Petra

2/2/17

P: Healthy, fit.
M: Fine.
Returned after a long absence.

1/17/16
Months later, her belly has gotten even larger. Uneasy and stressed. What do.
A day or two ago, met more does of her species. Though they were all smaller than her, assumed a submissive role as most of them were a family unit. Comfortable in their presence, especially with the other pregnant fenales. Met a few who had birthed their fawns quite recently, a glimpse of what she had to look forward to. Also enjoyed the company of an energetic young doe (Rhona).

Today, wandered about grazing. Came upon Cavallo in the evening. Tolerated the stallion's presence, remembering him from before the rut.

11/15
Somewhat suspicious of her pregnancy, due to a slightly rounded belly and increased appetite. Though the latter is partially because of the weather growing colder.
Unsure of what to make of the situation. Had become pregnant once in her homeland, but had lost the fawn early in the pregnancy. Low expectations that anything will result from this time.

10/28/15
Though she has become less active, needing to rest after the rut, is spending her time preparing for the approaching winter. Maintaining her health.
Pregnant, though currently unaware of this.

Joined The Red's herd once more, greeted Llefrewa, a Sambar doe. Cast a few unsettled looks in Saosin's direction, uncertain about whatever had snapped his antler.. Approached by the Red soon after arriving, flirted with the stag for a while before seeing danger in the distance (Umay). Stood by warily until returning to the two other hinds and trying to prod Llefrewa to her feet. Also stared at Nikhil, who was passing by. Things calmed down soon enough, and the Red returned. Gave each of the other hinds a sniff and a nuzzle and circled a bit, acting possessive for whatever reason. Asserting her dominance, perhaps. Settled down to sit. Spent a bit more time flirting with Red later, then more sitting around.

9/19/15
Spent more time in Llefrewa's, the Red's, and Saosin's company. Strutted around some more, totally not showing off to any stags, nooo...

tigers, nOOO
Alain, yess

Met Alain, spent some time with the stag and Llefrewa.
Later on, still a bit spooked by Shahla's presence nearby, eventually was approached by the tigress and thus ran off.

Also met the Red later, joined his little herd. Assumingly in danger of some sort, they relocated to the Blue Bowl. Munched on blueberries, strutted around with the Red stag. A bit intimidated by his companion, Saosin, but felt that if the others thought he was safe to be around he must be. Even if he did have two mouths with lots of teeth...
Met a few more deer, pushed people around. The usual.

9/12/15
Arrived in the forest a few weeks ago, under unknown circumstances. Highly distressed at first, attempted to find a way out of the crowded forest in vain. By now, has at least somewhat come to terms with being, at least temporarily, stuck here. Still unnerved by the other inhabitants of the forest.
Today she scented another of her species not far away from where she was hiding in the birch forest, approached another deer for the first time in this forest. Sniffed at the red deer hybrid, and then another hind who sat nearby. Relaxed a little bit, though still on alert for any trouble- had scented feline and canine individuals elsewhere in the birch.
Rested on the hill with the other hinds, getting up to sniff Thlayli when the older doe approached. Though recognizing that she was likely several years older than herself, sat in her place when she left.
Later trotted down towards the pond to get a drink, but found herself instead encountering a pair of males who seemed to be sparring intermittently, with several other individuals watching. Was approached by what appeared to be a horse (Cavallo)... Wasn't at all sure about how to react, having never seen a horse that wasn't accompanied by a human. Tolerated his closeness, becoming a little curious as he didn't seem to be aggressive. Was generally alright with him before a stranger startled her and she bolted away.

The next few days were spent alone for the most part, as she's still adjusting to the forest. Somewhat more at ease after meeting the hybrid doe again and venturing around a bit of the forest with her.
Also met up with Cavallo several times, tolerating and perhaps growing a little more comfortable around him.

Skittish | Distrustful | Self confident | Instinctive | Dominant
Very much a feral doe. Dominated by instinct, though now capable of reason and speech.
Distrustful of unnatural looking animals- need to avoid detection by predators. Since the majority of the forest's inhabitants are strange looking, this'll definitely be a major obstacle to overcome.
Herd animal. Will likely seek out other feral deer.
Dominant and highly confident when with others of her species, skittish near odd looking beings. Intense suspicion and dislike of predatory animals.
Originally from the forests of the Carpathian Mountains, wound up in the forest through some freak magical accident (?).
Experienced. Was successful enough during her life outside the forest, surviving numerous hardships. Participated in the rut there, though she never had any fawns. Knowledgeable about avoiding predators, finding food. However, the forest is very different from her homeland, and a great deal less predictable. Survival may be difficult.

Primarily uses feral body language.
Unnerved by her voice and thoughts. May startle at the sound of her own voice.

The fur on her back is a relatively light reddish-brown, underside is grayish. Eyes are a dark red in color.
Being of a subspecies of Red Deer that is one of the largest, Petra is noticeably larger than most hinds. Somewhat masculine. Tends to behave a bit dominantly towards other does as well as stags, partially due to her larger size.

Llefrewa - Hybrid hind. Liked, a comforting presence. Equal, though occasionally dominant towards the smaller female.

The Red - Active, quite interesting. Seems very fit, despite his age. Respects. Fun to tease, though. Father to her offspring.

Sambar - Interesting, though has minor hesitations about. Has never met her species before.

Thlayli - Older hind. A comfort. Uncertain dominance, unsure of where they stand, though respects her.

Alain - Calm. Has never met a member of her species so pale, believes that the stag must be fit and smart to have survived.

Saosin - Slight intimidation. Wary of due to his appearance, but his presence is tolerated. Seems alright..

Cavallo - Somewhat wary of. Amused by, finds his attention interesting. Possible "ally", source of safety.

Shahla - Tigress, danger. Flee.
