She had to strongly resist the urge to crumble as she felt his joy fading. Forcing herself to create a stern compassionate tone she spoke, "Love..., Steele is here to stay." She nosed his side affectionately, melting to her normal softness. "He doesn't want you to steal me away..." Licking a snowflake from Skullers neck she closed her eyes lightly.
Skuller froze and wasn't really sure what brought the whole thing up. He felt Tally was thinking different to him. "Tally, I know he is. I never said I would run away with you, sweep you off your feet and steal your heart from Steele.."
He turns his head again, gazing into the fog and snow. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on in Tally's head.. or his.
