Verteres was brought into the world on the 22nd of April, 2014 alongside his brother, Roanen. Over time, his soul has become fused with that of his demon's, Abel, as a result of the latter's tampering. A conflicted and melancholy soul, he finds great difficulty in approaching others, and is constantly at inner war with himself trying to come to terms with what he has done to family and loved ones in the past.

His demonic attributes strengthen his magics, but his strength remains in his healing abilities. Verteres could be considered frail for his size, but is able to hold his own fairly well against those even only slightly smaller than him. His darker side is subject to being triggered for seemingly unknown reasons which will cause him to lash out and become violent. However, the truly malicious side of him is gone, lost when Abel fused their souls together.

Always, he seeks justified retribution in himself for his past crimes.

- Direct transfer of the devout spell onto Verteres inflicts immediate and painful burns; it eats away at the skin like acid, quickly creating large, open wounds across his body. The more the spell has been transferred from being to being, the less intense it becomes, and the less likely it is to imbue as severe damage. The burns heal surprisingly quickly, however, and are fully gone within a matter of hours.

- Residual effects of having once been a separate being from his demon, when under periods of extreme stress or negative emotion, he is subject to incredibly violent outbursts. He may become blind, and there is no distinguishing between friend or foe. Very few are able to bring him down from these emotional highs; those who are loved and close to his heart.

- Verteres is particularly gifted in healing magics, those which are often used on himself. However, they can be extremely draining, inflicting both mental and physical strain on his body. It is not uncommon to see him bleed from his facial orifices should he push himself too hard, or for too long. He is unlikely to test his limits unless the situation is incredibly dire.
