1/30-31/2016
Mostly just clinging to her mother. Her few attempts at trying to mingle with the new fawns have pretty much failed. Doesn't particularly...feel anything for them. Loves them but...also kinda...hates them? Very much aware of the family that is around, and attention the new kids have been getting. Noting the positive interactions they have, whereas the same individuals who dote on them are the same ones who barely showed interest in her, Theo and Alina. Somewhat bitter. Only solace is her mother and litter mates (mostly Theo because Alina is pretty much nonexistant).

Also noting how her newest siblings seem to care more about their older siblings and others. Feels like a black sheep, so to speak. But also refusing to think it's because of her own insecurities towards them, sigh.

Has learned to keep her emotions to herself, but also has a feeling she isn't the only one who feels this way, considering Alina's distance and Theo's clinginess to their mother as well. Taken to just sleeping alot. Since nightmares don't really exist anymore thanks to the necklace, enjoys the dreams she has of a perfect family which...sadly, doesn't include the new kids. After spending months in a human world with Helios, finally came back to the forest. Finally recovered from her nightmares and anxiety attacks (for the most part), and was told by her brother it was time for her to go home. Felt freaking excited to finally go home, having been really homesick the whole time.

Once they got into the forest, followed her brother to her mothers tree and Theo's grave. Had expected their mother and Alina there, but her mother was in the distance, Alina no where to be found. Teared up a bit at her brothers grave, but left his gift on the branches while Helios left his. Stood there for a bit, before being coaxed by Helios to go to their mother. Didn't...really want to go without him because for some stupid reason felt shy, but after getting closer to see her mother, gained confidence.

Noted that her mother had a new den, but didn't question it. Was kinda used to moving around now. Conversed with her mother, a little perturbed at some things that were said, but chalked it up to her mother not believing she was here to stay for good (which was pretty much what it was). Got a hug from her mother, feeling pretty darn good about it.

Heard a noise behind her mother, and looked around to see a tiny body coming closer; a baby (Sunil). Quickly learned she had new siblings, and at first kinda insulted. But after learning that Alina wasn't distant because of them, relaxed. Helios enjoyed being a big brother, she could enjoy being a big sister. Learned that there were two more, Marbas and Sitara.

Moved right into the den with her new siblings, tucking the extra blankets she had around them. Then kinda dozed off and didn't really notice the interaction between Brille, Zaf and Helios. GDI colette.

Long story short, mom had died and come back to life a few months back. And then a little while ago Theo died. Nightmares forever. Won't leave the den except to sometimes eat and do her business.

Was finally forced to move though, but the new den was just another hiding place. Despite being sedentary, was still losing weight. Barely slept. Hardly spoke anymore.

A few days ago, was sent to live with Helios. Wasn't...really happy about this because her brother had been...distant? Not to mention she was told not to be so clingy so...it was awkward. Regardless, did want to get out of the forest because it was hella scary, but at the same time wanted mom to come. Didn't really...feel safe without her?

The world Helios was in was much scarier (new form, completely caribou). So fell into a harsher stupor from that but was brought back to the border where she could be her usual self.

Remembered how comforting Helios is, and appreciates that he is trying...just wishes she could sleep without screaming and crying. And wishes her nightmare of a life would end, and that Theo would come back like Mom did....

Extended Information

Colette’s face is derived as a mix between both of her mothers, and grandmothers Syahi and Nalira. Like the TEF inhabitants, her face has an odd angle to it in regards to her eyes and nose, giving her a rather exotic countenance. Her face, although humanoid, is not actually skin, but rather very fine short fur that mimics the pafe face of TEF deer. Her lips however, are fleshy like a humans. Starting from just above the fleshy part of her nose (which is a sort of mix between human and deer), are feathers that change color and size the higher up on her head they go. From the back of her head many quill-like feathers sprout and fall about her head. Moveable and very expressive.

Ears are large, possibly inherited from her bongo heritage, or possibly just because she is a baby. Along the rims are dark cyanish feathers while the inside is full of fluffy fur. The fur, although thick, is fine enough to allow for perfect hearing.

Eyes are a vibrant red, contrasting the dark cyanish of her feathers. Her eyes come from her grandfather, Red Eyes. Her eyes are more like a humans in position and pupil shape, which limits her peripheral vision. Her sclera, like Lue’s, is white.

Dark cyanish colors of her feathers come from her grandmother Nalira’s greenish ones, but also being colored in such a way that it reflects her mother Zafeiri’s teals. A sort of mix of both. The black, ink like markings come directly from Lue and Syahi. The single, white and black feather in the middle of her quill feathers is the mark of Osias, which will serve as a reminder of her debt to him in the future.

Her build doesn’t reflect her bongo, oryx or caribou heritage, but possibly a mutation from being a mix of all three cervine. Doesn’t look very fragile, built rather sturdy with strong legs. Body shape could possibly been taken from one of Syahi’s genetics.

Colors come from her grandfather Red Eyes and Grandmother Syahi. Having a variety of browns that color her body, having an overall warm appearance to her. Like her mother Lueur, she has the ability to change colors based on the seasons. She gets a more pinkish-brown color in the summer and autumn whereas her winter coat is a more darker reddish-brown. Her feathers also shift colors, being a darker cyan in the winter months, where they are a brighter cyan during summer months.

Near the base of her tail is a little tuft of feathers that are reminiscent of her aunt Adayti’s. It is unknown if they will grow of stay the small little ducktail it is now.

Her tail is long, but not like her brother Helios’. It appears that it could be a mix between a oryx and a bongo’s, but the longer hairs almost makes it reminiscent to a wolf or horse.

Hooves are a very dark cyan like her feathers, but much more saturated in color. The bright color of her hooves comes from Lue, who has very colorful ones herself no matter the season.

Blood is a dark reddish purple color (#421525), thick like oil. The blood is both venomous when injected, and poisonous when consumed. The effects cause hallucinations. This helps in case there are those who wish to attack them, and will not be able to locate them via the hallucinations. Common hallucinations include multiplication of the fawns as well as blurry vision. Lasts 5 minutes to 15 minutes, which is enough time for the fawn to get away.

12/26/2015 Born to Lueur and Zafeiri as the second child of four. Littermates to Thierri, Chael and Alina.

12/27/15 Altercation with Haakon (and his two children).

12/30/15 Altercation with Soet and her pack. Injured for the first time. Also witnessed a fight between her mother, Helios and Dale.

12/31/15 Altercation with Greitei. Saved by a black panther who was actually her sister. Learned that the top of trees are both safe and heights are terrifying.

1/8/16 Saw the Old Oak (cooler inside than outside), Pond (fun to splash in), and Twin Statues (fun to make everyone turn white with the spells) for the first time. Approached by Greitei again. Met the Ramsiels for the first time, especially fond of Icarus. Also met her older sister, Italia, for the first time.

1/9/16 Met sister Devani in her normal form. Met Grimkell and Rajani for the first time.
