physical appearance

Her face is shapely and delicate, with gentle, feminine features. Though her eyes have glassed over and clouded due to blindness, they retain a glimmer of quiet joy. A long, slender neck leads to a well-rounded set of shapely shoulders. Her thick coat of fur and fat gives her a slightly rounded appearance, specifically around her midsection. Her legs are long and lean, her hooves petite. Lemon is notably small in stature, standing only just larger than the average mini-deer.

Lemon's pelt is a lovely shade of blue-grey. The fur grows lighter at her throat, belly, and backside -- while dark grey stripes drip down either of her sides. When shedding her coat, small dapples of light fur can be seen near her hindquarters. She wears a single, modest peacock feather near her face, the base of which is threaded into the ribbon ties of her beloved mask.

basics
A bit of a loner, lemon is very quiet and soft-spoken. She is easily overlooked, given her silent tendencies and shyness around strangers. The little doe is, by all definitions, an old soul. Demure, affectionate, and sweet-natured, there is much to be said in commendation of her personality.

Lemon tends to play the part of the reluctant hopeless romantic. She is rather old-fashioned when it comes to love, and is certainly a firm believer in the concept of 'soul mates'. Lemon will sometimes develop innocent crushes on other deer, but almost never makes her affection known, for fear of rejection. She would prefer to remain single, but sometimes finds herself accidentally falling head-over-heels. Her low self esteem makes her very choosy in the romance department, as she does not believe that she is truly good enough for anyone, and worries that she will eventually become a burden to anyone she finds herself attracted to. However, she is a passionate girl, and feelings of love are not easily suppressed.

Also, it would seem that she has a thing for 'bad guys'.

Though Lemon can seem a bit taciturn to outsiders, those who know her well know that she is warm and generous. Her chronic fear of social situations and commonly melancholic moods often veil her true desire to fill the forest with love and light. There is not a single deer in existence whom Lemon would not attempt to befriend, given enough time. It is quite an impossible task to get on her bad side -- and even then, she is quick to forgive. She is quick to see the good in everyone, even those who have wronged her. Loving and gentle, Lemon is ever willing to put aside her own needs and desires for those of others.

Lemon tends to feel drawn to loner types such as herself -- but, of course, she makes no prejudice when it comes to friendships, and she has many close friends with all types of various personalities.

Lemon is a creature of passion -- and this does not always go over well. She tries to remain optimistic at all times, to always be a beacon of love and light to the forest. However, with such bright light will always come deep shadow, and the little doe is prone to falling into occasional depressions over even the smallest things.

At times, Lemon is prone to small obsessions over other deer, sometimes stalking them for weeks on end, even if they have not formally met. These obsessions are entirely harmless, and generally stem from good will (such as wanting to comfort a lonely-looking deer, but lacking the nerve to actually approach).

Lemon has fairly low self esteem, but does not realize it. She is often quick to take the blame when bad things happen -- whether she is truly at fault, or not. She is certainly her own worst critic, and seldom escapes her own harsh self-judgment.
