"Born" in the Oak. Surrounded by warm, dry roots, listening to the patter of rain and the tree's humming. Curled up in a ball amidst the roots for a while, dozing off after a while.
Awoke later to a small, dark being nearby. Blinked at them sleepily for a moment before scooting over to nestle itself into the other's side.
