day, the night sounds were insignificant to those, who paid little attention to the details. The stag smiled slightly to himself, he usually didn't notice these sounds either - the rhythmical, enthralling song of the crickets, the soft, calming song of the near pond.. He could even hear the Great Oak humming his ancient tunes..

A sudden thought hit the blue deer - he remembered the responsible, boring things he would have to do tomorrow, and groaned, shaking his head slightly.. Demyx hurried to get his rest, for another long day would await when the sun rises over the horizon.

Alright, I -really- hope I got Demyx's character right, lol |D Excuse any foolish grammatic mistakes, it's like 1:20 in the morning and I really need my sleep, but I just -had- to finish this xD

I hope you like it <3
