Some time back was invited over to Kato's home and accepted happily, brought to his ranch while it was still daylight outside and shown around his property where she got to meet the animals and taste some of his homemade bread and butter, absolutely loved it and didn't hold back her praises over all the work he's put into his home. Extra excited about meeting and feeding his miniature goats some treats, goats are her fave animal ever.

Got to meet his daughter Suki properly and settled by the kitchen island while Kato started with dinner, talked about the recipe he was making, ever curious about learning about new dishes to make, especially with both of them being vegetarian. Keeping the conversation going while eating they talked about their families, their lives current state and the rut that just had passed. Glad that they both seemed to hold the same opinion towards the "event" and mentioned she was feeling a bit too old for it at this point, had usually only ended up in the sidelines anyway because of how much of a wallflower she is. Touched that the man thought so kindly of her though, told him that he deserved someone to give attention too past the rut.

Was taken on a carriage ride after dinner and was completely enamored with it, with the wild horses and the fireflies along the way. Treated to dessert once they returned and when offered to stay the night, accepted with just a moment of thinking about it. Given a guest room for the night and spent some time meditating to melt everything that had happened during her visit before she went to bed.
Given breakfast in the morning and once ready to leave, thanked him for the amazing time and demanded she'd be the one to cook for them next time.

✦ Rarely seek out company and can more often than not be found alone, never turns anyone down should they seek her out though and often only strays from her spot to approach those who are closer to her.

✦ Socially awkward at best, uncomfortable with the thought of making others uncomfortable and as such may have a very limited body language.

✦ Takes a while to warm up to others and is careful of how others approach her, being as sensitive as she is it's easy to set her off and make her distant. Values respect and patience a lot.

✦ Has a very calm and soothing air around herself, coupled with her soft movements and gentle voice there's a lot to strengthen her image as kind individual.

✦ Usually remains in the sideline of things and doesn't at all enjoy being in the center of attention if she's in a group, prefer to observe and mainly only throw herself into things if it means protecting her family or friends.

✦ Does try to keep herself guarded and is cautious of individuals or situations who gives off the wrong aura, while not judging, keeps her trust to herself until proven right or wrong. Doesn't often share much about herself or her life in fear of it being used against her.

✦ Loyal to a fault, sticks by her friends side for as long as she can. Understands that it can cause trouble for herself and those involved in the long run and can take it hard when things bite her in the ass in the end.

✦ Holds an endless amount of love and respect towards those who find their way into her life, would go great lengths for them and always seek to keep them happy once they gain her trust. Will not hesitate to put family and friends before herself and her own health.

✦ Very rare to see the doe angry or annoyed, often holds a very gentle and calm aura and it takes a lot to get her blood boiling. Does have trigger points but try to solve things in a more civilized manner before anything else.

✦ Very rarely speak to others despite wishing to do so at times. Finds it an incredibly difficult thing to do and cause her a lot of frustration as she may appear more distant than she means to. Doesn't mind speaking to someone if they initiate a conversation.

✦ Her quietness also means she is very unlikely to speak her mind about things she might feel uncomfortable with or about troubles in her life, doesn't want to burden anyone with it.

✦ At times seem to hold an endless amount of patience, let things take the time they need and doesn't rush anything as she feels it wouldn't be of any help.

✦ Very motherly and caring, but often so from a distance unless someone's gotten very close to her. A quiet worrier and willing to offer any sort of help available to make sure those around her are happy.

✦ Sadly, could easily be taken advantage of due to her insecurity and good will towards everyone, all it takes is a kind façade to lead her astray.

✦ Distant and fearful of romantic love, a lingering affect of heartbreak from her past life, doesn't trust her feelings on the subject and try to steer far away from it if she can. Despite this, holds a little flicker of hope but denies herself the chance to fuel the flame. Scared of once again suffering from hurt and saves herself from it before it can happen.

✦ That being said, deep down is a hopeless romantic that greatly values even the smallest gestures of affection.

✦ Technically doesn't rut each fall due to her human background. Able to reproduce all year around but experiences a minor spike in hormones during time of the rut which may drive her to seek others out a bit more often.

✦ Due to her childhood and relation to her birth family, isn't willing to consider anyone family unless she feels a great amount of love and respect for them. Blood ties does not not automatically gain the title of family and is something to be earned over time, but can be lost in a second all the same.

Build very similar to that of a whitetail doe but a bit leaner than you'd expect.
Holds a very small amount of fat and equally small amount of muscles, yet still enough to give her a healthy rounded and smooth appearance.

Her coat colors ranges from a dull chocolate brow, to a golden cream along her underside and the inside of her legs while her topline, hind and lower part of her legs are of an almost black color.
Pitch black markings stretches from around her throat, down her front, along her sides and fading into her hind and almost seem to reject light cast on it, it only gives off a very faint metallic sheen like the feathers of a raven. The blackness is broken off by a dull pink that fades over her ribs and across her chest, looks similar to nebulae in their texture.
Streaks of cream gold breaks through by her hind like sun rays through storm clouds.
Have gold-like markings on the sides of her muzzle that also envelopes her chin, they line the underside of her eyes together with the pink color of her rib markings and form a dot by her brow, the color also line her hooves up around her dewclaws.

Like dust in the sun there are speckles of gold following the flow of her markings along her body while they're also more concentrated around her eyes, hooves and on her tail. These speckles appear shiny when sunlight fall upon them and one may be given the false impression that they might rub off should they touch them.

Yumi's pelt is thin and extremely smooth to the touch, it doesn't do much keeping her warm when weather is chilly however.
While short for the most part, it has grown longer between her shoulders and over her rump, the little mohawk is more rough to the touch but has no resistance when touched. The longer hairs often bristle in a show of her emotions.

Her eyes used to have a sharp toxic green color, it can still be hinted in some instances but due to her blindness the color have been washed out and appears sickly pale instead.

Scars are few and mostly hidden under her fur, however, there are six large ones stretching towards her left shoulder after an encounter with her brother Rahal. They differ in length but all appear to have been deep and painful when inflicted, scar tissue is stiff and smooth to the touch and at times limit larger movements of the leg.

Blindness
Grew to become blind as Harumi and upon being granted a second chance seemed to have gotten her vision back, but after a while started noticing a blurriness that only got worse and worse with each passing week.
As it seem, her blindness isn't caused by a simple illness that one can cure with medication or surgery. Speculations say it's her old self that has found its way to the surface, however, why the blindness was the thing that returned is unknown.
It's complex in the way it works, as it constantly shift and may grant her the vision back under a limited time.

Like years ago, it's affected by the sun and moon and by the weathers they bring, can't do anything about it and values the times when vision returns to her.

Vision is completely gone during sunlight/daytime.
Twilight and dawn allows her vision to return some, yet remains very blurry.
Night is the time where her vision is back in full and one may not see any traces that she'd ever be blind in the first place.

✦ Humming
Something that's still with her since her stressful time as a teen in the human world, still does it at times as a way to calm and soothe herself or someone she cares for.

✦ Tilting & turning
Due to her lack of eyesight you will often see the doe tilting her head to one side and/or turn her head a bit to locate sounds around her. Doing so helps her pinpoint sounds that can help her navigate through the forest, like the sound of water, the steps of her company or voices she recognizes.
Doesn't help her avoid trees though!

Ryusei • January 15th, 2016
Firstborn, son.

A bond that has not broken, but only grown stronger during time apart. Horrified when events unfolded that would push her son to murder his father and to this day still blames herself for everything that transpired. Allowed him his time and space to come to terms with the events and welcomed him back without a single ounce of hesitation.
Can't begin to voice how proud she is oh him, loved with all that she is and will do anything she can to be there for him and keep him safe.

Second born, daughter.

Unable to describe the love and devotion held towards her daughter. Elated to see what type of doe she's grown into and is proud of the progress she is making day by day as she's coming out of her shell. Holds no doubt she can take care of herself yet still keeps an ear out for to be able to race to her side for support when it's needed.
Provokes a small sense of insecurity due to the fact that Naoki seem to prefer talking about her problems with others and keep her (Yumi) in the dark.
Would do anything for if it meant keeping her safe.

Daughter.

Her second born daughter and a source of immense pride and happiness. Finds them to be alike in many ways and thus tries to guide her when she can, but allows her daughter the time and space she desires to find herself and grow in the pace she finds comfortable.
Would do anything for her, without a second thought, to keep her safe and happy.

Daughter.

Youngest daughter, source of immense pride and happiness. A bit more outgoing of the younger twins but still finds a lot they both have in common. As with Oriana, allows her daughter the time and space to find her footing and grow as she wishes while doing her best to support her where she can.
Would do anything for her, without a second thought, to keep her safe and happy.

Takato
Her closest friend and most cherished bond outside her family, has known the bull for many years now and finds his friendship to be one of her most reliable and steady ties. Has never questioned Kato and his intentions when he's around, one of very few she's completely relaxed around. Holds him in higher regards than most in her life, completely trusts his judgement in any given situation without a second thought. Appreciative of what he's done for her and her family through the years and aims to repay him in any way she can, protective of in her own quiet ways. Knows how hard working he is and has a lot of admiration and respect towards him for it.

Allistair
The one who buried her as Harumi and brought her back as Yumi.
Holds an infinite amount of respect for him, a guide in many aspects and forever grateful for any sort of aid from the bull to bring her to where she is now. Almost considered a father figure at times.
Rarely sees these days, but doesn't let that falter her trust towards him.

Raum
As any relation in her life, was initially wary of and didn't quite open up to him at first. But hearing and noticing what good he did to Naoki through their friendship had her hold a quiet appreciation for him that has only grown with time as his relationship to his daughter has deepened. Still holds close tabs on, though so far finds him to be kind and gentle despite his burly size.

Has had a rocky relationship with the Copper ever since their teens due to their family situation, stood on very different sides of the situation and found herself wrongly blamed for the hurt caused by their mother's death and Yumi's desire to stray from home. Found his lack of understanding and respect frustrating and started distance herself from him and their father when they both treated her like a plague.
Has been hurt by him countless of times and holds a great deal of bitterness and fear towards.
On better terms as of late, but does not put any trust towards and isn't willing to let her guard down and consider him family.

Azarias
Met during the rut, the father of her firstborn children.
Became close with after several meetings and enjoyed his company when he was around, seen then as kind and caring, generally held no expectations towards regarding the upbringing of their children.
Lately viewed with reservation and frustration after having learned of an entirely different side of the stag.

Across
Has been made a target of before and causes her a great deal of stress and anxiety for their relentlessness. To be kept at a distance and will steer clear or hide from them should she sense them around.

Asura
Broken bond.
Once viewed as a close and dear friend, despite their many differences and was the one she remembered the most from her past life due to the amount of time they'd spent together. Cared for and appreciated him looking after her and her children after they had been born, even if he was scarce at times.
Eventually seemed to reach a breaking point after she'd tried helping him when he needed to feed, learned later from him that he had consumed some souls within the forest and that he was giving her his final goodbye.
Shattered, tried to keep hope up for, but couldn't keep brushing things under the rug anymore.
