Mild Violence and Language Warning
This is Aegle's memory of what happen yesterday.
I don't fear death. I have always waited for death with open arms. I don't know why it hasn't come sooner....
It surged through my veins, intoxicating every limb in my body. It was my insanity, my pain.
That doe was near.
The one who had killed my son. He was mine. Not theirs....
I found her resting where Latern died in the crossed logs. My gaze never averted from her.
"How dare she?" I murmured.
She stood up at the sound of my whisper. Her eyes were large and fear swirled in them.
I smirked. I was Aegle again.
It took my no time to cut into her flesh with my hoofs. They had seen blood one to many times.
....Revenge....
She deserved every damn hit I threw her way.
But she couldn't fight for herself.
She ran from me, trying to awake Saosin.
Her screams. Her pleads. Brought me joy.
If she ran, I ran faster and cut her off.
...Bastard...
In my blurred memory I see him.
The face that I've hurt so many times.
I can fight my own battles and he should know that better than anyone.
But this was no battle. This was a vicious slaughter.
I was Aegle.
...Grey...
He also came
His eyes full of despair.
You've just seen the real Aegle.
This is what you claim to love....

A doe of black appeared. She stood between my cowering prey and me.
She tried to hit me but, I dodged and ran around to the small doe.
I ripped into her again. She begged me to stop.
The black doe chased me away but, I evaded her.
....Life....
I sparred her life. Not because of that doe.
But because she was blinded by love.
Love is an evil thing.
It has never showed me kindness. But I know what it does.
I lost my bestfriend because I was blinded by love.
I left her there.
...Abomination...
He was always right about me.
I am a abomination....
I'll fight the black doe.
I don't fear pain.
I don't fear death.
I fear myself

I personally think this is
Lantern doesn't REALLY blame her for his death. His mind's just a bit...twisted at the moment. You can tell he either forgave her or...something seeing as he's fine sitting with her as an adult ghost.
