History

Timeline

August 11th, 2014
Born in the forest alongside his siblings.

August 2014 onward
Growing alongside his siblings. Received various life lessons, some more dire than other as the majority of his physical growth took place in the Endless. Consequently, slower mental development resulted in many lessons going over his head, including social norms and what is and is not acceptable involving others.

Concept of death was lost during this time - under the impression from here on that it's a temporary state that, while frightening, is short-lived and thus stressing over it is unnecessary. Concern for those killed wanes quickly, leading to the first sparks of apathy kindling in his heart.

Early 2015 to late 2016
Having left the forest, roamed a vast territory in another world in an alternate form. Continued the rest of his growth here. Over the course of many years in this world, laid waste to kingdoms and their people alike, amassing a great wealth and committing unspeakable atrocities to foe and kin alike.

Spent a lifetime as a living harbinger of ruin. In desperation, the kingdoms would come together to escape the tyranny he wrought. A bounty was placed upon his head, and subsequently claimed via sword and spear and arrow. Sired a number of offspring of his resident species during that time, some of which survive to present day.

Slaughtered and deprived of life. Would remain unattached to a body for several days only, then have his soul spirited away many years in the future of the same world that would come to be known as Demasos.

Late 2016 to early 2017
Reincarnated for the first time since his birth - manifested in the Nevale region of Demasos, present day. During the reincarnation process, conflicting energies in his soul (primarily related to the dark and light magics in his spirit) resulted in a strange combination of genes developing and evolving, pushing him into a new physical form and imbuing him with associated abilities (as seen currently). At this time, also purged of all the dark magics in his soul, the likes of which were annihilated by his light magics in the chaos.

The trauma resulted in complete amnesia, including the loss of many learned skills such as speech. Taken in by a middle-aged couple (Kamali & Taroi) who would go on to essentially raise him from his reverted, child-like state, teaching him lessons he'd forgotten as well as new ones he'd missed out on entirely. Would also pick up his accent from them in the midst of their teachings. For some time, they would remain his only known parents, but would always from that point on be seen and viewed as a second family.

Early 2017 to mid 2017
Spent the following years traveling the world with his parents, visiting various regions including the Unagi province where his tail bauble was received.

Over time, some memories would begin to begin to reform in his mind - quickly came to understand that these were indeed his memories and not just strange dreams plaguing him at night. When memories related to his birth parents began to return, felt an insatiable need to return to the Endless and rekindle bonds with them should they still be there. Delved more and more deeply into his magics at this point, dabbling in those he was already rather adept in and experimenting with newly emerging abilities as well.

After perfecting his use of portals, and with the blessings of his adoptive family, would return to the Endless again.

Current Events
Having come into contact with his mother again, tentatively trying to determine the best time to tell her about their relation to one another. Fears she won't believe him as a result of his vastly different appearance, or worse, deem him mad and refuse to speak to him ever again. Keeping his distance for the time being out of respect, and not wanting to disrupt her life and her current family bonds during a vital period.

Currently, possesses only memories (though not all) of his childhood and some of those present in it. Does not yet recollect any of his time after leaving the Endless for the first time or the horrors that followed.
